Could anyone please post any comment/review about this school in Brookside, Cainta? I'm planning to enroll my son in preschool.

Would also appreciate if you could recommend other good schools in Cainta or Antipolo.

My son goes to school here. Pre-school, Elementary...and now High School na siya at Marcos. He doesn't want to transfer.

Plus side: Family environment. They don't call teachers Miss or Teacher. They call everyone Tito and Tita. Kinda weird the first time, but in more than 8 years with the school, nasanay na rin ako. It's so close-knit. Everyone knows everybody. The young kids know my son, the elder kids ganun rin. In the class they only limit it to 25 students. Two teachers, plus a teacher aide. Pag elementary, wala ng teacher aide, but still tutok with two teachers. I like it this way, kasi each child talaga napapansin (both good and bad behavior).

That's one of the reasons why I was okay with my son not moving to a bigger school. (The other was malapit kasi, ayaw ng anak ko as traffic hehe. We live in Valley Golf). Kasi feeling ko it helps him to be in an environment like this where parang kapamilya mo young nasa school. More than academics, they emphasize on values.

Nega side: Since it's small knit, a fairly small school compared to Ateneo, etc….admittedly, the kids don't come out as competitive as the others, academically. But to me naman, that's not important kasi so okay lang.

They had lay-offs last year, cut the teaching staff in half or something….But so far, over-all…I like the teachers, they really treat the kids like their children, are like second parents. If you send younger kids there, it would be helpful for their character development.

Thanks for the replies. How much is the annual tuition fee? I hope you don't mind me asking.

I'm also thinking of enrolling him in San Beda-Rizal but I haven't heard any feedback about that school.

Tuition is around 35k-42k, plus books and misc, more or less you'd have to prepare 50k. There are 4 payment types --- full, half, quarter and monthly. If you prepare quarter or monthly, you'd have to pay at least 18k-24k upon enrollment. The rest will be broken down with every payment schedule (first of the month).

My son's elementary classmates are mostly in San Beda now, for high school. Some of them would like to go back to Morning Dew…..San Beda experience is different for them, plenty of kids in the classroom, against one teacher only. Plenty of sections too. My son's former classmates are complaining there is an assignment almost everyday and I;m thinking it's because sa dami ng kids, they have to rely on homeworks for learning mas madalas. I don't know if that's good or bad though.  That's the only feedback I can attest to be true.

Are you looking into the schools near the stretch along Ortigas Ave. Ext area lang? Not much choices no?

There's also La Salle (San Benilde) along Marcos hi-way sis. Tapos in Sumulong may Monterssori Integrated School. I've been told before, nung maliit pa anak ko to check out Lorenzo school in Felix Ave, nakikita mo yun if you go to Sta Lucia Mall hehe. My friend's daughter goes to school there, okay rin naman. 

As for MDM's pre-school program....it's good rin naman. Kids have a lot of learning activities. Field trips, a learning trip, and this fair na parang pinaghalong fiesta and educational activity. During my son's time, kids were usin Learning Activities rin, it's this sheet of paper na parang test paper. That's everyday.
