ilan hours bago dapat uminit ang laptop?

yong s akin kase toshiba siya, 2yrs with me, after 30mins ang init na niya mga 1 hour as in ang init na parang halos di mahawakan...ganun ba talaga? now ko lang kase na-notice na ganun kabilis uminit. may sira kaya?

30 minutes? as in parang oven toaster na yung temp? grabe naman nun ang bilis uminit, pa check up mo na kaya sis?

oo sis as in parang oven toaster sa init pero mahawakan pa naman pero mainit talaga...could it be its fan?

not reALLY  a good practice but i have this habit of resting the screen instead the bottom part in my lap.. Di naman nagagasgas yun cover since its protected with ishield. I found out kapag free yung bottom part hindi siya agad nagheheat. ang trouble naman kasi magdala pa ako ng fan wherever i go

the msi cr400 im using init agad. i think depende un sa position ng chassis (fan) sa loob ng laptop mo.. pero kahit yung gmit ko sa gilid [textspeak!] vent, init nia pdin huhu. it happened kc i often place pillows under the lappy kaya di na efficient [textspeak!] fan . just recently knew na hinigop ng fan [textspeak!] minute particles ng fabrics kaya it's best to put your laptop on a hard surface.

planning to buy a fan table kc summer na sobrang init na kawawa naman pc db.. but the one i eyed for is out of stock na. anyway ...

Mine's an ASUS Seashell, mga 3-4 hours bago uminit. and by "init" i meant lukewarm

i got my laptop cleaned sa Dr. Laptop in Cash & Carry kanina. ang bilis na kasi uminit, mga wala pang 10 minutes na naka-on parang nakakapaso na    yun pala ang dumi na inside, di ko pa kasi napapaclean since i bought this December 2008 pa. the technician said ang kapal ng alikabok inside, halos hindi na makapag-function ang fan kaya pala ang bilis uminit. now, after having it cleaned, naka-on laptop ko almost 3 hours na - hindi pa din umiinit.

^ Sis, magkano yung service? Hmm, looks like i need to have mine cleaned din ah. Reason din pala yung alikabok sa pag init ng laptop. Yung sakin kasi umiinit sya after 30mins to an hour. Depende din sa panahon.

I do that too! Esp. kung iiwan ko ng medyo matagal pag may download ako. But most of the times, tinatayo ko sya sideways. Safe naman kasi naka-pa-letter-V yung tayo nya at supported ng sides ng screen at nung keyboard. hehe basta may angle sya na matutumba at may angle na sturdy yung pagkakatayo. I do that sa bed lang and never sa table. If it decides to tumble down, malambot yung babagsakan! Yeah, I know. Bad practice yung ginagawa ko.  But it works for me.

I do have a fan naman. Like now, may fan sa ilalim. Pero umiinit pa din. Hindi maka-circulate ng maayos yung hangin. What I do, naglalagay ako ng 'kalso' sa edge in between the fan and the laptop. Pwedeng maliinit na libro, remote ng TV or anything available. LOL! Works just fine too!

Despite knowing better, I have a bad tendency of laying the top of my screen on my lap when I work. The cover won't get damaged because it's covered by an ishield. When the bottom was unrestrained, she didn't overheat even when the temperature was high. The problem is that I attract fans wherever I go, which is a major nuisance.
