Priceless

Lesson learned?

That closure is overrated. If you don't have it, if it can't be given, so what? It's not going to bring the relationship back. Bonus lang ang closure. Kahit wala, it shouldn't stop you from moving on.

Sometimes you don't need closure, all you need to do is to move forward especially when he/she has left you.

Planning to meet just to talk about that "closure" is a waste of time and energy.

Know where you stand.
Do your best to save the relationship if it's worth keeping, so you wont have any regrets or what ifs. We only have one life, better make the most of it and be happy.

that's what I did. I held my pride. I fought for him and blurted out how much I love him and wanted him to stay.
He stayed. With me. 8 years and counting. :)

Heartache is the worst ache.  Not toothache.

Sex is important.  (but i don't believe in that)

You can't teach yourself to forget.

Playing computer games can help you mend a broken heart.  Just make sure you don't stop playing.

Songs would be much more meaningful after a heartbreak.

When someone leaves you, it doesn't necessarily mean that something's wrong with you.

No matter how much you miss someone, you have to refrain from contacting them.

The 'break-up diet' is the cheapest and most effective diet.

Your love for someone could vanish overnight because of physical attraction to someone else.

No one dies of a broken heart.

People, just like trash, can be thrown away.  ANYTIME.

I learned that whatever happens, I have my daughter with me. Instead of focusing on the heartache, I focus on my work and my baby. Yung plans ko, para saming 2, to travel when she grows up na :)

Nothing lasts forever.
Enjoy the moment.
Expect nothing.

Never make your partner your whole world. Remember that you are your own person so loving yourself is as important as loving your partner - this is one thing most people usually forget. Once the love bug has bitten us, all is forgotten and we all become slaves of the emotion. The truth hurts indeed. Another thing I've learned, regrets should never arise after a break up because we have to remember that everything we did (within that relationship) is something we liked, something we chose and something we; at some point, really enjoyed.

Finally, always believe your intuition. A hunch may be a lead but we sure should know how to validate it to become vindicated if in case - things wouldn't fall into palce.

Based on my own experience, since we broke up almost 2 months ago. Nung naisip ko un, I realized na if ever the right man comes or kung magkakabalikan man kame in the future, I know na may natutunan talaga ako and I've grown enough to handle a relationship in a more matured manner. I must admit na I the type of girlfriend na moody, maarte, gusto lageng sinusuyo at nilalambing kahit pa ako pa may kasalanan sa away namen w/c proves na I'm immature at that time. But after all, I've gone through. I've learned a lot. Never take your partner for granted. Wag magsasawang gawin yung mga "sweet" na bagay na ginagawa mo for him lalo na nung bago pa lang kayo. Sabe nga, you can make everyday a Valentine's Day. ;) Wag magiging kampante sa partner. Ang naging way of thinking ko kase noon, is dahil mahal nya ko, he would accept me who I am at kahit ano man maging ichura or figure ko pero mali. Always have something new about yourself everyday. I also learned na if may problem kayo, mas okay na you would talk about it amongst yourselves first. Hangga't maayos nyo, kayo na lang. Never argue over networking sites kase pagfifiestahan lang ang issue nyo dun. You can come to a close/best friend of yours or someone na pinagkakatiwalaan ninyo ng partner mo para hinde maging bias ang advice. You can listen to your friends' advices but at the end of the day, ikaw/kayo pa den ang masusunod. Also, never nag. Kase pag galit kayo, walang maaayos and you can make decisions na pwedeng iregret mo habang buhay. Hmm, so far marame na rin pala akong natutunan even though right now, I'm still hoping na magkakabalikan kame ni Ex kahit may iba nang involved. :( I know I need to move on at gusto ko nang gawin un. Cos I deserve someone better and I also want that someone to be deserving of me as well. ^^

^^OMG!

Also, tama wag papabayaan ang sarili. Naging complacent din ako noon thinking na since matagal na kami mahal na nya ko for who I really am. Tumaba ako and napabayaan ko sarili ko which is so wrong.
