additional info just incase your anti-rabies is on the same month as your flight make sure na it's 14 days after the anti-rabies shot kayo mag travel binilang kase yung sa amin cause it was on the same month good thing lampas na ng 14 days. we're safe in davao. thank god the flight crew were so nice they took care of my 2 babies. landed safe&alive in davao city.

anybody here na naka experience na ng in cabin with their pets?
pwede ba silang ilabas sa kennel if they feel discomfort?
pano oag maingay/ tahol sila inside their kennel? may fee ba ? hehe

alam ko sis mahirap dalhin abroad ang pets like dogs, madaming health tests, papers chaka ika-quarantine sila for more than a month so kawawa... Yung dog kasi ng cousin ko gusto sana i-adopt nung mom nila sa states pero dahil nga masyadong madugo ang proseso, hindi natuloy.

I agree with sis enilec, madugo nga ang process. i have a friend in london na nagkwento sakin about bringing Ph dogs to other countries, lalo pag western countries, malalayo daw sayo ang pets mo for months due to quarantine. strict kasi sila sa health condition ng dog at yung ibang bansa rabies and virus free kaya super ingat sa importation of animals. My dog din sya dito na gusto sana syang isama for vacation kaso di natutuloy.

Makati Dog and Cat Hospital (just behind Rockwell, very near Makati Avenue) can help you with pet migration, sis. I'm not sure, but I think they're one of the few vets accredited/suggested by the American Embassy to assist their nationals who have pets when relocating to/from the Philippines.

I have asked them about it previously -- it's true that the process is lengthy (and pricey), but if you are determined, it is doable. When I asked Ate Myla, one of the receptionists, about it, she just asked the destination country and then rattled off the requirements off the top of her head.  Alam na alam.

Oh, and not all airlines are created equal with respect to pet travel. Some require that the pet be in the cargo section, no matter the size of the pet (e.g., Cathay Pacific). Some allow small pets in the cabin along with owner (e.g., Korean Air), just as long as the pet is in a carrier.

Hello mga sis, share ko lang last year inuwi ko sa pinas yung dog namin from middle east.
Requirements are:
Updated vaccination card
Export permit
Import permit, makukuha to sa Bureau of Animal Industry (100pesos only)
Valid health certificate by a duly licensed veterinarian.
Napamahal lang kami sa airport fee.

When we ask kung ano requirements pabalik same lang daw need lang uli ng import and export permit.
