I've learned that you should get out of a relationship if love is no longer there. Kasi in the end, if he breaks up with you, you'll feel really bad kasi pati ego mo nasaling.

I said this kasi I've tried several, numerous attempts to break up with him pero never syang pumayag so I gave in hanggang umabot ang relationship namin ng more than a year. I stayed kasi natatakot akong maging single, pero sa bandang huli I ended up with a broken heart and a bruised ego, worse than being single by choice.

Kaya I've learned na next time I get into a relationship, I'll be more firm with my decisions and that I should really love the person I will be with.

I agree. That's why I don't believe in second chances anymore.

Number one will always be number one. never enter into an illicit relationship. lagi kang talo dyan. masaya lang sa umpisa pero sa huli kaw lagi talo.

Love yourself first. :)

Stick to your values.

Never let the relationship "eat" you. Go out with your friends. Make time with your family. Nurture other relationships that you have.

Commit sincerely.
It was a 4 year relationship. The weird thing is I feel so "neutral". Parang walang nangyari. Hindi naman indifferent. Maybe i fell out a long time ago...

i super agree with these. im on the same situation right now. ilan beses ako nag attempt na iwan sya kasi i know and i feel na may iba na, iba na feelings nya. but then again lagi ako naniwala sa mga panloloko nya.

ngayon ako pa sinisisi nya bakit nagka nega impression sya sa babae bago nya gusto pormahan. and also the reason why he broke up with me. at first din nya sinabi yun totoo, and nalaman ko nalang sya by accident at ang sakit sakit.

guys are all the same. yun ginawa at mga sinabi nya sakin dati. ganun na ganun din ang sinasabi nya mga papuri sa new girl nya para lang ma insulto ako. pero sorry. awa sa kanya nararamdaman ko. pero im still hurting not because of loosing him. but believing in all his lies.

Wag mo pakita na masyado mo siyang love. He will just take you for granted.

i've learned na wag maging bitter, ikaw lang ang talo. nasayo ang stress, pagod kakaisip, konsumisyon, lahat.

deal with the pain in a positive manner. reinvent yourself, explore more life into your life diba. how you can live a much more better life.

this is what i did when i broke up with my ex na sobrang nagparamdam sakin ng emotional intimacy. i did not focus on hatred, instead i focused on a bigger and brighter future para sa SARILI ko. maiinis ako, ako talo. because no matter how angry i may be, wala, he's out there, happy siguro. ganun lang, i told myself, may respeto ako sa sarili ko, may respeto ako sa sarili ko.. bakit ako mammroblema eh buhay nya yun, eto buhay ko, pahahalagahan ko. :)

then i found myself a new man and a real one. ganun lang yun, you close one door, another one opens, yun lang, this time, it's much better than before. kasi you can handle yourself even better eh.

So true. Self-respect pinakamahalaga. Hindi matatapos dahil bawat gawin mo, i-aassociate mo sa revenge with the guy.

1. Hindi mo dapat sabihin sa boyfriend/girlfriend mo na magbago sya para sayo. Dapat kung magbabago sya para sa sarili nya hindi para sayo.

2. Dapat parehas kayo nagmamahal. Hndi pwedeng pseudo. Magsasawa ka din in the end.

3. walang manloloko kapag walang magpapaloko

4. Love yourself first

1. Umiyak ng 1-2 weeks AT NO CONTACT sa guy (burahin number, burahin chat id para walang temptation)

2. 3rd week, Magpaganda na.

never to give your all...magtira para sa sarili...never compromise each other's personal space of interests and improvements para lang sa what we call "basta magkasama kami"

in short, never allow your partner to be the center of your universe kasi if things would not turn out as what you expected..you feel like it's the end of everything :) ang hirap bumawi :(

mine was not really a break up because we weren't bf/gf but we were almost like that na rin, kulang na lang commitment but then he SUDDENLY left me for his ex.

now i'm so having a hard time to cope, because he's my barkada pa and i see him everyday.  :'(

lesson learned: wag masyadong mainlove, lalo na pag di pa kayo commited and never assume na just because he said i love you na and nagkiss na kayo, magiging kayo.  :-\

"Trust is the easiest thing in the world to lose, and the hardest thing in the world to get back." - R. Williams

i used to be active in the Wedding Forum, initially... 1st scheduled wedding was august 28, 2010... then it was moved to february 19, 2011 still in caleruega... unfortunately, groom to be had sooo many problems like family and finances, so i had to give up my dream wedding in tagaytay. we both agreed to be civilly wed on october 20, 2010. so that does it.

its just normal for couples to encounter problems left and right. one of our major major problems is my family. i was in the middle of conflict between my family and my h2b. they kept on saying that h2b is not totally honest with me, that they are sure that he's just making some things up just to impress me. stuffs like that. i thought it was senseless of them to judge the person just like that, they don't even know the guy! well... i told them to trust me, and let me decide since i'm already old enough to understand and know what's right and wrong for me (and my daughter).

anyways, to cut the long story short...  i realized that my family was right after all. I DIDN'T KNOW THE GUY! i was blinded by the idea that i want to be married to him, since we were HS classmates, i never thought he could INVENT STORIES that never happened!  He was a LIAR! he misled me. he was dishonest, and never thought of confessing it to me... i trusted him, and he broke that trust (and i only got the information from his mom). and for me, repairing a broken trust is very difficult. i just cannot forgive him for that.
