Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan, I'm raving about this series! It's really really really good. This is officially one of the best series that I've read.

Ang galing no? What I like about it are the surprises that unfolds every time magtatapos yung book. And then nasasagot yung mga mysteries before the book ends, except for the main prophecy. Enjoy, the last 2 books are awesome!

Wala lang check lang the best sellers list sa national then downloaded the ebook...Ganda talaga...By the way, may movie na...i saw sa papers..Book 1 The lightning thief..hehe....kita ko lang sa poster si Uma Thurman...hmmmm sino kaya ang ika-cast as Percy Jackson?

I actually saw the trailer when we watched New Moon last Nov, that was when I borrowed the books at the library kasi na-intrigue ako sa plots. I love Greek Mythology. Logan Lermen (new star) will be Percy, Uma Thurman I think is Auntie Em (Medusa) and then Pierce Brosnan will be Chiron, Kevin McKidd (Dr. Owen Hunt in Grey's Anatomy) will be Poseidon (which imo hindi bagay!) Enjoy the last book, it was a blast!

it's Greek mythology in the current time.  di ba the gods are immortals?  so they're still "alive" up to now.  also, the gods still have kids around and one of them is percy jackson

ano pong ok na books for pre-teens?my nephew is 11yrs old,gusto ko sana syang bigyan ng books to read..actually meron na syang harry potter..what else kaya?

just finished Perfect by Judith McNaught - - - recommend you reading this!!!!  i don't like romantic plots pero this one is not cheesy at all!!! sooooo nice!!

^ that's my favorite J. McNaught book.  I wanna read it again just to see "how I've changed."  Possible kasing di ko na sya magustuhan ngayon.  I read it when I was 17 y.o. and I haven't read much in that genre since college.   But yes, it must be good, because after reading Perfect, I bought every McNaught book available. hehe

^ sis, yung Percy Jackson series is for young adults.  Meron ding thread dito na Young Adult Recommendations.  Check mo na lang  

Pero ako, nung panahon ko, I read the Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, etc series.
