yes, my son has been taking it since he turned one year.
Actually, we all take cod liver oil except for my infant daughter. She'll start taking it when she turns a year also.

I use Spectrum brand. But I've read good reviews abt Nordic Naturals. Sanay na lang kami with Spectrum kaya we use it.
And yes, we still take our multivitamins.
We don't regularly take a separate vit. C unless we're coming down with something.

Dr. Dimalanta is also my son's developmental pedia, he recommended Nordics cod liver oil din pero walang stock nung nagpacheck up baby ko. Are there other stores that sell Nordics cod liver oil?

^I'm not sure about the levels of Omega-3, vitamin A and vitamin D (kung pareho with Nordic Naturals because even Spectrum has different quantities) but Scott's IS Cod liver oil

Hi! I'm a newbie here.. Anyway, just wanna ask where to buy the Nordic Naturals? Is it in liquid form? the other day i bought the Child Life Essential Fatty Acids at healthy options. It contains omega 3, 6 and 9 from flaxseed and olive oil. Now, i dont know if fish oil is better because the omega 3 is much higher? Does it really improve a child's focus, attention, mood and communication? Im just concerned that the taste and smell might be a little fishy for my son. Im also giving him echinacea syrup and i think it worked for him cause he didnt catch my colds.. Well, thanks in advance..  ;D

I know a few moms who prefer flaxseed over fish oil because less allergenic ang flaxseed.
Ako naman kasi, I prefer cod liver oil since you need to take less of it in order to get the same amount of essential fatty acids. I think it has something to do with the way our body processes flaxseed vs fish oil.
As far as echinacea, we only take it at the onset of an illness. It is not recommended for prolonged use.

my 24 month old son also takes scott's emulsion 1 tsp a day plus his usual cherifer and clusivol C.
pang boost nga daw ng immune system and cod liver oil. and di mahirap pa inum sa son ko kasi orange flavor siya. masarap siya actually :)

jaiaquino, my sister and I were just talking about cod liver oil and she says na ang available sa HO is the Healthy Options brand and it is in the gel capsule form. HO carries Spectrum Organics flaxseed oil though (it's in their refrigerated section).
