we have maclaren quest from 6months up to now, the pink and brown combi. so far, eto lang ang tumagal talaga and napaka sturdy, lightweight and sobrang dali maneuver

*gulp* hindi ko kinaya to. ive seen stokke everywhere here pero i never thought of checking the price. masasaktan lang ako.

yung stroller ng baby ko, Baby First. i got it from SM. super mura lang sya (@ 2.8k +/-) but it seems sturdy naman. tsaka hindi 'chaka' yung itsura. i chose a design na hindi mukhang mumurahin lang, and maganda naman yung color combination (orange and dark blue). so far okay sya, hindi naman matagtag, hindi naman mukhang masisira anytime soon, coz weekends lang naman namin ginagamit, sa mall pa most of the time, so wala talagang ikakalaspag.

hindi na ako nag-isip bumili ng mahal na branded coz i am pretty sure sandali lang nya magagamit -- like now, at 5months, ayaw nya na dun. mas gusto nya carry ko sya. at least hindi nakakapanghinayang if hindi nya na masyado gamitin. mas manghihinayang pa ako if bumili ako ng stroller na worth 10k or something tapos di naman talaga masyado magagamit.

if masira man itong stroller anytime soon and kailanganin ko ng bago, i'll stick to Baby First, or Irdy. ganun ulit bibilhin ko, mas practical sa'kin yung ganun. 

 

Hi sis luvluv.I just thought of sharing my experience with you since I've noticed we have the same experience.Same with yours I didn't want to buy expensive stroller as much as possible (just being practical) for my 1st baby (which is now 2.5yo) Our first stroller was Graco (I forgot what model) but it can be used for NB till toddler so we thought it was a good buy.

But when my baby was still an infant her stroller was useless ,like your baby she also wanted me to carry her all the time although we still did bring her stroller with us everytime we go to mallfortunately her stroller became useful in carrying her diaper bag and our shopping bags.haha After a while we decided not to bring her stroller anymore.

When she learned how to walk we let her walked by herself,she was too anxious and excited to roam around at first.Eventually she finally started to look for her stroller maybe because she had learned how comfy it was to stay on a wheel when strolling in a mall.Since then we started to bring her stroller with us again.BUT!!! after a few months me and my husband thought of getting an umbrella type stroller 'coz the Graco we bought is a bit bulky so it takes a lot of space of our compartment and the stroller itself is also a bit heavy plus the weight of our baby so we guess it was the perfect time to shift into a smaller and light weight stroller.Again we bought an inexpensive stroller I think we only got it for 2,500php but after few months we had to change it because 1. the seat is fixed,we can't recline it so we were always worried when she feel asleep on it and might get stiff neck after and 2. there are no compartments made for the diaper bag and 3. because of it's poor quality.(argh!)

Now my daughter enjoys the ride of her CHICCO LITEWAY..and of course me and  my husband both like it too. It's very easy to use,has space under the seat for the diaper bag,very compact,easy to fold and release,heavy duty,can recline the seat (now we are not worried if our daughter sleeps on her stroller as long as she wants)and it has very  reasonable price.Now I can say this is really the GOOD BUY. Although we are expecting our 2nd baby on March so our old-but-in-very-good-condition Graco stroller  will be out again from the treasure chest  so it's still not "nasayang".yey!

hi sis aysa_reese,try to check chicco liteway,okay naman sya and not that expensive less than 10k lang pero matibay and comfortable si baby.

my son have graco, dunno what model coz it was bought year 2000 pa para sa eldest namin. di sya masyado nagamit kaya dito sa new baby parang bago pa rin. kaya lang hubby doesn't want to use it anymore, nalalakihan sya, paglagay sa car wala na space para sa ibang bagay.so we bought another one. Umbrella type lang and mura lang (2k+) but looks sturdy. Disney baby ang brand, fave kase ni baby si mickey mouse. Mukhang matibay naman,hindi naman kase madalas magamit kaya hindi na kami naghanap ng mamahalin.na-try na namin sa eldest ko, after a while ayaw na nila mag-stroller, mas prefer either carry sila or hawak lang pag walk.

Parang gusto ko yung Mothercare umbrella stroller.  Kaya lang parang mas useful sa amin yung full sized one.  I like it kasi nare-recline all the way and I can change my baby's nappy on it, anywhere.  Malaki rin ang space under the seat for baby's bags.  Kaya lang medyo mahirap dalhin pag nag-ta-travel sa malayo (esp if it involves plane rides).  Hmm... pero gusto ko talaga yung Mothercare.  Hehe.

Kaya we opted to buy a Bugaboo Bee.
- fully reclineable (can be used from newborn)
- reversible
- lightweight (a little over zapp)
- huge basket underneath
- big canopy
- very manueverable

talagang pinag aralan namin ni hubby ang ibat ibang strollers.

gawa ka din ng list mo sis tapos manood ka ng video review sa net. yung iba meron din sa youtube. favorite namin ni hubby si babygizmo. :p

^Thanks for the tips, sis emeenem!  Pero meron na kaming stroller.  Chicco.  Toddler na kasi ngayon si baby so iniisip ko if it's time to move her up to an umbrella stroller.  Pinag-iisipan ko yung Mothercare umbrella type kasi it's on sale.  Hehe.

di rin ako msyadong maalam sa models ng strollers e esp Maclaren. i have friends who has maclaren XLR.

you may want to try quinny zapp if you have a toddler for babies, buzz naman pero heavy weight itow! we let go of ours after 5 months of usage.

Mothercare has nice selection of umbrella-type strollers now ha, and it's really pocket-friendly. Uber-cute, too.

sis, we bought our maclaren here. we have quest sport. yung umbrella stroller yung binili namin sa walmart..$14 lang. generic and kahit masira ng airlines because of their handling ok lang. 

I was able to get the hinge covers for the maclaren from the distributor na.
