Tried checking Agoda today and saw na mas mahal charge nila kesa sa hotel mismo. Why ganon mga sis?

tama minsan mas mahal ang agoda wala pa yung tax na kasama dun kaya dapat check mo din yung rates sa mismong hotel minsan mas makakamura ka at may dagdag na freebies pag direct kang nagbook, credit card lang tinatangap nila

I booked our hotels for Dubai yesterday. So far, same rates lang yung quote ng hotels mismo sa akin and with agoda. Fortunately, I have remaining $25 off (from rewards points) and another 7% off for using BDO-Amex. Sulit na din!

me naman i contacted the hotel and they gave me discounted rate, quite lower than quoted sa website nila and lower than Agoda's rate. pero dahil may promo ang BPI na 8% discount tie up with Agoda, i ended up booking pa rin with Agoda

We also make sure to compare the rates of the hotel against rates ng Agoda. With agoda booking naman, I earn points that I can use to offset my bill for my next booking.

hi mga sis... please help... what's the email add of agoda? Nagbook kasi kami sa agoda via cc ng officemate ko... alam ko na tick ko yung booking for third party ata yun or somthing... kaso, nung n na send na yung hotel voucher, ang client name na nakalagay is yung name ng officemate ko... hindi namin kasama sa travel yung officemate ko... san ba pwedeng mag send ng email? kasi merong option sa agoda website na manage yung booking... kaso hindi naman kami nag register sa website nila prior booking. so hindi ko rin ma click yung manage your booking page nila... pls help mga sis.. thanks!

^You can try calling the hotel to make the necessary amendments. That's what we usually do.

Hi sis..need help. I booked at Agoda last Jan 8, 2014 but i did not receive a voucher on my email. It was said that they will send the voucher within 30 minutes. I sent them an email but they did not reply. Their office pala is in Thailand so international call charge if ever I call them. Did any of your encountered the same problem?

^sis, you can always retrieve your booking by going to the "My Account" tab and click the "My Booking" tab on the left side of the page.

If you didn't sign up prior to making a booking, just go to the FAQ section. Meron dun na topic on how to resend your hotel voucher to yourself.

^sis, I didn't sign up prior to my booking. I also read the FAQ section. It says that I can access by logging into account via self service link in the confirmation email. But the problem is, I did not receive a confirmation email.

I called the hotel yesterday, they said that agoda has not send them a booking reservation under my name. I also checked at BPI, the phone banker said that my purchase is still on "pending status". This is my first time to booked thru agoda, and my, its causing to much stress.

^magkaiba ba sis yung email add ng agoda account mo at paypal? nangyari ang ganyan sa akin akala ko ala confirmation paypal account ng bf ko gamit ko pero pangalan ko finill up ko sa form tapos yun pala nagbook sya under sa name ng bf ko dahil paypal account nya ang gamit.

^^since pending status yung payment mo hindi magpapadala ng confirmation email talaga. Automatic nagsesend ng email ang Agoda kung na-verify na nila yung credit card na gamit mo. I have used Agoda for domestic travel bookings and wala namang palya sa akin. I just have to wait a few minutes for their email to arrive.

Hindi kaya meron kang namali ng type when you entered your cc details? Nangyari na kasi sa akin yan (but not with Agoda) na na-typo ako sa cc details ko and pending yung status ng purchase ko. Then ultimately na-deny. I had to double check with my bank first kung talagang walang pumasok.

^ang sabi sa akin sa BPI hintayin ko na lang daw confirmation email. but when I asked them whether I can cancel the payment sabi hindi daw, merchant lang ang pwede mag-cancel. What should I do now?should I call agoda? or hintayin ko na lang na ma-deny ang payment?thanks!

^Yup correct yung merchant lang ang pwede mag-cancel. Send them an email if that fails no choice you have to call them na.

update: Agoda sent me an email that the said amount will be returned to my account 7-10 days. thank goodness they replied.

May step by step tutorial ba kayo on how to book via Paypal?
Plano kasi namin ng sis ko mag book at thru Paypal balance ang payment.
Tsaka do I need to present the cc or debit card upon check-in sa hotel? TIA!

Tried booking via agoda few times na, never had any problems with them.

^sis, if you checkout via paypal, no need to present CC sa hotel pagdating nyo dun, just the agoda voucher.

I suggest though na if you're traveling out of town on a low season, mas tipid pa din kung sa hotel mismo kayo magbobook. Before kase i traveled alone to Laoag, i remembered finding a hotel in agoda around 600/night. When i arrived at the hotel meron pala silang 295/night lang (it was october so bagsak presyo sila). Syempre sayang din yun diba. :-)
