we bought our 19 month old daughter a necklace today. We got the mini double heart tag pendant in sterling silver with tiffany blue enamel finish and the 16 inch chain. Kasya na sa kanya! Love it on her! And pwde nya suotin to hanggang lumaki sya kasi ok pa rin length

We were at Tiffany rustans Shang early this evening to pick up my pearl toggle bracelet I had repaired. It was sent pala to HK for re-wiring kaya tumagal. Then out of the blue, hubby bought me the somerset mesh toggle necklace. It just came out last month. I didn't like the fit of the matching bracelet though so I just had the stud earring to go with it   2 weeks ago when we were in baguio I lost 3 bracelet that were in my jewelry pouch. 2 of them are Tiffany and 1 bangle from my mom hay.. Still feel sad remembering my loss oh well.. Bit happy now with my new Tiffany to add to my collection   the salesladies there know my husband very well, they gave us a huge pouch for free haha.

I also liked the infinity necklace.. Was very simple but knowing we already have 2 kids and the necklace and earring already cost 63k.. Eh syempre na-guilty na ko ng konti  lol

I'm planning to get my girlfriend a Tiffany engagement ring. May I ask for your help?
Would you know how much will a Tiffany ring of this type will cost?

1. I'm aiming for a 0.3 to 0.5 ct Diamond ring with a color grade of G or H. (Tiffany Setting).
Doesn't have to be exact, an estimate or price range will already be a great help

2. I also saw in the past posts that it can be better to buy from other countries, will I save a lot more (and can get her a bigger diamond) if I buy in Duty Free branches of other countries? or its not really worth the trouble, especially with Customs factored in?


Thanks in advance! I've read the whole thread but posts about engagement rings are from 3+ years ago so I'm thinking the prices might have changed a lot since then.

^based on my observation, tiffany prices here are about 40% higher than prices in the US. the 0.5 ct ring you are looking to buy, according to the tiffany website, is currently priced at $4,050 (with the cheapest band), so expect to pay $5670 here in Manila, or P270k.

if you are going to the US anyway or to any other country with a good duty free airport, then it might make sense to buy abroad. customs won't notice it if you don't carry the bag on your arm for them to see. when i buy my pieces from abroad, i pack them in with other non-valuable trinkets in my carry on. i fold the paper bag and put the box away para di pansinin. iwas theft din. hope this helps!

OT: curious lang pag may 5 pieces ka ba na tiffany sa bag, ma tax ba nila yun? Or suotin na lang kaya para di ma tax? Curious lang.

^Basta walang receipt and evidence na those are newly bought, I don't think they will tax you for that. Lagay mo lang sa secured pocket ng bag mo. Or better, isuot mo yung iba. Pero I always have a couple of watches and jewelries with me everytime I travel, to and from the Philippines. I never had a problem.

^ang gamit ko panlinis polishing cloth ng pandora. kaso nung last ko linis napatid yun kwintas ko.

Pag nagpapalinis kami sa Tiffany, niluloblob nila sa silver polishing liquid. Meron nyan sa True Value. Yun na rin binili ko. Yung red na container.
