mga sis, for the 2nd time, share your latest or memorable local trip expenses para maging guide ng fellow GTs na gusto mag out of town or never been to that place. pashare po ng estimated na nagastos nyo noon like fare, hotels, foods, tour guide fee, attraction/ tourist spot fee, etc..

magastos talaga ko kaya sana may mga sis na makakapagpost ng out of town expenses na budgeted and sulit talaga.. usually din kase, bf and i combine our money kaya both trips eh good for 2 pax na.

yup. mura kasi iyong airfare namin kasi promo namin nakuha 1thou plus lang ang mla-ppc, iloilo-mla nila.

meron nga palang nanlibre din sa amin pero siguro magdagdag lang ng 1thou sa tour at food expenses. tipid din kami noon kasi sa karinderya lang naman kami kumain. tapos nung nasa ppc kami mura naman sa balinsasayaw.

Sis marami ka mabibili pasalubong dun kaso di ako pwede bumili ng maraming pasalubong kasi sikreto lang ang pagpunta ko dun di alam sa amin na ako lang mag isa nagpunta hehe

As for the food, kasama na dun sa 1K kasi dun ako kumain sa carinderia nila which is Php 80.00 and sa salt and pepper na around Php 150 - 170. 

Next time try ko yung mga food sa mga restaurant nila.. Biglaan lang kasi...

Approximate cost of Siargao -Surigao -Butuan-CDO 5 days 4 nights pasyal (Note: di kmi masyadong nagtipid sa food haha so kung di kayo mahilig magfood trip mas mababa pa dito ang rates )

Good for 1 person:

Roundtrip airfare via Cebu Pac. :   PHP 3.1k
(mine was Davao-Cebu-Siargao then CDO-Davao, but my friends had the Manila-Cebu-Siargao then CDO-Manila trips, but almost same rates lang)

Siargao accomodation : 3 person a room for 2 nights at Ocean 101 Surf Resort in GL (1.6k per room), so approx. PHP 1.1k per person

Transfer from Siargao Airport to GL (the place for surfing): PHP 900 for the whole van. so php 300 per person

Surfing Lessons: PHP 500.00  with instructor and surf board (this is not the hotel rate, we asked the surfer-husband of Marife, who owns the famous Marife's Surfer Food Eatery to teach us haha kasi mas mura ng di hamak)

Habal-Habal ride to downtown: PHP 30.00 each person. We spent about PHP 700.00 each for all our habal habal rides.

Food:  Marife's Surfer Food. We made a palista style. Total for our two days, two nights stay is PHP 1,800 for the three of us. So approx. 600 each for all our meals in Siargao :-) Cheap!

Island Hopping: Boat rent is PHP 1,700 per boat + 50 pesos per person entrance to one of the islands + packed lunch. Since we were four in island hopping tour, it came down to only about 600 each. this one is  good for the whole afternoon.

Beer at the Bay sa downtown: 25 pesos per bottle. 100 per person

Transpo to CDO (via fastcraft to Surigao then bus to CDO via Butuan): Approx. 500 per person

Hotel at CDO (we stayed at a hotel walking distance lang from LimKetKai Mall): PHP 2200 for the room with extra bed, good for three. we stayed for two days so it's PHP 1,400 each person

Whitewater rafting in CDO: PHP 1,500 per person. not including meals. For meals it's about PHP 150 - 200.00 dun sa resto na last stop ng rafting.

LIMKETKAI CENTER dinners : about PHP 300- 400 per person. We ate at BFB and the cafe at the rooftop of Limketkai. Food expenses about PHP 1,200.00 per person (splurge ito, kasi nagbeer and coffee pa kami sa mga shops sa Ketkai after dinner)

Pasalubong: Pastels, shirts etc.: PHP 1000.00 per person

Taxi around CDO and to the airport:  PHP 350.00 per person


TOTAL EXPENSES PER PERSON:  PHP 13,150 ALL IN for the five day North Mindanao trip. (We took this trip early november, so offpeak season sya)

^^sis am sorry pero i more of a visual person kasi eh, i can picture the store in my mind now. kung hindi ako nagkakamali sis, 3 lang naman kasi yung tindahan na pinuntahan namin to buy souvenirs sa sagada eh. on the way to the famous restaurant that serves very delicious meal, dun sa right side, merong magkatabi na store. isang store na medyo malaki na may wood/glass display tapos sa katabi naman is maliit na nagtitinda nang mga t-shirt souvenirs. dun ko nabili sa malaking store with glass display yung magnet, dream catcher at bonnet

sa maliit  na store naman yung mga pangginaw saka poncho

sa pagbaba to the said famous restaurant naman meron isang bahay converted ang first floor into store. dun ko nabili yung honey tapos sa store na ito, merong pinto papasok sa bahay talaga nila (personal area nila) tapos sa right side naman yung cashier nila.

i am sssoooo sorry, napi-picture ko sa mind ko but i cannot describe it fully.






^sis, sa unag hostel house pagbaba nang van kami tumira. bale, tapat sya nang barangay hall (?) where you will register if you will go to caves. db dalawa yung road? isang papunta sa baba direction to the said restaurant and the second road is the one leading to the lake...
