Better sa jewelry shop kasi kaya nila tignan pati mga bato. Though if may big stones yung pieces mo, pa-schedule ka para may gemologist talaga.

Meron nagbigay sakin na bato from pakistan 26 years ago. Meaning sobrang bata ko pa nun. Yung bato na yun meron ruby nakaplant sa bato mismo galing sa minahan. Would anyone know kung san ko ito pwedeng ibenta? Nagcrak na yung bato kaya naexpose na yung ibang part ng ruby at makinang siya.

We can never tell kasi kung nawalan ng value ang pera, possible din na iba na ang culture ng tao at may iba nang ivavalue so not necessarily gold
We're highly materialistic right now so if that changes, di ako convinced na gold ang papalit especially with global warming.

Do you guys have pieces na semi-precious stones set with diamonds and gold/platinum? Di daw considered as investment pero mas unique kasi.

Subscribing. I started buying pieces of jewelry several days after my first paycheck. I did not think of it as an investment, more on luho. Pag nasa work, lahat kayo sa office mga naka -alahas, ayaw mapag-iwanan, hehe. But now that I am a stay-at-home mom, I am thinking of disposing some, to invest to something else. Since wala naman akong anak na babae, ako lang talaga ang gagamit nito. Good thing I have seen this thread. Uumpisahan ko na mag-ikot at magtanong tanong sa mga pawnshops.

Maganda ba investment kahit whitegold? I don't like wearing yellow gold jewelry kasi and I want to be able to use the jewelry for special occasions din sana.

I like diamonds on white gold to be precise.

^hi sis. you may want to check deogold in FB, she have a wide collection of both yellow and white gold and mukha namang reasonable young price niya although di ko pa natry bumili sa kanya. Other one I know is Prestige Maker. I bought customized yellow gold necklace with pendant from them at sa Bulacan ang kanilang shop. They don't have physical store kasi sabi ni Tita Lyn, ayaw nila dahil mainit sa mata so they opted for online selling and customize jewelries although okay naman and mga gawa nila. Both of them offer diamond pieces and collection. They do meet ups as well para makita mo din sila and yung items kaagad.

I usually buy my jewelries from a friend who is alahera talaga. Medyo pricey nga lang dahil hulugan hirap kaya maglabas ng 40k+ - 60k+ upfront pero okay na din atleast di mabigat sa bulsa.

mga sis.. ano mas wise na gawin?
i'm into buying jewelries.. mahilig kasi ako sa mga branded din i mean (lv, hermes, chanel) pero since mahal nga yun original at hindi naman ata 18karats gold..
ano mas okay ko gawin... pa customized ba ako jewelries na from high end brand designs (papagaya ko)
or mamili na lang ako sa mga pawnshop na nagpapa subasta ng jewelries nila tho yun nga lang wala ako mahanap masyado na design na gusto ko sa mga high end brand.. but siyempre sa akin aside sa maganda jewelries.. purposeko din kasi is investment dahil pag bag hindi ko naman masasanla un.

ps. puro 18k gold ang gusto ko po.. so if papadesign ako ganyan din na karats..

^for me, kung investment ok lang kahit ano ang hitsura nung jewelry. if you could get the gold real cheap then melt it to replicate the branded ones sulit ka na. I have a friend na gold bars ang investment nya. hindi ko lang talaga alam kung saan ako magsosource nito. but I'm really eyeing this investment.
