Agoda Booking online

anybody tried booking hotels online? through Agoda.com ?
is it safe ?
kasi i saw the rates are low than when through direct hotels, ok lang ba magpa book through Agoda? are there hidden charges?

sis, nakapag-book na ako sa twice sa agoda, although sa feb pa yung booked nights ko.

wala naman hindi charges sa booking ko. taxes lang yung dinagdag nila sa published rates nila. yung 1 night booking ko sa astoria plaza mga equivalent sa 600+ pesos, if i remember it right. secure site naman siya.

may nabasa akong review sa tripadvisor na may isang girl nag-book through agoda pagdating niya sa hotel di daw naka-register ang booking niya...kaya ginawa ko nag-send ako ng email dun sa 2 hotels na pinag-bookan ko to confirm na na-receive nila yung bookings ko....okay naman, confirm ed naman nila yung dates and rooms.

so paano ba un Agoda, book & buy na din un diba ?

yup, book and buy na siya. mabilis naman sila magpadala ng confirmation ng booking mo and payment.

tried it last year and it's safe.  no extra charges.  no problems checking in the hotel.

I just booked yesterday with agoda.com.  Will follow the advice of confirming with the hotel to avoid problem na lang in checking in.

For those, who were able to book already what currency did you use?

I used Philippine peso.

I agree na mabilis din mag send ng confirmation ang agoda.com.

agoda is safe.. no worrying needed.. i've booked there for more than 5 times already..and they have nice customer service.

how did you choose the currency in paying? kasi un pinapakita sa akin in $ kasi eh.

^Sis switlemonade, while checking for available rooms and rates there's a drop-down box and they have a lot of currencies to choose from.  You choose PHP then the room rates which was previously shown in USD will be shown in PHP.   HTH!

thanks sis! naka-pag pa book na ko, when confirmation meron din sila dun option if in $ or in Peso.

so far un naipa-book ko for Feb, cheaper ng mga 1000pesos than pag sa hotel mismo.

^^While I was checking other sites (direct room and others) Agoda has the lowest rates that's why i immediately book with Agoda.

@sandie888  try mo change un year. not sure if may options or try mo ulit now, baka nagkaron lang sila ng glitch

yup. safe dun...nakapag-book na kami thru agoda twice. wala namang problema.
