I'm currently waiting for ADB's decision. I went through preliminary interview last month and panel interview recently. Honestly, I never expected the interviewers to be that friendly. They smiled and made small jokes. A couple of times, they even helped me finish my sentences. Relaxed yung atmosphere kaya di nakakakaba and mas madali to compose my thoughts and to stay collected. It wasn't freezing cold in the conference room din and that helped a lot. Nakakatense kasi pag maginaw eh. Hehe.

Gusto ko talaga maging boss yung nagpanel sakin. That's how much I enjoyed speaking with them. I have no guarantee that I'll get the job, but I'm willing to try again and again until I get in.

^ How many days did you wait bago mo nareceive yung decision nila?

^sobrang bilis lang sa akin sis. i remember, i was interviewed thursday (May 5 last year), then may nareceive na kong pre-employment stuff nung May 9 (monday). though i think it depends sa position talaga. i have a friend, three months ata before sya nakatanggap ng reply after her interview.

By the way, did you resign from your previous job upon receiving the pre-offer? Or inintay mo pa yung contract signing with ADB bago ka nagresign?

^hinintay ko yugn contract signing sis. kasi di daw guarantee yung pre-offer.

^ Pending pa rin application ko, sis. I had 2 panel interviews (same day, same department) this week lang. I'm waiting for the result of that.

About 400 people apply for one vacant position so stiff ang competition. Try and try lang sabihin mo kay hubby.

After the long, arduous process and the very stressful wait - finally, I'm in. I signed my contract na and I'll be officially an ADB employee this Monday. Thank you Lord!

Hello! Question po para sa mga kakatanggap pa lang sa ADB. How long yung hiring? i submitted my online application last month and had no response from them yet. I really hope to get in. Any tips po?

Thanks. I received the pre-offer na. Pero ayoko pa rin maexcite nang sobra until makapirma na talaga sa contract. Syempre may mga requirements pa. I do hope everything goes well.

Hi sis! My friend and I applied for the same position in the loan and grant division - "Financial Control Assistant" to be exact.  Is there a possibility that both of us will be hired (assuming we passed all the interviews, exam and eventually be included in the shortlist)? Thanks!

By the way, I already passed the exam. I'm scheduled for a panel interview next week (2 foreign seniors and 1 Filipino).  Would you know the duration of the interview?

^ Isa lang naman yung vacant post so isa lang sa inyo yung makukuha for that post. Pero that doesn't mean your friend won't get hired. Most likely, he/she'd be referred to a different department.

The interview should last for only about 20-30 minutes. Galingan mo ha.
