maybelline baby lips cherry velvet gamit ko (yung hindi nagco-color sa lips and hindi glossy) pang hydrate and repair lang talaga. it has spf na for protection din. super effective nito in my case.

before i lather petroleum jelly sa lips ko mga 1hour before i brush teeth and then i brush gently din my lips para maexfoliate and matanggal chaps. pero i found baby lips more convenient gamitin. after 6-8 hours i reapply lang. wala pang 1 week ko sya nagamit ganda na ng lips ko. less lines and hindi nannagcha-chap.

in terms of turning your lips to some pinkish hue, it also gets the job done. smoker ako before pero mga 1yr na siguro ako nag stop. exfoliation ng lips helped pero baby lips mas mabilis makapag restore ng color.

Dior Lip Glow Color Awakening Balm works for my sister whose lips are naturally dark (non-smoker). Morena kasi siya and dark lips din. It turns her lips into a natural pink hue. Eventually, naglighten na rin even if hindi gamit yun lip glow.

Hi Sisses! Question lang... Anyone who tried chemical peels for dark lips? I went to a derma who said that she can do a very mild peel on my dark lips. Na-co-conscious na kasi ako, para akong smoker, e hindi naman ako nag-smoke sa tanang buhay ko. TIA!

@ sis maogirl: I haven't heard about mild peel for lips, but if your derma says so, maybe it's been proven and tested for dark lips. But I suggest you get a 2nd opinion with another derma and get her take on your problem. Also, have you considered getting a lip tattoo? Maybe that's an option if you don't want to apply lipstick or lip color everytime. I had friends that had lip tattoo and they look good; thinking of getting one soon.

^^ I had a mild nano peel on my lips, 3x and the peels lightened my dark lips. But there was a derma before who did a "mild" chemical peel on my lips prior to the nano peel that I had and it was a disaster; it itched so bad that I unconsciously scratched it in my sleep so nagkasugat-sugat. So my advice is, choose the right derma. Mahirap nang magkamali since it's your face on the line.

Try applying milk and leave it on for 15 minutes. Parang may dry feeling sya after then apply lipbalm. Been doing this for 2 weeks and mas naging pinkish lower lip ko.

I'm currently taking chelated iron I bought from HO. Ang nababasa ko kasi baka daw iron deficiency ang cause ng dark lips. Effective kaya?

I had been using Human Heart Nature's Sunflower Beauty Oil on my entire face (including lips) and body for a week, and it made my lips cracked and super dry, and to think I also put on sunblock and petroleum jelly afterwards (which are my staples). I immediately stopped using the oil, but my lips just kept on peeling (to the point that it bled) for another week before it finally recovered. I swear I won't let it get anywhere near my lips again!

I'm using dodora for 3 months na and i really am not impressed with it's lightening properties. What it actually does is to give that pink tint that creates the illusion of evenly colored lips but none of it's promise na mag-lighten talaga. Pero for a tint, it's actually good kasi it lasts all day and it looks really natural.

dumb moment, kaka-order ko lang sa officemate kong nag-ooffer ng dodora na ito. after ko umorder
saka ko lang naisipan tumingin ng reviews. and hindi maganda yung nabasa ko huhu!
