I presently enrolled my daughter at DEE HWA LIONG ACADEMY. She also graduated there....
Prep lang naman siya nag start dun but she graduated top of her class (8th place to be specific).
Teachers naman are nice and so accommodating.... Di ko lang alam sa Grade 1. walking distance
kasi sa amin kaya dito ko siya inenroll and its nice they are teaching mandarin chinese.
Yung tuition nila around 30k lang. super mura compare to other schools.

I enrolled my son 23 month old son ISYC's summer class last May and I was pleased with the facilities, teachers and curriculum.  They even had a culminating activity.  His teacher was the School directress/principal.  Tuition is 75k.  I am planning to enroll my son there when he turns 3, but I was told I should already be inquiring as early as December since the classes get filled up easily. 

In the meantime, I am looking for alternative pre schools around.  Any feedback on Montessori at Kent in filinvest?

^My daughter attended the summer class in May too. At first we were decided not to enroll her first kaso we were so pleased with her response to the school and activities. The problem lang was the slots ran out na kagad so I spoke to Teacher Michelle about listing her for next school year na lang.

I was interested in MSK before too cus it's just near our place, we live in the village across. My friend's son goes there and she said the school is nice naman but the kids are in just one room. It's a relatively small place lang daw.

My son attends nursery 1 at KidsTech. 12 kids in 1 class, then they have 2 regular teachers, 1 sped teacher and 1 teacher aide sa loob ng classroom. 😊

My son attended ISYC's summer class in May too Unfortunately, hindi na sya na enroll for June since puno na nga and at that time I thought hindi pa sya ready mag full schoolyear. But after finishing summer school, super restless na ng anak ko at home and I think its because of his boredom He was so happy at school, kasi ang daming activities and the interaction with other kids helped him a lot. Kaya now I think he really needs to do something while waiting for ISYC's June schoolyear. So I'm thinking parang play school lang. Has anyone tried the one in Sierra Monte? meron bang parang gymboree or little gym na malapit sa marcos highway? TIA!

Hi everyone. I have recently heard from a friend about a pioneering school in Marikina. You can check their page in facebook. Prep ED yung name ng school. I am in no way connected sa kanila. I just got curious kasi magaganda review.

A friend has her kid enrolled in Prep Ed and heard lots of good things about it too. Very new school daw and yet very promising. My friend is all praises on its program, activities and teachers. i inquired via phone and i intend to visit them next week for my daughter next school year. My initial impression - Very  accommodating and professional ang nakasagot sa phone.

The visit was really good. Am very impressed. Bago nga sila - very new but very efficient. Pinag-isipan ang school. Kahit ang mga gamit ok talaga. may playground din na malaki sa likod. Akala ko nga maliit lang ang school pero malaki ang likod. It was my firt time to be intoduced in preschool curriculum and approach and they did a good job. The school is combining education and fun. I saw everything am looking for para sa anak ko. I am returning by january to reserve. Tried asking around dahil may mga ibang parents when i visited and everyone is ok with the school. Akala ko nga too good to be true pero talagang ok naman daw.

I also got a chance to see a class pero very short lang while the owner is showing me the rooms. Heard one teacher talk to kids and she was very sweet and very young. For a mom, its good to know that the teachers are kind in dealing with children.

Hi supercookingmama did you find a playschool already? If you're looking for a playschool while waiting for next June school year, try inquiring at House of Little People inside Filinvest East if they will accept even after the school year started already. Just ask the guard how to get there.

Naku, naeexcite na tuloy ako mag school visit. I'm planning to file for a VL on Oct 18 and 3 schools ang bibisitahin naming mag-asawa. Hindi pinag sit-in yung anak mo sis?, or hindi mo siya kasama nung nag school visit ka? Ako i'm really planning to bring my daughter sa school visit para mapag sit-in namin at makita namin kung paano siya makikimingle sa other students.

I'll post my observation immediately after ng mga school visit namin.

I did not ask for a trial class eh. Honestly, its only now na nalaman kong pwede pala yun. But my kid played in their play-area. By the way, they have a big playground at the back. Ok naman sa kid ko talaga. Let me know how was your visit.

