hi sis maricar, just take Marcos Hiway going to Katipunan. then turn right sa ilalim ng fly-over going to Marikina. You will pass Riverbanks (on your right) and Loyola (sa left side mo), look for Shell (left side) and Caltex (left side again), pag malapit ka na sa Caltex, medyo mag gear to the right, next road to your left is Provident.

pag nasa loob ka na, turn left on the 1st intersection, straight ahead, makikita mo na signage on your right ng pre-school. Ang Grade School is nasa riverside st. derechuhin mo pa din ang street na ito.

MGP has a summer program as well to sart on april 19 to may 14. classes is M-F 10am to 1230pm. P7,000

Ask ko lang, usually po ba pag summer class yung binayaran doon wala pang kasamang anything? Like kids snack and materials needed for school?

finally..Ü i am enrolling my son at KILA this Tuesday.. (so excited.. hehe) enrollment is ongoing till May 28.. the teachers are nice and very accommodating sa lahat ng questions and inquiries Ü..

hi sis, just want to share my experience with divine angel...im super excited to visit the school last week kase from their site sa multiply maganda yung facilities nila and mukhang nice yung ways of teaching nila...low ratio din ang teacher student nila kaya almost sure na ko na dun ienroll kids ko and for the fact na mas mababa tuition fee nila in compare sa little farm house intl school...

but...nadisappoint ako sa faculty staff nila....nung naginquire ako they were looking at us as if we are langaw na napadaan...well, may nagaccomodate naman samin, ibinigay yung tuition fee rates nila etc, when i ask about their teaching program, they were clueless, sabi ko nalang ano po ieexpect ko sa playschool and nursery nila...they just said, "do you mean our curriculum? we dont give it away kase, after you enroll your kids nalang"....i was expecting ieexplain nila yung teaching approach nila sa mga bata and ieendorse nila yung mga good qualities ng school nila...but wala e...and ang nakakadisappoint talaga is how they make us feel...deadma sila...

nagsign up ako for free trial class the next day...mukhang enjoy naman kid ko....the day after that yung last day for the free trial class...sadly ayaw pumasok ng boy ko sa classroom so the teacher invited me inside to join them para maging familiar yung son ko sa environment...two thumbs up for the teachers until this senior teacher came...her nature is strict...and i thought she's nakakatakot if i will be her student, but it'l be nice kase matututo ang mga students nya...but parang may mali kase...

she keep on making puna each student kapag may mali - dont know if this is good or bad ha...then she says, "you pronounce letter L with your tongue up not with your tongue out, if your mom teach you like this you tell her its wrong ha...letter R sounds as rrrr, if your mommy says R sounds as raaa she's wrong...you tell mommy, mom its not rrrr its raaa..." this is not the exact words but almost...ok lang sana if she said it in a nice way pero promise you can see it in her face na dinodown nya yung nanay nung student...IN FRONT OF THE CLASS...

wtf...what's wrong with her?

bakit parang she makes the image of the student's mother ignorant? oh well, mali nga naman yung turo pero dapat ba ipangalandakan nung teacher na mali turo ng nanay sa buong klase? she can simply say its wrong this is how you do it...

actually hindi lang isa o dalawang beses nya minention na mali turo ng mga nanay about the pronounciations...nakailang beses din...

and eto pa mga sis...

there's this girl with a lot of accessories na hindi ata nagfofocus sa tinuturo nya...suddenly, she said "little girl, you listen to me so you learn, bakit kase ang dami mong accessories?! hay pasuot ng pasuot sa mga bata ng kung ano ano itong mga magulang na to tapos kapag nawala sila pa galit"....again IN FRONT OF THE CLASS....

mga sis super na turn off ako talaga sa ugali ng teacher kase naman, ok may sarili syang opinyon, hindi ba pwedeng sarilinin nalang nya yun at wag na ipangalandakan pa sa harap ng buong klase???

Smart Kids First School inside Kingsville along Marcos Highway

For Toddler class nila, annual tuition is P26,460 and miscellaneous fees is P2,940.  They are offering a 15% discount on tuition fees before May 31.

My son studied there and at 4years old, he can already read 3-4word letters and even basic sentences.  Their pre-school graduates have been accepted to big schools like St. Scholastica, San Benildo and Claret.

My daughter goes to OB MOntessori Pagsasarili School. Managed and run by OB MOntessori Greenhills. Almost same curriculum. But more affordable tuition It's in the street behind Metrobank Tuazon.

Mam how much is the tuition fee? im just a govt. employee baka di ko kayanin ang tution fee nila. Im hearing the school so many years na kaso wala kaming mapagkuhanan ng exact address.They always say in Marikina lang located.

Okay siya dahil wala na talaga iisipin ang parents kundi papasok na lang ang kids. Kasama na sa tuition yung bag, notebooks, pensils, crayons and books. Pati ang nametag ng kids provided pa.

May mga school programs every other month kaya may nilolook forward mga kids.

As a nutritionist, natuwa ako na kasama na ang snacks and pinapadalhan nila ng kopya ang parents ng snacks for the month para baka may allergies ang kids pwede magsuggest ng bago.

