can you please cite an example na isang showbiz personality na according to you "nambabastos din?"
bata na tinuturuan mambara? i am a parent and i wouldn't teach my kids to do that, its very disrespectful. ang point dito sis, hindi yung hindi lang si VG and gumagawa ng ganitong act, kaya lang
VG is a personality nasa showbiz siya so we never compare ordinary kids/bata na namababara sa isang showbiz personality na sikat at nag concert pa sa araneta.

and my point here is... bakit masyadong sensationalized? kung di ba nagreact ng ganun ang media.. may papansin ba sa video? ang nakakaalam lang nun.. mga nanood ng concert and nagbayad ng payperview...

US Presidents are no pushovers. Most (haha) of them have high intellects, and all of them are highly regarded all over the world. Of course, there's also that moniker "most powerful man" in the world. Yet, when they are made fun of by their own comedians, they don't lose their cool, even though they have all the power to get mad. Why don't they? Because they know they're all jokes, and they'd just look smaller for even reacting. I know a lot of you won't agree with me on this one, that's because we're all Filipinos, but the reactions to Vice Ganda's shots on JSoho are again so overboard. I understand, Filipino values ek ek. But sheesh, anong petsa na? Get with the program, get your mentalities out of your caves. Words are wind, anyway.

i think it's a good thing that this issue was brought to light para malaman ni vice ganda, at ng publiko, na  rape should never, ever be the subject of a joke. it is a violent crime, and is a much too sensitive topic to be made light of.

sikat si vice ganda, madami nanonood ng concerts and shows niya, a lot of people look up to him (just read the tweets of his fans defending him on twitter, kaloka talaga.). with great power comes great responsibility. i don't think it's asking too much to expect a little more sensitivity from him.

kung sa US nangyari ito, mas grabe pa ang reaction ng mga tao. just look at isaiah washington when he called a co-star in gray's anatomy a f@$got, or michael richards of seinfeld fame who called an audience member a n^%ger during a show at a comedy club. or mel gibson when he made some anti-semitic remarks to some cops and those were caught on tape. di na sila naka-recover.

Exactly! Americans are also very P.C, baka nga way more PC than us Pinoys. Make a rape joke, and you'll surely get  flak for it. Case in point: Daniel Tosh!

^yes, i must agree. it is wrong to see Filipinos as too traditionalist just because we can't take issues like this. I think, no country, as wild as its citizens are, could ever acknowledge rape as a subject of humor. US Presidents are mocked, yes, but wala naman sigurong US president na napagsabihan na na-rape and people made fun of it.

and also, should we just tolerate this kind of jokes just because it is 'in'? i dont think so.

dapat kasi di na lang nagdrop name si vice..or yung mga siguradong tatawa na lang din ang niloko niya..i always watch GGV and lage naman niyang nilalait dun yung isang friend niyang stand up comedian din na parang pinapasikat niya, and its ok.ok lang tignan kasi tumatawa din yung niloloko niya kahit sinasabihan pa niya ng maitim, kulot, negra,etc.dun mo malalaman na joke lang talaga yun,parang regular na biruan na nila yun kase pareho silang tumatawa at nakikitawa na lang din yung audience.. pero yun kay JS ibang usapan na..kasi hindi naman sila close and yet medyo maselan pa yung joke na binato niya..kung yung weight joke lang ang titignan, baka naintindihan pa ni JS(tingin ko lang naman) kasi madalas na yan na gawing biruan pero yung rape thing,below the belt na yun.kase hindi nga sila close para ijoke niya ng ganun si JS.

This should not only have an effect on Vice Ganda but to his staff also. I'm sure that material - joke went through his creative team also for review kung nakakatawa ba. Dapat hindi lang kung funny or not ang standard nila but also kung politically correct ba yung joke. Any joke made in the expense of someone else is not funny anymore. Offensive na. Kung ang joke eh self deprecating eh funny pa kasi the "joker" is making fun of himself and not others. Golden rule lang din whether comedian or maglalako ng taho, parepareho tayong tao me dignidad at damdamin...

kung hindi si jessica soho ang laman ng joke, papansinin ba to ng gma? rape joke nga ba ang totoong issue dito? o napikon lang si jessica soho kaya nagreact siya ng ganon at ginagamit nya lang ang rape joke na yun para hindi siya masabihan na pikon? hindi na dapat pinatulan ng gma to eh, sa totoo lang.

at napansin ko, ang dami nakikisawsaw sa issue na to. ang daming nagmamalinis. i'm sure sila mismo natawa din sa joke na yan at sa iba pang rape joke na naririnig nila.

Really maraming natawa sa jokes niya about it and nagmamalinis ngayon?  When I watched the video last night, kinilabutan ko, paulit-ulit niya sinabi ang Jessica Soho.  Hindi naman ginagawa ng mga taga GMA mang-okray ng taga Dos after the Willie-Joey episodes.    Siguro ang nagparating niyan sa GMA news people, isa sa mga nakanood ng concert niya na di ma-take yung joke niya.

Tama naman si Igan na papatulan niya to kasi baka may susunod pang biktimahin ng panlalait.  And since when did 'panlalait' become funny?

^ i think yung mga bibili ng ticket for that concert ay yung mga taong kilala kung pano mag joke si VG... and if you watch the video.. dami naman talaga natawa...
so to answer your question, yes may maraming mga natawa (not unless yun mga tawa sa video na pinakita is taped din..)

just like what sis lytblue said.. kung di ba si JS ang ginamit ni VG.. ganun din reaction ng GMA news people?
