Sis, malapit to sa bus stop in Lipa City.  The stores are just right across each other.  There's also Starbucks around the corner.  If inside the town itself, there's also McDonalds (right across the Cathedral) and Jollibee (a little farther away, down just one block i think). Hope this helps.

just got back from La Luz. haaaay super sarap magbakasyon.

contrary sa mga nabasa kong blogs, masarap ang food nila. nasira nga diet namin ni hubby kasi ang dami talaga namin nakain. nasulit namin buffet every meal time

if you want rest and relaxation talaga, la luz is perfect kasi tahimik. walang night life, walang TV, walang maingay sa lugar. super pahinga talaga. sarap!

natuloy kami yesterday sa White Cove, day trip lang. the place itself wala kong masabi. ang ganda, malinis, ok ang CR. fully booked nga mga rooms. na-disappoint kami sa beach  medyo madumi. yung stretch ng Laiya beach nilakad namin, medyo madumi talaga. tapos ang lakas ng alon, hinde nakaligo ng husto yung mga pamangkin ko buti na lang may pool sa katabing resort, nag over the bakod kami. hinde advisable pumunta ng ganitong month kung gusto nyo magbabad sa beach. hangin habagat na daw kase.

true, jan din sa white cove kame pumunta august last year.  murky ang waters,  may mga plastic pa ng chichirya  dun sa sea, plus mga sanga galing sa puno.

palagay ko buong shore ng laiya yung madumi. nilakad namin hanggang sa dulo dami ko nakikitang dumi. malinis pa nga ata yung sa white cove kase nasa dulo sya.

hi mga sis! Minsan try nro rin sa Tanauan, Batangas. Nag-stay kame sa Tanawan Beach Resort.  Affordable saka comfortable yung mga rooms. Saka pede rin magluto. Medyo black nga lang [textspeak!] sand nila. Pero maganda kasi dun is [textspeak!] Balsa. Nagpunta kame dun last May, and super nag enjoy kame lalo na mga kids. Yung mom ko nga, ang sabi sa lahat ng family outing namen nagun lang sya nag-enjoy ng bongga! Kasi since nasa balsa nga, anytime gusto mag swim, baba ka lang, pag ayaw mo na, akyat ka lang. Dun na rin kame nag-grill ng ulam namen. Basta masaya! Tapos mababait pa [textspeak!] mga staff sa resort.

just got back from an overnight getaway in Coral Beach Club in Matabungkay, Lian, Batangas last weekend.  Just me, hubby and my two year old toddler na first time sa beach, and I must say that we enjoyed it there!

Sobrang bilis ng preps ko kasi biglaan and we were supposed to go to La Luz in Laiya this oct 2-3 but my hubby wanted to go last Sept 25-26 because he'll be busy na pag Oct pa. Nung una, gusto ko pa rin sa La Luz pero fully booked na. Tapos we got feedback na super layo raw kung commute kami baka abutin ng 5hrs or more. So I had to check out vistamar, tali beach, munting buhangin. I wanted a resort with a pool in case, di type ng anak ko sa beach, at gusto ko white sand na parang sa bora. Sa vistamar, ok yung rates at may pool pero the beach, maitim ang sand at mabato. Sa Tali beach naman, ganun din since sa nasugbu sya. Sa Munting Buhangin naman, ok sana, white sand kaso ang mahal ng accommodation 4500 w/o meals quote sa kin for overnight, eh nakapunta na ko dun dati nothing special tapos ang taas taas pa ng hagdan...

Buti na lang, I checked out the website of Coral Beach Club. IT was really simple, informative and the pics were nice and when I called, very accommodating ang staff. No need for downpayment basta confirmed lang ang reservation mo. You can pay off your accommodation and food thru credit card pa.  The room we got was a deluxe cottage (Php 3200 on a weekend/Php 2999 on a weekday) kasi fully booked na standard rooms nila. Super nice ng room, at pinili ko sa 2nd floor para sa beach view.  Aircon, w/ mini ref, queen size bed and a single bed pa with comfy white sheets, separate shower and toilet and bath (hot and cold), with complementary coffee, tea, mineral water. Tapos merun na electric airpot.

The resort, has its own resto pero may kamahalan ang food kasi ang clients nila more mga foreigners kaya puro longsilog at tapsilog kami nung lunch at dinner. Nung the following day, nagpaluto kami ng seafood sa nearby residents na andun, super sulit naman at pareho lang binayad namin nung nag-tapsilog kami. My kid enjoyed the pool and the beach as well, white sand but not super white. The water is clear and may mga balsa so we were able to bring our cam and just put it near us. I enjoyed the jacuzzi Next time, pag bumalik kami with a large group, magbabalsa kami para dun mag-ihaw.

For me, medyo mahal yung room pero worth it naman.

sis cream_puffs, it took us 5 hours nung nagcommute kami from Cubao to Laiya. natagalan kasi may na-hit na van yung bus na sinasakyan namin. nung pabalik, 3 hours lang ata.

ay naku, yung dagat sa laiya walang kasing labo pag umuulan... yung tubig from mountain bumababa galing sa ilog na connected papuntang dagat

Hi mga sis.. we're planning to have our team building sana this nov. bale 250 pax. yung medyo mura lang sana yung accomodation plus yung food. baka meron kayo alam.. salamat po ng marami...
