share ko lang po. my cousin will be celebrating din kase her 7th birthday. congo grille ang venue. around 80-90 pax ang tentative guests. food and bev costs 24k.

Just wanna find out if most parents are really into having a party on the 7th birthday of their child. Nowadays, bonga ang mga 7th birthday party. Im thinking of instead of spending a grand party for my daughter, why not give her a gift like trip to US or other country. I asked my daughter about this and she said she likes the idea. 

Kayo mommies, what do you prefer ba? If you are into 7th birthday parties, what are your 7th birthday party themes or ideas?

^ i know sis. grabe na nga ang 7th birthday ngayon. as in parang debut na. I remember sa schooll lang ako nag 7th birthday party dati. hehe.. pero ngayon, engrande na talaga. i like your idea. pero depende pa din sa bata, some kids kasi preferred to have a party pa din with friends and relatives diba?

As early as now I'm planning na for my daughter's 7th Birthday (it will be on 3rd week of Oct. )... she like parties kasi that's why as early as now din she's asking me na what kind of cake I will bake for her... she likes big cakes daw on her birthday

My hubby is in US, mas magandang mag visit kami sa daddy niya compared sa magcelebrate siya dito, It would be much fun BUT it's not possible kasi ongoing ang petition namin so the only choice I got is to make her happy even if his dad is not around (daddy's girl kasi) by giving her a nice party that makes her sooo happy.

Theme: Barbie goes to Paris.... Barbie loves to travel....
I can't decide pa talaga what theme kasi I want to make a passport invites sana kaya lang nahihirapan ako magisip ng theme but definitely it will be BARBIE.

An out of the country trip  is a nice option for a 7th bday celebration. But in my opinion sis, you can always bring your daughter out of the country anytime on other occasions like summer or Christmas, and she'll have a same excitement, but the 7th bday ,  is  always best celebrated with family and friends. But if your daughter prefers a trip, that's well and good. Pabor sa yo yun , kasi less ang preparations sa travel, kesa sa party.

as for me I prefer out of country celebration for my daughter, but then my daughter prefer to have a 7th birthday party, she has conceptualized her birthday, and I gave it to her. She wanted to have a Spongebob house party. We celebrated the party at home, and she had so much fun... And we'll be going to an out-of-country(in Singapore)  tour by June nalang, since my nephew (live in Singapore) will be celebrating his 1st birthday.

i agree with mommyshek we can go out of country some other time. Birthday is best celebrated with people close to his/her heart. Or it depends to your child kung ano ang gusto nya for her/his 7th bday.

My husband really wanted to go on a trip abroad again instead of having a big 7th bday party for our daughter, Mapilit lang talaga ako kasi babae and isang beses lang naman mg-7. Magastos na talaga ang parties ngayon.

Pag-nasstress nga ako sa party preps my husband would look at me in a way na parang "I told you so" hehe. Pero It's all worth it, it reflects on her. My daughter is really excited  for her upcoming day, meron pa syang count down. Iba ang 7th bday, kasi this time they could add their inputs and what they want for the party, now they can also invite whoever they want.  My daughter invited all her teachers (now and then)and classmates, she was the one who gave out the invites at school and super happy and excited sya dun pa lang.

Same with other moms in this thread. We can always go abroad next time so baka sa Christmas na lang. On her special day, madaming friends, classmates, relatives and gifts and I'm sure it'll be memorable for her.

we let our daughter decide on this one since she's old enough na to have her own preferences... she's now 5 years old pero as early as last year, may mga ideas na siya on how she'd like her 7th bday to be done... at present, it's more of putting those ideas together na lang and finding out kung possible nga ba or hindi... slowly, may mga kinokontak na rin kaming suppliers and talents...

june celebrant kasi siya so medyo kailangan talaga ng early booking... most of the talents kasi, 6 to 3 months the least ang acceptance ng booking for kiddie parties... pero pag wedding, 1 year to 6 months, so kahit ano ang mangyari, may possibility na maunahan pa rin kami ng mga weddings... yung iba, natatakot pang i-accept yung booking namin... but we always tell them na we are not after their present rate, but we are after the assurance na they will be available on our target date...

by january 2011, full blast na talaga ng preparation... and we are very much excited kasi idea niya talaga ito... we are just helping her organize her thoughts.

Im so excited for my daughter carmela's 7th birthday usually kasi sa house sya nagpaparty. di pa nya na try magparty sa labas ng house. last year super tipid hehe sa macapagal active fun lang kami and sice walang tao ahahah kala mo inarkila.super enjoy sila magkapatid.i'm planning her birthday 2 years ago na hahahaha para maganda sana kalabas lol. so far meron na nabook na iba waaaaah gatos sana makaraos.. sasabay ko din birthday ng father ko n uncle ahha tipid december kasi dami me birthday sa amin:0 super excited na sya. and hoping by june done na ako sa lahat )

i'm getting excited for my daughter's 7th bday party this october, na kahit feb pa lang i'm already reading all about party preparations here in gt  i really plan on giving her a party she will always remember kasi she's my youngest & besides, she's fond of "partying" around
