i've been taking solgar folic acid 800 mcg for a month na siguro. my OB said to just continue taking it. she didn't advise me to take anything higher. i'm 33 and we've been trying for 2 months pa lang.

Wag mag tipid sa folic. A friend of wifey did not take folic, her baby was diagnosed as autistic.

As per my doctor hindi po porke umiinom ka ng folic acid is mabubuntis na kasi vitamins lang toh sayo if you plan to get preggy iba po sya sa fertility drugs pero ako fortifer fa ang iniinom ko kasi parang kulang ako sa dugo gusto ko nga sana multivitamins with folic acid pero di ko alam kung anong vitamins ang bibilhin ko

Folic acid is not meant para mabuntis ka. You take folic acid para maiwasan ang birth defects if you get pregnant.

I decided to continue taking folic acid even I had d&c mga 2 weeks ago. Who knows diba   baka bigyan pa ko ni God ng chance to have another one soon. ☺ Pati myra e, vit c  go pa din.

hi sis...hindi ako sure kung pwede yan..pero yung akin kasi its PRENAREX PLUS, multi vit + folic na siya..10 pesos sa mercury...

Makes no difference when u take it basta important you take it lang. Wifeys multivitamins may folic and before she got pregnant may additional dosage ng folic din. Shes preggy with our 2nd baby now and 3 source nya ng folic. OB said mas ok na sobra kaysa kulang. No bad side effects naman daw.

Been taking folic acid too. But OMG anyone here notice weight gain due to this? I gained so much weight ever since I started taking it.

I'm taking Usana Vitamins and it says it has folic acid in it around 250mcg per pill. So I'm taking it 2x a day.

Do you think that would compensate even if it's a multivitamins with folic etc.

Taking Calcium and Bio Mega too.