Mababait mga teachers nila because sometimes ako taga hatid-sundo, and nung first time ko maghatid sinamahan pa ako ng tita ko para ipakilala sa guard dahil pag di kilala ng guard ang tagasundo di irerelease ang mga bata.

im not saying, based from my sister's story na wag na itry ienroll ang mga bata sa school na yun. All im saying eh yung feedback po ng sister ko with that school. And its not good.

There are a lot of "maybe" sa pagkakwento kase ako yung nagkwento sainyo and not my sister. Mga thought ko yun, not my sister. Na baka siguro ganto ang nangyari kaya nawiwi ang bata. Ang inisip lang po ng sister ko eh baka wala nag accompany sa pamngkin ko sa CR kaya nawiwi sya sa pants nya. Then I thought na since according sa sister ko na baka wala nag assist or accompany, madilim yung cr at hindi nya naabot yung switch ng light kaya nawiwi na lang sya sa pants nya. Ako po ang nag isip nun. Kase kung tutuusin, dapat naman talaga may nag aacompany sa mga bata kahit na pa informed sila marunong na umihi on thir own. Mano man lang naiopen ang lights for them or ask them if they need anything. Kaso naisip ko baka naman konti lang ang teacher or baka isa lang kaya hindi masamahan ang bata that time kase hindi nya pwede iwan yung ibang mga bata.

You're right sis, syempre there are kids talaga who accidentally wet their pants and of course hindi po yun kasalanan ng teacher. The teacher told my sister what happened. Her son raised his hands that he wanted to go to the CR. I guess hindi po siguro mag react yung sister ko na sending her son to a different school if sinabihan sya ng teacher na sinamahan yung anak nya sa CR.

I am not discouraging others not to enroll their kids in this school. Yung kwento ko po eh feedback lang po ng kapatid ko sa school na yun. May good feedbacks and

^Personally, I wouldn't recommend SWEET PICKLES.
Actually it was my sister who let me know about the bad incident happened to her son before and told me choose whatever school WAG LANG sweet pickles!

Why?

Although my pamangkin is potty trained when enrolled there....when my sister fetched him from school she noticed that her son shorts is different. So she asked the teacher, and teacher told her something like: "humiram po sya ng shorts sa classmate nya". Of course my sister asked why, and teacher told her: "umihi anak nyo sa shorts nya". Knowing her son who does not make accidents like this, asked teacher what happened bago magwiwi. Middle of lesson yata he wanted to pee so he raised his hand as per instruction by the teacher. So teacher told him he may go to the CR. Child got back na wet na pants. So my sister figured na, He was alone no teacher to atleast accompany him. Take note he was only 2-3yo at that time. And since he cannot reached for the light switch yet, he maybe got scared (Ang alam ko dapat lagi opened ang lights especially sa CR dahil yun nga hindi abot ng mga bata yung switch) and maybe rin he cannot unbotton or alisin yung belt (if meron), then siguro ihing ihi na sya, nawiwi na lang sya sa pants nya.

So tama nga wala nag aasist man lang sa mga bata....

Hayyy so nilipat na lang ng sister ko anak nya... I mean bata yung mga yun, bakit nga naman wala man mag accompany. Kesehodang marunong o hindi pa marunong yung bata mag wiwi on their own...sana meron nag aassist sakanila if they need any help etc...

hi! i used to teach at Sweet Pickles about 9 years ago and I handled both their AM & PM classes; when my daughter reached school age, i enrolled her sa Sweet Pickles and she stayed there during her Nursery & Kinder years (because they only have preschool). If there is one thing I can say about this school is that it;s very child-friendly.. During my time of teaching there we did have an aid (her name was Fatima, i don't know if she's still with them) and she was the one assisting the kids when they needed help using the restrooms. The restrooms then were built in such a way that it can cater to kids talaga.. the light was always open the floors were covered with non-slip mats, and the door has this small slits at the bottom that would allow also light from the outside to come in..

During my daughter's stay at Sweet Pickles, I have not had any complains naman and my daughter liked the school very much.. Sweet Pickles is very particular when it comes to their curriculum & teaching. They may not have teachers who graduated from prestigious schools but the owner/ directress Teacher Rose has been in the education business for a long. long time.. Proof to that is her being the author of some of the books being used also in her schools. These books are recognized by Deped so you're assured that they are good books. Also, what I like most about this school is that they reaaly help the kids to learn. During tests (which they have every Friday then) kids are called up one-by-one and they answer the tests individually with the teacher..

Most of the graduates of Sweet Pickles end up studying either in Marist, St. Scho, or St. Paul because they include in their curriculum the preparation for big school entrance exams and interviews. The materials they use and the test/ questions are the same stuff given by these big schools that's why their turn out for passers is high yearly..

I hope this somehow helps those looking for a nice preschool around the marikina heights area; this is in no way meant to disrespect anybody's comment but to help clarify some information... Thanks!

Hi I don't have kids yet pero for those looking for the best school in marikina area i strongly recommend St. Scho for girls and Marist for boys. Dun talaga you can be assured that your children are being given the highest quality of education. for the tuition naman, it can be more expensive than other schools pero st. scho and marist naman are both established na..madami kasing schools na after ilang years sarado na. personally, i wouldn't mind spending a little extra if i know im getting my money's worth... iba kasi talaga pag product ng exclusive schools...

my son will be turning 3 yeARs old this december... and im planning to enroll him na next year..problem is...i dont know which school sya papasok...thanks sa mga info here... nagkaroon na ako ng mga choices...
