Matagal pala ang hintayan when you apply at ADB.  You're lucky if you get called within 6 months (that's considered early!)

i sent an application here before. nag try lang ako although hindi ganon ka-competitive yung qualifications ko. i just tried my luck and this is my dream company. i was called for an interview, panel interview. I prayed and prayed na matanggap ako. the interview didn't turn out well. kabadong kabado ako. lahat yata ng questions nila hindi ko nasagot ng maayos LOL.  naiyak ako pag-uwi ko sa house coz I know hindi ako nkpasa, i was really disheartened.

but looking back, mas grateful ako sa work ko now.  i got a better job now w/ also the same benefits. God has a better plan for us.

inspiring sis...korek ka jan...God has a bigger plan for us..we just have to hold onto our faith..

i tried (and always) apply in their website.. but til now wala pa ako narereceive na call from them sad sad.. minsan nakakapagod na mag apply pero dahil gusto ko talaga work dito apply lang ng apply.. pag di ukol sayo di uukol.. nyahaha

^none yet, but i registered kasi sa site nila dedicated for vacancies, there i can check kung reject or pending application ko.. =)

^hmm.. nagloloko ang site na yon sa akin.  maybe bec i tried applying way before and may conflict with me reapplying again.  i did send an email and got an email back that my resume has been accepted and that i'll just be informed if i get shortlisted.

i praying hard that that's a good sign!

Hi sisses, does anyone know what level a Staff Development Administrator in ADB is? What NS level is it? Also, does anyone know how much the dependancy allowance for a child and wife is? Moreover, how long does it usually take to move from the minimum salary range to midpoint and then maximum? Does anyone know where I can get this info or who has it as its not any website. I think its best to ask someone working there and I noticed a few GTers work there, so hopefully you could share this info with us, thanks.

most of the posts here refer to working in ADB as staff but there are other routes you can try.

• staff - professional (medyo masalimoot ito kasi may quota system pa rin based on nationality and medyo officer positions - I think Level 2 and Level 3 entry parang P2 and P3 entry ng UN organizations

- in terms of benefits, syempre the usual blue plate, access sa commissary (PX goods), etc

• staff - local or support (admin) usually Level 4 ang entry as discussed by other sisses here. although i know of friends who even started at level 2. Mahirap makapasok sa Level 5 or Level 6 kasi usually agawan na yan sa loob pa lang and most of these positions are opened first internally before outside. Highest positions nito ay Level 9 - National Officer positions

PS and AS are both hired via HR, ID color - white

• consultants -  these positions are hired via COSO - red ID for international long term and blue ID for domestic/national consultants. • contractors -

these positions are hired via firms or agencies. You are an employee of the agency. These includes mostly IT (helpdesk), concessionaires (cafeteria, printing, drivers, guards, etc) - yellow ID -- medyo kumbaga sa food chain.. eto ang nasa bottom.

in terms of benefits - first two are best pero in terms of salary, consultants can sometimes be paid higher than first two depende sa expertise.
