also, this might be a bit ewww, but apparently only pinoys use water and soap after doing a number two. the others use toilet paper... loads and loads of it. Can someone please confirm?

^tama ka sis, tayo lang gumagamit ng water and soap. tissue lang sa kanila. i am not 100% sure ha pero sa na observe ko.

-may maid sa bahay kahit middle class lang.

-mahilig humingi ng pasalubong lalo na kung galing ibang bansa ang kakilala.

-malinis sa katawan. araw araw naliligo.

-magaling mag english.

aren't we clean?   yup, we are i think the only ones, but i guess the rest of the world is learning, thus the bidet.

sabi nga ni dr oz sa oprah, if you had poop on your hand, would you be happy just wiping it off with toilet paper?  of course not, you wash your hand with soap and water.  and that's what's the bidet is for.  and thanks to pinoys, people are learning this now.

sis correction lang po. may mga australians akong nakikita nagpapayong under the sun. usually nga lang mga matatanda. pero meron ding hindi.

skin cancer daw is the number 1 cancer in Aus according to the gov't's TV commercial. thus a significant number of people here wear specialized clothing pag nag swiswim sila. (they look like moisture wicking fabics) therefore maraming "conscious" sa araw. may mga clothes dito na may rating for UV radiation, neck coolers (cloth na binabasa), uso ang shades, etc...

Pagkakamay is not a pinoy signature I guess. Kahit ibang asian countries ata.

Here in Indonesia, when eating at Mcdo or KFC, if you won't ask for spoon and fork, walang ibibigay sayo. Kasi, by default, magkakamay ang Indonesians. Lalaban ba tayo dyan? 

I guess Balut is.. Just by describing what a balut is, they get disgusted. Hehe. Ang mga langya, mapili..

this is just IMO:

You're probably a filipino if: (NB- probably, not absolute)

- nokia is the only acceptable mobile phone manufacturer in the face of the earth. And it has to be manufactured in FINLAND! ( iphone na siguro ngayon?)

- same goes to SONY for televisions, cameras and everything else. Even a fake SONI logo will do!  HONDA for cars, LV/Gucci for high end bags,  D&G Light blue for perfume!

-your profile picture in your friendster or facebook account is you holding your high-end DSLR

-(if you're a girl) you absolutely have to brush your teeth after lunch.

- you need a fork and knife to eat chicken wings or fried chicken drumstick or pizza.

- you ask for napkins to wrap around any cold beverage in a cup.

again, as this is not a thread dedicated to actually and perfectly determine your nationality as a Filipino, but is merely asking for common Filipino characteristics for the sake of humor, some comments may be applicable to other nationalities as well.

I usually know if someone is Filipino when they take photos in front of/inside Starbucks, making sure the store's logo and the logo from their drink cups are visible! Nakakahiya minsan.

Maybe if you have a pair of mini boxing gloves with the Philippine flag pattern and PHILIPPINES written on them that hang in your cars reran view mirror. Lol!
I wanted a car accessory that bears a Filipino symbol but didn't want a sticker or the small Philippine flag that sticks to the window.
So now I have the mini boxing gloves on my rear view morrow
