We got married ni Hubby (civil palang naman) last Dec 2014 .. and I think siguro dapat ko na ayusin lahat.. dapat po ba BIR muna then SSS? kasi sa mga previous po here ..ang nakita ko is BIR then SSS then PagIbig and Philhealth ...

i think sis pwede naman kahit ano mauna its up to you. if you are employed mas madali kasi ask HR lang ng mga forms na dapat mo fill up then sila na din magsubmit ng change status request mo sa mga government offices. ibibigay naman nila sayo yung receiving copy after eh.

pero beware sa SSS kasi in my case nagchange status ako last nov 2014 pa tapos nung nagrequest ako ng new ID this Feb 2015 hindi pa nagrereflect yung changes meaning hindi pa naupdate ni makati branch (sila yung nagreceive ng request ko for change name and status) yung changes kaya inulit ko ulit pero saglit lang naman kasi same counter lang, nagfill out lang ulit ako ng form.

^pag employed sa private company mas mabilis talaga kasi mag-fillup lang ng form then forward kay HR except for SSS, Bank Account, Credit Card and Passport. Nag-practice na din ako kung anong signature ang isusulat ko if ever. Excited much! Ganda kasi apelyido ni husband e. My name will sound like a famous singer back in 90s tee hee!

Here are the items na inayos ko after I got married:

c/o company HR:

1. BIR: Accomplished BIR 2305 (Certificate of Update of Exemption and of Employer’s and Employee’s Information) to update my civil status and Tax Exemption Unit.
2. SSS: Accomplished SSS E4 (Member's Data Amendment Form) to change my civil status, name and dependent (included my husband)
3. Philhealth: Accomplished Philhealth Member Registration Form to change my marital status, name and dependents (included my husband)
4. PAGIBIG: Accomplished Member's Change of Information Form (MELF) to change my marital status and additional heir
5. Company ID: now bearing my married name
6. Payroll Account and ATM: now bearing my married name
7. Company Health Plan: included my husband as dependent

Government IDs c/o me:

1. Passport: required to bring copy of NSO marriage certificate, and copy of old passport plus fees
2. Driver's License: required to bring copy of NSO marriage certificate plus fees --> PENDING
3. PRC ID: required to bring copy of NSO marriage certificate plus fees --> PENDING
4. Unified ID for SSS/Pag-Ibig/Philhealth: I just went to an SSS office, filled up a form, processed it (surrender the old ID), pay fees and after 2 months, the ID was delivered to our house.

I still haven't tried getting the following kasi di pa naman kelangan: NBI Clearance, Voters ID (I'm not sure how to update this. I guess I can still vote next year with my maiden name.)

Banks and Utilities c/o me:

1. Bank Accounts: Savings and Current Accounts, Credit Card --> PENDING
2. Utility Bills: Like phone bill, cable
3. Rewards Cards: Like SM, Robinsons, Starbucks, Waltermart and Mercury Drug

Online Accounts and Others c/o me:

1. Email Accounts: Yahoo, Gmail
2. Payment Sites: Like Paypal etc.
3. Dealsites: Like Ensogo, Metrodeal etc.
4. Social Accounts: Like facebook, instagram, twitter etc.

^Thank sis barbillie for the info. Grabe noh sobrang dami palang aasikasuhin? Pero nag-start na din akong mag-update ng status and name ko thru HRD. Sa VL ko na lang aasikasuhin yung government IDs since di pa naman available yung Marriage Cert namin sa NSO.

sis annamarie88, naku eto yung naihuli kong asikasuhin. Hindi ko pa sya nagagawa kaya pending pa! hehe! Anyway, I'm planning to go on VL on of these days para asikasuhin 'to.

sis imprincessfiona, yep! super dami talaga! Buti na lang yung company namin ang umayos ng most of the things na importante, pero sasakit naman ang kamay mo magfill up ng forms kasi more than one copy yung sinasubmit.

hi mga sis!magchange status din ako sa SSS.i have an id nung single pa ako at kukuha akong new id na married na,sabi sa akin I need to pay daw 300 for the new id.totoo ba yun mnga sisses?thanks sa tugon.

sis kiracharlie, since it takes a while to get an NSO-certified copy, okay lang sa HR namin to provide kahit Certified true copy lang from the local registry.

sis Jdamar2015, the first SSS ID/UMID ID is free. However, if for replacement, even if change of name due to marriage, you still have to pay the fee. I forgot how much pero di naman lalagpas ng 300. You have to surrender your old ID. In my case, I declared it lost so I have to present pa an affidavit of loss.

I have question regarding nbi sis, pupunta lang ba ako sa nbi tapos normal process pa rin kahit wala pa yung nso copy ng married cert?
Want to know kasi im getting married, eh magpapa red ribbon sana ako ng ibang documents ko para sabay sabay na after couple of months ng wedding.

Meron bang nakaramdam sa inyo na parang ayaw nyo iwan yung last name nyo when you were still single. I kind of feel that way dati.. buti ngaun hindi na..

Sis maukris, eto mga requirements for nbi clearance:

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS NEEDED?

Bring TWO (2) Valid Identification Cards and of course Money for Payment for Application. Old NBI Clearance is also a requirement if you are renewing.

The following are considered Valid Identification Cards:

Voter’s I.D.
Postal I.D.
SSS I.D.
GSIS I.D.
PRC License
Driver’s License
Company I.D.
School I.D.
Valid Passport
ACR (for aliens)
Senior Citizen I.D.
Philhealth I.D.
NSO Birth Certificate can be a Valid ID IF and ONLY IF you don’t have the second ID needed.

Additional Requirements for Change of Marital Status

Marriage contract will do if you want to change your status. From Single to Married.
You can also bring also your old NBI Clearance if available.
At least two (2) Valid ID listed above

Kung widow ba and may plans to remarry, need ba na mag-change muna ng civil status to widowed bago payagan magpakasal or ipapakita lang ang death certificate ng previous spouse sa simbahan?

BIR - dito ako nahihirapan. My RDO is in Mandaluyong then I live in San Pedro pa, company's RDO is in Pasay naman. Do I really need to go ba sa Mandaluyong? What are the requirements pala in BIR? Thanks!

^sis AFAIK company na ang maglalakad nun. in my case, i asked for a form ng update status sa company ko. then fill it up. sila na nag lakad. are you trying to change your status from single to married ba or you're trying to change RDO? Theres a specific form if you are changing RDO ata. Alam dapat yun ng HR nyo.
