I booked our hotel thru agoda rin. Malaki na-save ko kasi 6 nights almost php1100 (*6) natipid ko

Hello there, i am kinda worried with Agoda. My brother-in-law booked a room for us in SG as a gift.  However, when he sent me the voucher, it says there that it is a must to present the credit card used and a valid ID with photo. The problem is my brother-in-law is not travelling with us and he is in Canada.  I surely cannot present neither his credit card nor his ID to the hotel. ANyone who did a booking using another's credit card, please help

^sis im not sure if out of the country. kasi sa local hotel, they did not ask for my credit card. only I.D. I think its your ID naman ang hahanapin kasi its your name that is written in the voucher.

^^thanks sis Neng10, i already emailed the hotel to confirm the booking and asked them how would i do away with my problem. The hotel rep said that i just need to bring credit card (any card) to answer for any incidental charges (breakages, spa, mini-bar, etc) or deposit a certain amount. So, prob solved

Plus their refund process is quick. The email said it might take 10 business days or more, pero yung sa akin in 3 business days, okay na.

Though reminder to new users: Basahin mabuti yung booking conditions, because some of the great deals are also FULLY nonrefundable. Madami na yata nagkaissue dito, including a friend. Sayang yung 11k nya.  This is as per hotel rules, so hindi kasalanan ng agoda.

Mga sis help! Magbbook na sana kasi ako for Bali. gusto ko sana muna malaman yung regarding sa 50%  at sayang din yun.

Pag kunwari yung room rate is Php 2,500.00 tapos nakalagay Flash Deal - Super low rate – rate includes 50% discount!, may discount pa ba yung 2,500?

^@soulflygirl, 2,500 is already the discounted price. Look at this one: http://www.agoda.com/asia/indonesia/bali/the_catur_villa.html. The price displayed on the list is 103 USD for 1 bedroom luxury pool villa. After clicking Book It, the price is still 103 USD so it's already discounted.

Every time na uuwi fiance ko, He always booked our hotel thru agoda. Laki ng savings! We always go for a free breakfast with gym na hotel like H2O hotel sa UN <ang ayaw ko lang sa hotel na ito, konti ng taxi> and St. Giles sa Makati.

I booked 3 hotels for my trip this February, I cancelled the other 2. I have yet to see how it will show up in my cc billing statement. Free cancellation naman yung sa 2 hotels.

The hotel where I'll be staying still hasn't confirmed if my booking through Agoda went through. I'm hoping everything will go smoothly.

nagiging cheaper na ba ang rooms (intl) if palapit na ang day? like mga 4 to 5 days before? have you guys tried booking na medyo less than a week nalang mag chechek in na kayo?

FYI mga sis, there are times na mas mahal pa sa agoda kesa sa website mismo ng hotel. always double check.

^agree sis. meron din kasi mga hotels na may promos.
Like in my case, mas mura nakuha ko sa site ng hotel sa Bangkok.
ang laki din kasi ng taxes sa agoda.

Hi! Im not really sure if I posted in a right thread. Anyway, has anyone of you tried Agoda for hotel reservations? Any reviews? im looking for a cheaper way to book for my stay in Boracay. Thank you =)
