Guys, question lang, what type of books do you mostly have? The real paperback/ hardbound books? Ebook? Audiobook? I looove the real book, i want to cover, smell the pages and put book plates in it.... I just dont think i cant do the ebook thingie...... Im beginning to worry about My shelves, should i start doing the ebook?
Depends on your preferences, sis. I have close to a thousand paperback + hardbound books. I don't usually count ebooks kasi I still prefer going oldschool.
Used to read a lot of fiction when I was younger, so most of my physical books are of that genre. In my mid-twenties I bought more of travel & food literature. My bookshelf is mostly for display now. This might sound terribly corny, but finally purchasing an ebook reader changed my life haha, so much that I have separation anxiety with it even if I'll be away for a couple of hours.I have close to 600 lovingly curated books in my e-library, no random stuff or trashy romances. I have been more interested in non-fiction as I grew older, specifically travel narratives, cookbooks (even if I don't really cook ), food memoirs and food literature. I trawl the net for all the food-related books that I can find, Ruth Reichl, Grant Achatz, Jeffrey Steingarten, Molly Wizenberg, Jay Rayner, Bourdain, and the like. I hope someone else out there is like me, looking for a kindred spirit.
