sis, anong mga resort pa ang katabi ng kota na okay din? yung marlin ba saan banda yun, malapit din ba sa kota yan?

beside kota is budyong... yun cottages dito are like nipa huts w/ aircon, others have fan rooms.

aside from ogtong & kota, parang public beach na kasi itsura when you stay in other resorts. long stretch of beach, tapos the resorts are after the shoreline. beach area is public. kota is strategically located at the turn of the cove kaya mejo parang private yun itsura nya.

wala akong mobile number nila e. my aunt from cebu is the one who arranged my accomodation with kota, and sa email yun transactions namin before. i haven't stayed in budyong, pero mas maganda parin itsura ng cottage ng kota for me. and sa mga nakakausap kong locals dun, budyong is presyong backpackers. so don't expect much from the rooms nalang.

29-30 sis, overnight lang.. ngttake advantage lang ng holiday, d kasi pwede mawala ng matagal sa ofis kasi pagbalik eh tambak na.. hehe.. sana mkapagbook ako ng accom para wala na ako alalahanin..

i've tried na over night alng kami sa bantayan. nakakapagod nga.

we left the city late mid afternoon na kasi ang dami pa inasikaso ng papa ko. buti na lang naabutan namin yung last ferry going to batnayan, mga 530pm ata yun. dumating kami ng sta. fe beach club mga 7pm na ng gabi.

^hi sis tina maganda din don sa bantayan lalo na sa virgin island. dami pang dapat explore sa cebu like malapascua, kawasan falls & camotes island. sana may time na akong puntahan mga lugar na yon pag-uwi ko ng cebu.

oo nga e. wala pa sa kalingkingan napuntahan ko sa cebu. ayala center cebu lang pinuntahan ko, hahaha!

Yung kiosk malapit sa sandbar sa Kota Beach at yung mga beach side cottages sa Marlin ay dinemolish ng DENR.

It's a sad news Hindi man lang ako hinintay. I haven't seen them personally eh. My trip is next week pa. Sayang.

Sis siguro bawal [textspeak!] mga structures near sa beach areal. DENR are thinking long term. What if dumami ng sobra ng resorts at lahat magtayo ng kiosks near sa beach..

go straight to bantayan and enjoy the island, is my suggestion

since you're a big group, better hire a van to take you straight to the port. don't bother with van hires sa terminal, kasi tatagain kayo sa presyo. don't ride the ceres bus nadin, ugh worst 3 hours of my life yun it's better if you have a contact in cebu to look for a reasonable van for you. how big is your group pala? when we went there, we were 8 kasi tapos sakto lang sa isang innova... sa europecar nalang kami nag rent. the driver got us to the port in 2 hours more or less saves you precious beach time

you spend day 1 in the island, lounge lang sa beach. daytrip sa ogtong cave if you want. visit town & buy danggit. have buffet dinner.

spend day 2 at virgin beach. it's not in bantayan island. you have to rent a boat to go there. paradise, i must say snorkling lang ang chillax ang activities dun.

we are 15, big group talaga - gawa ng promo fare ng PAL   
will look for a van big enough for us, otherwise, have to rent 2 vans.  yeah . .  we're excited to go to virgin island . . . at least we can compare it with the virgin island of bohol (sa super ganda di ba?)

hello mga sis! Just came back from Bantayan. We were there Friday till Sunday. I'll post our expenses once matapos ko. hehe. It was a beautiful and serene island. I still love our trip despite the kagat ng jellyfish. hehe

And sis Tinapay is correct.... ang daming jelly fish sa Virgin Island. Hindi naman kami nabite sa Bantayan Island, but when we went to Virgin Island, as in, mga few minutes palang, ang dami ng kagat. huhuhu talaga, if only I can show you my tummy and arms. Hangang ngayon it's so itchy pa.

According to our guide, normal daw ang jellyfish pag June. Especially coming ang Feast ni St. JOhn and St. Peter.

@sis mayo, regarding jelly fish, swertehan lang siguro. hehe... sa aming 4, ako lang kasi ang nagka mark. ang iba kong mga kasama, though nakagat din sila but not visible.

About sa demolition naman, yup, true siya. As in, nakaka disbeauty ang mga rocks that served as sea wall dahil nagkalat sila especially sa Marlins na area. Malapit sa may sandbar. We stayed at MArlin's kasi, and its so disappointing to see concrete shades with halogen lights sana for night swimming, demolished. Kong ikaw ang may-ari, sayang talaga kasi mahal ang mga iyon. Sabi din ng mga taga Sta Fe, una lang daw sa list ang sa side ng Marlins and Kota, next in line naman yong ibang resort. I can only imagine Tristans, na solid na solid ang sea wall tapos gegebain lang. ay naku!

mga sis, my friends and i (3 lang kami) are going to bantayan island for an overnight trip. mura lang ba sa kota? DIY kasi kami and ako yun gumagawa ng IT.

2D, 2N lang kasi kami early morning ng july 16 then morning din ng july 18 balik namin ng manila.

gusto din kasi namin itry yun edge coaster kaya dapat yun second day asa cebu city na kami.

how much po ang room rates sa kota? i need to consider po kasi ang budget. thanks po

sisses! I just came from bantayan island! And omg, sobrang ganda parang hindi totoo promise! Super enjoy din sa virgin island,at last natuto ako magsnorkel!yes!

Nakatulong sobra na [textspeak!] friend ko ay tagacebu at nakapunta na sya dun. Sakay lang sa northbus terminal ng ceres bus papunta hagnaya. Di madalas [textspeak!] aircon kaya nagregular kami. Ang init at ang tagal pero 50 lang ang fare. Ang final drop off point at hagnaya port so u wont miss it.

Ferry from hagnaya to bantayan is 140 per pax. A ferry leaves every 30 mins.

From the port, pwede na sunduin ng shuttle ng resort if nagpareserve kau. Shempre di kami nagpareserve, kaya sakay kami pedicab. 10pesos per person.

Diretso kami budyong.[textspeak!] cottages rates depende kung beachfront, second line etc. Yung aircon good for 4 ay 1750. [textspeak!] beachfront for 2 people is 1500. Dun kami sa good 4 four pero tinawaran namin ng 1500.walang tv at ref.

Pero ang pinaka the best. Nag-inuman kami sa gilid ng daan at nameet namin ang anak ng mayari ng tristans. Super saya, 800 pesos lang ang aircon room sa kanila.so lipat kami!
