My husband works here and so far, very happy kami na he is working for a stable company.

Unilab knows how to take care of their employees.
may monthly rice ration, milk allowance if u have kids, sobrang ok din ng health/medical benefits nila.. e.g:p ag nanganak ka, covered ng company yun CS man or normal,...  covered vaccination ng babies, etc. pati retirees nila alaga pa dn ng company...

17.5 months din coverage ng salary mo.. sa iba 13th to 14th month pay lang.. with Unilab 17.5 months...

may profit sharing pa.. =)

xmas 2007 and 2008, nagbigay sila ng 10k and 13k GC to all their regular employees kasi maganda performance ng company. last year wala kasi di maganda performance.

and if assigned ka sa main offices, yung breakfast/lunch mo sagot ng company.. pipila ka lang sa cafeteria... kahit nga daw pamasahe lang dala mo, buhay ka na... =)

if sa sales ka, may service car ka, meal allowance, car and gas allowances, cellphone allowance meron ka.. plus incentives... you also get to travel abroad if your division hits your target...

sobrang bow talga ako with Unilab,, kasi kahit nga ako na wife nung nagtratrabaho grateful sa mga programs nila for their employees... pati family mo parang alaga... and they also provide quality and affordable healthcare for filipinos..

im sure there are a lot of companies na maganda din ang benefits... but all I can say is Unilab know how to make their employees happy...  kaya nga sabi nila UNILAB YAN!

Sorry if OT, not sure where to place my question. Is it a standard for some companies to do a background check on you before they offer anything? Is it ok to decline, say you don't want them to contact your current employer? TIA

I have a friend who used to work for this company. Sadly, that is not the kind of treatment she experienced probably not because of the company but her supervisor. It's sad to think that an employee ruins the good feedback of the company they're working for.
