maeka, i saw a maclaren twin stroller at mothercare in gb5. side by side din but i don't know what model. yu may want to check it out.

parang meron din akong nakita sa rustan's makati but not sure what brand.

My twins used the Maclaren Twin Techno stroller and another twin stroller (forgot the brand).  Both were the side-by-side type.  The Maclaren served us well for around 3 years, laspag na nga.

sis alam mo ba weight capacity each set?

So far, kasya pa ang twins ko, they're 16.5 kg and 17 kg, respectively.  But we don't really use it when we go out as they prefer to walk.   

I can say na sobrang sulit siya - it's very easy to maneuver, unfold (you can do it with one leg haha), set up, fold and pack in the trunk.

hi has anyone tried to ship a stroller from the US? it doesn't fit kasi the balikbayan box e... how much kaya pag ganun? ang cheap kasi sa websites nila, but i have no idea kung pa ship ko sa cousin ko from new york e same rin pala ang price kung bili from here na lang.

Hubby wants Quinny Zapp stroller! lightweight lang siya. Papabili ko din ito sa US then iuuwi na lang dito (mas mura kase compared when I check the price in SM). I'm getting siguro yung may promo na with Maxi Cosi and Diaper Bag na.

We did that with my son's Maclaren. What happened is that yung box ng trolley is considered as one balikbayan box na since irregular yung shape nya. 65USD ang bayad sa sea cargo and it took around a month or two yata bago makarating dito.

hi mga sis, we finally got a stroller for baby.  we were supposed to get  peg perego in rustans but then we saw the latest combi miracle turn so we got it.  it looks like this: http://loveinmybelly.blogspot.com/2010/08/our-babys-new-ride.html   it has a reversible handle to baby can face me and it has a shock free feature to protect baby from bumps and irregular floors or passage ways.  before i kind of wanted the combi urban walker but i mentioned that when i saw it in rustans i wasnt that impressed but the miracle turn dx is so nice im so excited!

I remember, when I gave birth to my son in the US more than 2 years ago Graco travel system ang super uso, most of the Mums in the mall puro naka-Graco. We brought home that stroller and carseat when we get back here and we never had the chance to use it for long, bulky kasi.

Kami naman, we got a blaCk peg perego pliko p3 from rustans i think 3 weeks ago. We were supposed to get the lower model si classico but after one last test drive of the 2, we decided that the pliko p3 is so much easier to handle, and it's peg perego's flagship model.

But we decided not to get the primo viaggo car seat/carrier na terno because it didn't come with a base for the car, order separately pa. 14k yung carrier plus about 3500 for the base, ang mahal na lalabas. Plus my friends said mas sulit to get a reversible car seat na lang.

^ i also find graco too bulky. Pati some chicco models are very bulky.

onga kime eh, mejo bulky talaga yung graco and pag naka-fold sya it would still take up a lot of space in our trunk. ayoko nga sana yung may car seat kaso the model that we want is out of stock na so we'll get one of those 3-in-1 na lang. ok na siguro at least as early as NB masasanay na sa car seat yung baby girl namin.

Yung carseat that came with it mga 3-4 months at most lang magagamit, Sis. Kasi makakalakihan agad ni baby. Can I suggest something? Why not buy an infant-toddler carseat tapos an infant-toddler Maclaren? Kasi ang naging case namin ganyan din, the Graco takes up most of the space sa trunk- whether sa sedan or SUVs and sa mall, ang hirap ipasok sa stores and idaan sa isles kasi malaki sya talaga. So from 5 months until now that my son is 2 1/2 years old Maclaren Triumph sya.


Anyhoo, ang mahal pala ng shipment ng Quinny papunta dito, inabot kami ng $100 dahil the box is big and irregularly-shaped.

There are some maclaren strollers on sale at rustans makati. There was a techno xlr at 20% off pero 2008 color pa. 17k na lang yata.

Our first choice was really a techno xlr but what we dont like about it is the frame. Yung design nya pag sinabitan ng bag sa handles parang babaliktad. I know the weight of the child will balance it naman but what if the child is not on the stroller? Tapos ang liit ng basket so tendency is you'll have an organizer or a bag hanging from the handles.

Good na lang talaga that peg peregos are available na here. The pliko p3 is a bit cheaper than the techno xlr.

^ nagpa-quote ako ng shipping ng stroller sa manila forwarders before and they quoted me din about $100. Halos same price na lalabas pag dito binili that's why we opted to buy from here.

^^ sis, i agree with kimebies. Get a reversible car seat na lang, good fro  newborn to about 3-4 years old. Mas sulit sya than na infant car seat/carrier na magagamit mo lang for a few months.

Problem lang talaga with Maclaren is that the basket underneath is really small, the nanny will still end up carrying the baby bag.

After my son outgrew the Graco carseat we got him a Recaro carseat which can be used from birth up to 4 years yata. Mas sulit sya talaga.

yun din ayaw ko sa maclaren namin noon.. too little space underneath.. and yun din yung same problem sa pram namin ngayon.. naoverlook ko ito.. hay..

just a warning on convertible car seats though... most don't fit newborns very well.