Hi Mommies,  I am also looking for a good school for my 3 yr old son.  we are near marcos highway pero more on sa pasig kami. nakakatakot kasi tumawid marcos highway.  I am also looking for a good pre-school na he can attend so he can have a good shot in going to ateneo or la salle.

As for Morning Dew, I am not sure lang if they changed their curriculum ha , but when we transferred from Nova to Pasig I had to transfer my eldest 13 yrs ago to Morning Dew nga, middle of the school year. I thought it was a good school then, claiming montessori sila if i remember correctly.  Academics wise I think same lang naman turo nila with other schools but na dissapoint ako when they have nga their own sink per classroom, but when I asked my daughter then if they wash their hands before and after eating, hindi daw. Eh diba para saan pa ang sink.  Then when I would pick up my daughter then, the pre-school was located in the 2nd flr., there are rowdy kids pa naman, nobody goes down with the kids na to assist them na teacher aide.  Tapos pag kuhanan ng cards, they will just hand it out to you. The teachers never discussed the progress of my kid, kahit sabihin natin maganda progress ng bata di ba dapat they discuss that with you para you know how your kids are doing. 

So nilipat namin sya sa assumption na after and no regrets naman, she is graduating na nga next year.  As far as Assumption Antipolo naman, their values are similar to what I believe in naman, I graduated from STC and di naman na magkalayo ang teachings, which we thought before na pang coño sya. Di naman pala. 

Ang mahal na pala ng pre-schools ngayon mas mahal pa sa tution ng high school.

This is our 2nd year at Morning Dew and so far.. I never had the bad experiences you had. I am a very hands on parent and since preschool ang kid ko.. most of the time I visit the school or wait for my boy so may time ako to talk to the teachers.. even the aid. Magaling ang teachers nila.. though most would be very young. What I love about them is that very mapagmahal sila sa mga bata. Unlike in traditional schools and those with a very high student-teacher ratio.. dito natututukan ang mga bata and they really take time to speak to parents re progress, room for improvement. And isa pang maganda.. yung student relationship. I swear para silang magkakapatid. Nakakatuwa kasi when there are events sa preschool, hindi lang teachers ang nagbabantay sa kanila. Pati mga ate at kuya nila from Highschool. You can't find this kind of relationship anywhere.

Nasa ground floor ang preschool /lower school kaya no need to worry kung maglilikot or baka malaglag sa stairs. And I must add na yung sink sa classroom, gamit na gamit. Teachers wouldn't allow kids to start eating without cleaning their hands. :-)

Curriculum wise, okay sa MDM. And I have seen kids move from pre-casa to junior casa; and junior casa to senior casa middle of school year based on their ability. Just means na talagang nag le-level up pag nakita nila na kaya talaga ng bata.

What I dislike about it though are the facilities. Sayang no improvement till now.

^hi sis. me too! buti na nga lang tumawag ako last week to confirm yung date ng reservation nila. kasi we did the school visit last november pa, and ang sabi sa akin noon, january 16 ang start ng reservation, when I called, sinabe sa akin ng january 15 pala. we went there mga 8:20 am and madami nang tao. good thing nakapagpa reserve din kame.

I called ISYC two days late and their jr nursery classes in the am and mid am are already closed. The only slot available will be the afternoon class which is from1:30-4pm , which coincides with my son's nap time.  Wow I didn't realize the slots will be filled  up that fast! 

Has anyone heard of tinker brains in town and country? I don't see any reviews about the school.  Although we will be sitting in on Thursday.  However I was alarmed that they have 20 kids per class.  I was also callig MSK but no one is answering.

I've recently inquired at A to Z Integrated School of learning in Marikina https://www.facebook.com/pages/A-to-z-integrated-school-of-learning/404243752963486. Their tuition fee is P28,000 + P3025 for miscellaneous fees.  Quarterly payments are at P5,000. They've got a Summer enhancement program this coming April 21 for 4,000.  They've got a facebook page, and their teaching style is Progressive/Conventional.  I'm not sure what that means because I'm enrolling my daughter for the first time.  I'm considering this school kasi super lapit lang sa amin. I haven't considered other pre-schools nearby, but when I get more information, I'll definitely update.
