That's where  I got my bangles from, but I had someone buy it for me.  I don't know if it's cheaper plus taxes pa kasi but kung without the taxes I think tama lang yung pricing, what i know is they have the current gold rate displayed around there and then they add on for the workmanship or labor.

mahilig din ako sa jewelries for investment, may kinukuhaan ako dito sa office namin ng jewelries alahera talaga siya from Bulacan. Magaganda ang designs nya at ang maganda dun terms ang payment.

Dati I believe jewelry is for investment pero hindi naman pala kase wala ako plan na ibenta mga jewelries ko mahilig ako sa jewelry gusto lagi bumili but hindi na pwede kase married na. Wait na lang ako sa mga jewelry na gift ni hubby. Infairness sa dubai nagpapabili asawa ko kaya sure na wala fake at worth yung ginastos. Now I have loose pearl na gift nya noong birthday ko, hindi ko alam kung san pwede ipaset. Mga sissies Baka may alam kayo na mura lang pero sure na hindi fake pls let me know. TIA

This post will be regarding sa jewelry bought from abroad,

I decided na bumili this afternoon ng yellow gold chain na 22k, 4.18 gms (RM610 the price) here in Penang, Malaysia, for my baby girl.  She has kasi a pendant (karat and weight not known yet) that was a gift ng my officemates ni hubby dito. I bought the chain para may kwintas sya na maisuot sa 1st bday nya this year. 

I read the whole thread from the start and the summary of jewelry as a good investment weighs more. I think this is good kung itatago mo talaga sya and you have other source of income and will not decide to pawn your jewelry anytime. 

So balitaan ko kayo next month (kahit one month pa lang after I bought! tee hee!) about the appraisal sa Pinas ng buong kwintas ni baby if this is really a good buy for me, and hopefully magtuloy tuloy na ako with this good investment.

How true that if the dollar is high the gold is low?

^^ retail nasa 2200 per gram ngayon so even if the dollar is high, mataas pa din per gram ng gold.

^ try your local jeweler but it won't be as accurate if it doesn't have any GIA certificate

Ako din mahilig, nahawa ako sa mommy ko. Pero 2nd hand lang kami kasi mas mura. Yung mga sa Pawnshop, dun kami bumibili, sure din na hindi fake. Yes, I believe this is a good investment. Unlike houses and cars, pag nagipit ka (wag naman sana) iwan muna sa lending, no papers and documents needed. Then i claim nalang ulit pag maluwag na.

Parents ko kasi mahigpit sa money yung dad ko. Kaya pag may nanghihiram sa mom ko yun muna ginagawa nya. Nababawi naman nya agad yung jewelries nya.

San kaya maganda magpa appraise ng jewelry? hindi naman kasi ako mahilig sa jewelry but I inherited quite a few from my mom (sya talaga sobrang hilig) and I want to know their value for insurance purposes....
