WandaWits, I give my son the recommended dosage but I use Spectrum Essentials Cod Liver Oil. Ang recommended dosage is 1tsp or 5ml. If di ka comfortable, maybe you can half the dosage?

^ sis im actually asking about the adult dose...i read here kasi that you are also taking cod liver oil. anyway, my son is taking seven seas with cod liver oil, just the same 10 ml for his age. medyo gusto ko nga talaga i-half ang dose kasi masyado ako nalalaputan and parang it's too strong naman.

WandaWits, if I'm not mistaken, cod liver oil capsules are really small, aren't they?
I take 5ml/day so baka comparable lang yon.

My 5.9year old daughter has been taking Scott's since December. Her pedia prescribed it because she has a history of primary complex. My daughter loves the taste, similar to Royal (the softdrink) daw. So far malaki improvement, she doesn't easily gets colds, and when she does, in 2 days okay na.

my 1 year old baby is perfectly healthy, pwede din ba sya magtake ng cod liver oil mga sis? matagal ko na kasi nababasa na nakakatalino ang dha,yun nga lang sa breast milk lang daw may enough dha..i stopped breast feeding my baby since he was 2 mos old. may nabasa akong article na you can supplement your baby with dha by massaging his body with cod liver oil, since pwede naman pala itake ng baby yun what brand would you suggest for a 15 month old baby?dosage? i already asked my baby's pedia regarding supplementing my baby with dha pero hindi daw yun recommended baka may side effects daw if hindi natural, the best pa din daw ang breastmilk and healthy foods.. sayang nga yung nabili ko sa mercury, when i asked for cod liver oil yung rhea na brand binigay sakin..

right now i'm 37weeks pregnant, gusto ko din mag supplement ng fish oil to nourish my baby's brain development, i heard maganda daw ang omega3, kaya lang anong brand ang safe?pumayag naman ob ko na magtake ako ng omega3 yun nga lang wala syang binigay na prescription, sa mercury yung trianon omegabloc 1000mg ang binigay sakin, i wonder if its safe, plano ko kasi ituloy tuloy while
breastfeeding

^Sa amin din hindi ni-recommend ng pedia basta kumakain naman daw ng fish.  Give your baby bangus belly (like in sinigang), mayaman dinyun sa DHA.  O lugaw with ground toasted dilis.

^^if you plan to take fish oil while pregnant better get the pharmaceutical grade, it might cost you more but its the safest and purest. Be wary of other low end products coz it might contain traces of mercury. Be selective din when youre going to eat fish coz some fishes has mercury din like swordfish, tuna, blue marlin and other big fish. Btw, fish oil supplements thins the blood so you should stop taking them a week before you give birth. Resume nalang after you have recovered from giving birth.

^^Pwede. Kailangang malutong ang pagkaluto para madaling i-grind. My 4yo child eats dilis (and loves it too) whole and can chew it by herself (kumpleto na ngipin).
