^sis, the tower and crypt is closed but the cathedral itself is open. You can even hear mass on May 1.

You can still follow your planned IT but scrapping the towers and St. Chapelle. Probably do Sacre Coeur on this day. You can also do the river Seine cruise.

i miss paris! my suggestion for first timers is to take the hop on hop off bus on the 1st day. it will give you a good preview of the city.

^Wary of the cashcashpinoy Europe deals - the fine print states that there's 700-800 USD Fuel Surcharge They also didn't state which airline and how many plane transfers.

Plus, 4 days in Paris / Europe isn't enough, parang not sulit to spend that much if you're going to stay for such a short time (if you're travelling from the Philippines /Asia that is).

^That is so true. And hello USD700-800 for Fuel Surcharge??! Eh yan na ang round trip plane fare mo eh. Normally FSC to Europe and the US is only USD220-280. I say better to DIY a trip pa rin

I strongly agree with both of you. Those who frequently travel definitely knows malaking portion ng fuel surcharge ang kakainin ng buong amount ng airfare. Naitanong ko lang kasi the deal is too good to be true.

^naku, paulan ulan talaga sa paris that is why you need to bring a small umbrella just in case it rains. it rained 2-3x when we were there last winter

hello mga sis! we're here na! it's 16deg. nainitan ako nung hapon but nung gabi na, ang lamig. honestly, medyo na shock ako. grabe sa dumi pala ang metro nila at yung amoy!! maduwal duwal ako. for those who have kids, mag taxi nalang kayo from the airport kahit mahal. hirap akyat sa stairs with our 40lb luggage. lastly, excited ako kumain ng Nutella crepe, but nakakita ako ng daga sa loob mismo ng crepe stand, coke nalang tuloy binili ko.

^LOL! They say that's part of the charm of Paris!    That's the hassle with the metro stations because not all stations have escalators or elevators unlike the bigger and more busier stations. But kung dalawang adults lang naman kayo I'd still go for the train/metro. 

Oh! By the way, make sure you always check where you walk. You might have some nasty surprise. Parisians love their dogs!

thanks for the reminder, mama squeak. saw the eiffel yesterday, arc de triomphe and champ elysees. we also did the siene river cruise, very relaxing. meron rin pala macarons ang mcdo dito. sarap rin. will try the Laduree tomorrow.

question, gaano ba kamura and LV bag sa Paris compared dito sa Pinas? nagpapabili sister ko, sabi ko baka not worth the hassle pag-nasita ng customs, and sabi ni sis m_lim mahaba daw ang pila sa store.

^I'm not so updated on local pricing for LV but I believe mas mura siya in France lalo if the Euro is low plus you can get tax refund. You can check xe.com/ucc for the exchange rate and the LV France store for the Euro prices. Also, there is a limit on what you can buy per day.
