maurm78, your daughter's party was fabulous! love the unique theme! so cool--literally and figuratively. the colors are so nice and your little girl is very pretty. 

i want din sana a big and creative party for my daughter who's turning 7 in june next year. i've been saving up for it since she turned one. but then she has already decided on a jollibee party. and knowing my daughter, she will not change her mind. if that's what she wants, then that's exactly what i'll give her.

tapos kung may dessert bar ka, you can put umbrella toothpicks sa mga sweets mo...

sa cake naman you can ask the cakemaker to make a hawaiian cake theme with matching sand pa...

my daughter will be celebrating her 7th birthday on august next year pero as early as now nagsimula na ko magplan..
gusto ko lang sana humingi ng opinion kung okay ba yung naisip kong theme... Fashion show sana yung gusto ko since she really likes dressing up and collecting accessories, a typical kikay kid
 i want it to be kakaiba, not the usual birthday party that we are used to having. walang games, kung meron man konte lang talaga. side entertainment will be kiddie salon, nail art, face painting, lahat ng kids magpapaayos...kasama sa plan naming mag asawa yung magpagawa ng runway at yung stage design parang pang fashion show talaga...lahat ng kids magpaparticipate sa finale, each kid will walk on the runway to show off their new look after ng makeover sa kiddie salon...para kaseng nakakatuwa para sa ating mga moms na makita yung anak natin nagmomodel
 iniisip ko dagdagan na [textspeak!] yung entertainment (ventrillusion ni wanlu, the jive) in lieu of games..ano pa kaya pwede?
my concern lang is hindi kaya maging boring to para sa mga kids kase nga walang games?
appropriate kaya sa age nila yung ganitong theme?
please help...TIA

we will be having almost the same theme next year ;-) with us, we have secured na hindi mabo-bore ang mga kids kasi kahit walang games, we will make it a point na marami pa rin silang maiuuwi and a lot of new experiences ;-)

okay yung marami silang mapapanood pero find a way na masingitan ito ng something for them to get excited kasi may makukuha sila along the way. 

if it would be a full entertainment style, dapat very organized din yung program and wag hahayaang magkaroon ng idle time.

mas maganda rin kung yung fashion show eh hindi lang yung nagawang make over ang idi-display... mas ok kung may official fashion show talaga na fully rehearsed.. tapos baka may mga friend ka na nagbi-benta ng mga children's wear na willing mag-sponsor at magpahiram ng mga damit... just like the actual fashion show na ginagawa ng mga nasa clothing business...

i am thinking of giving all the kids who will be participating in the fashion show prizes bukod pa sa mga souvenirs..suggestion din ni hubby na magbigay ng awards and prizes sa mga kids na performance level ang pag rampa

you are right, full entertainment talaga ang style kaya malamang kailangan ko nga ng magaling gumawa ng program.

yung rehearsed fashion show naman palagay ko mahihirapan ako kase hassle pa sa mga kids and moms kung magseset ako ng date for the rehearsal.

love ko yung idea mo na bibihisan din sila just like in a real fashion show kaya lang baka himatayin si coki kung sasabihin ko pa na kelangan namin bilihan ng outfit each kid kase mahihirapan ako maghanap ng magpapahiram...kung tipong mga 50 kids ang aattend lahat sila kelangan namin bilihan..sa outfit pa lang gagastos na kame ng more or less 50k..aray ko!   makahanap man sya ng sponsor sigurado konte lang yung ibibigay. parang mapapasubo ako ng bonggang bongga sa theme na ito.

naku.. akala mo lang mahirap ang rehearsed... pero since your child is turning 7 na, i am sure nag-aaral na siya..

di ba pag may mga program sa school, naglalabasan ang mga stage moms?  he-he... ganyan din outside the school... pag nalamang matatamaan ng limelight ang mga anak natin, go na go tayo...

kung walang sponsor na makikita, you can try checking out kung sino talaga yung mga game na parents na gustong isama sa fashion show ang anak at willing mag-provide ng sariling mga outfit para sa mga anak nila... just give each an assignment... kasi pag fashion show, boring naman kung isang set of outfit lang ang gagamitin... mas maganda kung at least 2...

say, seven participants, sports wear and sleep wear... then another set of participants, casual and party outfits... parang ganun... so kung ako yung mother, either buy ako ng new or hanap ako sa closet niya kung ano ang puwede... choice ko na yun kasi gusto kong isali ang anak ko eh.. sayang din ang exposure...

para di naman ma-left out ang anak mo, you just need to think of something para mag-outstand siya... like, everytime na lalabas siya, meron siyang wings... or say, sleep wear, require mo na dapat lahat printed... tapos anak mo lang ang naka-plain.

May parang cotillon de honor akong plan sa b-day ng eldest ko. gusto daw nya may dance. Siguro di ko na need ng clowns,magicians or other entertainment? Gusto ko kasi talagang full blast ang attention sa kanya bec. its her day naman. Kiddie salon at photobooth lang po ang plan ko na side entertainment. May 2-3 na foodcarts din.
Ok na kaya yun? hindi kaya boring?

^^Sis, how about games? May games kaba na hinanda for the kids? POV ko lang sis, ako nabobored ako sa mga cotillon... ang haba kasi eh much more ang mga kids hindi din nila ito masyadong naiineenjoy.

Food yung #1 na importante sa Birthday and I think 2nd is yung entertainment, but I think yung Kiddie salon mo mageenjoy naman yung mga girls dun, they love kikay stuff kasi dba

I have started last year pa yung guest list namin.. he-he.. Naloloka ako sa laki ng lahi nila Dada and laki ng lahi namin... ha-ha.. mother side pa lang namin yun... wala pa yung sa father side...

Hopefully ma-finalize ko na ito before this month ends... though i won't have a problem anymore with our chosen venue... we choose something big talaga kasi may mga plans kaming gawin na side entertainment... or should i say, pre-program activities.

shocks, after our wedding kagastusan eto naman pala need ko bunuin.. waahh my daughter will be turning 7 this May na.. sana meron pa budget kasi like ko meron sana sya cotillion de honor or yang fashion show effects na suggestions ninyo...
