Mt. Carmel Parish Church nga pala yung church namin. san po yung San Agustin church? yun po ba yung church sa baliuag bayan? hindi kasi ako taga baliuag eh, kaya kung ano lang malapit sa venue un na kinuha namin. bakit nga pala hindi ka sa mt. carmel nagpa-book?

Well here's the story.

We initially reserved Alessandra(meycauayan) and Divine Mercy Shrine(marilao) on Dec 1.  Kaso we had conflict sa date ng vacation ng kuya ko.  He's abroad kase.  Di sya makakauwi earlier than Dec 1 so we had to change the date.  Kaso fully booked na yung other saturdays ni Alessandra.  Eh other than Alessandra ala na ko maisip na magandang venue.  Limited din kase ang alam ko sa Bulacan hehe.  Kaya ayun sa Greenery ako napunta.  Buti nga available pa yung date ko.  Apparently mas mahal sya kay Alessandra although I thought the guests will also enjoy the place so sulit na din.  By the way I chose the lighthouse pala.  Gusto ko kase talga garden as opposed to ballroom.

About the church di na available yung Mt Carmel ng Dec 15 afternoon so lipat kame ng San Agustin.  Ok din naman mas mura pa as Ive mentioned.  Ang mahal sa Mt carmel in fairness ha! pero maganda din naman sya.

Re suppliers naman, bukod sa church at venue, P/V at HMUP pa lang ang nabook ko.  For the P/V i got Studio1. Then sa HMUP si Tony Godoy who is also from Bulacan.  He was also my sister's make-up artist so knowing his works dun na ko dumirecho sa kanya.

Ikaw?  How's your preparation?  When is your wedding pala? San venue mo sa greenery?  Kumpleto na suppliers mo? heheh dami tanong.

Hiya!  Its really nice to hear from you.  Yup, san agustin yung nandun sa bayan.  Tried to inquire din sa Mt Carmel kaso ala na silang afternoon wedding nung date namin.  Buti na lang meron pa dun sa San Agustin - a lot cheaper pa so natuwa naman ako!  Well yung package nila yung kinuha ko kase sobrang expensive kung separate ko pa kunin yung venue then one of their accredited caterers.  The package includes the food, sound system, cake, and venue.  Basic lang talaga hehe.  Ikaw ba?

Hello, everyone! Yikes, I am such a noob on this thing, so forgive my apprehensions on clicking around this site. 

Boy, I am just glad to have found a forum like this one! Like many of you, I also am a Bulacan bride-to-be, and I am all smiles reading the posts here. So amazing to see how girls lend a hand to other girls through this thread!  I intend to get married summer of next year, and I still am undecided about tons of things! Good thing your wedding stories and ideas are, as far as my own preparations are concerned, giving me a picture of how it's gonna be like prepping for my own big day here in Bulacan. 

Does anyone know someone who has had her wedding/ wedding reception held in Lawiswis Kawayan in Calumpit, Bulacan? I've inquired the specs of their rentals, and it appears a bit pricey to me. May kilala ba kayo or mayroon ba rito na ikinasal na roon?

Hello Girls!
Parang wala na atang nag-update, na-excite pa naman akong basahin yung thread from page 1 to 7, hehe

Barasoain bride din ako, pinabook na ng Mama ko last January. Bale the wedding would be on October 20. As of today, wala pa akong naaayos, except sa wedding gown ko na binili ko sa China (simpleng gown lang then lagyan ko na lang ng additional beadworks). Research mode pa din ako ng suppliers via internet. Hopefully, before mag-end ang May, mafinalize ko na ang reception, caterer, and other stuff. May nakaready na akong templates para sa reception decors and arrangements, pati colors at flowers, super simple lang naman ng gusto namin.

Anyway, I'll try to update my progress here atsaka sa website namin. Super DIY ng wedding namin so , I hope maganda naman kalabasan

I tagged along with my BFF once in Lawiswis Kawayan for a prenup shoot of their cousin so I am familiar with the place. I believe their cousin's Christian wedding should have been held there since the owner is a family friend however, they change the venue since the area is not enough to accommodate all their final list of guests.

I agree that the place is pricey but if you want a private garden wedding venue, I personally think that's it one of the good choices in Calumpit area.

I google Lawiswis Kawayan, ang super like ko nga yung ambiance... how much po rates nila?
Although hindi na ako makakapag change ng venue... nakikitsismis lang para if ever may magtanong sa akin ng ibang venue sa bulacan may marerecommend na ako...

Jamm's catering kami sa hagonoy sila. maganda feedback ng mga guest sa catering ko masarap daw food and yung iba kinuha pa yung contact number nila. 350/Head ang quote sakin.

Si orantes schoolmate ni hubby yung guy. Don't know about the food pero magand ayos nila sa venue. kaso namahalan kami kaya d sya kinuha namin hehe n oregrets naman ako sa caterer ko.

hi sis maeimee... kulang na lang kami ng flowers and gowns for our entos... hirap mag scout ng affordable yet dependable na suppliers ng gowns eh... for the flowers naman we're thinking of getting Ysabella's flower shop. Hopefully ma-finalize na lahat kasi malapit na ang October...

hi sis, same here hindi pa din finalized ang entos gown namin... pati principal sponsors namin kulang pa din... malapit na ang wedding mo... at hindi din naman nalalayo yung sa akin... kaya goodluck nga sa atin... lol

regarding prenup naman, better kung magprenup na kau ngyon kasi kahit papano mainit pa din sa tanghali... twing hapon kasi palaging umuulan lalo na sa bulacan, walang palya...
mas mahihirapan naman kau kung matapat pa kau na may bagyo na... kaya Go na kau sa prenup nyo...
hindi ko pa napopost sa FB ko yung pics namin eh... pero sana within this month mapost ko na...

@semper_fidelis: kasama sa package ng p/v namin yung photobooth... hmmm sa tingin mo naman madaming photobooth jan sa atin... yung last na wedding na nakita ko sa greenery, soft shots yung photobooth nila... alam ko taga bulacan lang yun.
Open yung reception namin (lighthouse) hopefully wala ng bagyo ng October... balak namin mag-alay ng eggs kay St. Claire para mag wish ng good weather...
