When we say potluck, pinoys bring panghanda like pansit, lumpiang shanghai, while the Canadians will bring raw veggie platter, fruit platter, crackers with homemade dip. Lugi lagi pinoy. haha.

Kwento lang, my husband works in a manufacturing company particularly planes so they are very strict sa environment inside the facility because any foreign object might harm the parts of the planes. Marami silang pinoy dun. their favorite snack is mani yung may balat na red with garlic and salt. One time, the head maintenance daw, a Canadian, asked every staff ng maintenance to vacuum all the "dirt" because the place was so dirty at hindi nya alam kung saan galing yun. but the dirt was actually remnants of the peanuts. so they were laughing and pointing at each other kung sino daw yung "nagpapagpag" pa ng kamay sa area with all the balat, salt and garlic pieces.
