^ sis yung maiden name ko nasa visa ko. if you will declare na married ka na, another set of visa. isusurrender mo old visa mo and apply for a new one. no guarantee they will give you again. That's from the US Embassy.

Sisters who have their US Visa and tried visiting US using your maiden name, may naging problem po ba kayo sa immigration? Do you have to declare na you are married?

I'm new here as you can see, and I'm so confused because kelangan ko mg change lahat ng ID's ko including my voter's ID which is ngayon ko lang nkuha sa katagal tagal kong hinintay andito na sya tapos eto i got married. Hahahah! 

My question is yung sa BIR, if you change your status, ano po yung process? Tpos [textspeak!]-ano yung mga requirements na kelangan? Mdali lang ba? I was looking for some info sa BIR na website pero wala akong nkita eh.

ito din ang problema ko. i just got married July 2011, then got pregnant agad. pano ako mag-aapply ng sss benefits for maternity kung hindi pa narerelease yung marriage cert from NSO?  pati bank account, hindi ako makapagopen.

ang hirap pa nito, yung mga government IDs ko eh matagal pa ang expiry. kakarenew ko lang last year ng passport and driver's license.

question po, dapat ba yung marriage certificate e isusubmit sa kanila so dapat ba i should prepare photocopies of it? how about driver's license? over 2 years na akong kasal pero ni isa wala pa akong napapachange.  hala.

Sa sss they accept naman yong marraige certificate from the Local Civil Registrar (where you where married). Attach mo lang 'yon certified true copy ng marraige cert nyo sa Mat1 mo. In my case kasi hindi tinanggap ng sss yong marraige cert ko from local civil registrar kasi may nakita silang erasure, eh tinamad na akong kumuha ng certified true copy kaya hinantay ko pa yong cert from NSO. Nasa 5months on the way na ako nung nakapag-file ng Mat1 ko sa sss.

hi sis, nakapag-pa-update na me ng TIN/BIR need lang ng copy ng marriage certificate. pero you need to present pa rin the original.
bale yung sa BIR mismo, yung HR namin ang nag-asikaso, basta fill-up lang me ng form and bigay me copy ng marriage certificate at yung original pinadala ko din. then submit nya sa BIR branch na sakop ang office namin.
then yung TIN naman, personal me nagpunta dun sa BIR office, fill-up ng form and show ko yung marriage certificate ko. then binigyan ako ng date if when ko pede ma-pick-up yung ID

Wala naman akong naging problem sis sa Us immigration, using my us visa bearing my maiden's name, while yung passport ko bears na my married name. Siguro naka 6 or 7 na ko na US trip na ganun pero hindi naman hiningi ever yung proof or docus re my married status although for safety, dala ko din lagi ang marriage certificate ko.

sis maevhick, dito ka ba sa pinas nagwowork? ganun ba kahigpit sa company nyo that you really need to wear or use an ID bearing your married name? kasi when i got married, although i informed my company to change my surname, pero for them that's not a big issue. im am still who i am.
I also work in another company as part-time since feb 2008 ( i got married dec 2008) pero last month lang ako binigyan ng bago na id having my married name. no big deal with me. as long as narerecieve ko pa rin yung same benefits ko, when i was single single.
with regards to SSS id, are you sure they are really trying to put your ID on hold? and when you apply for sss id, during the application pa lang, hihingan ka na ng reqmts like marriage certificate, if duda sila then dapat during the application pa lang di na nila accept yun, or ask you for other proof.kasi usually din naman or normal na sa SSS ang mabagal nila pag-process or pag-issue ng ID. when I applied for ID at SSS due to change of name, i took 4-5 months before I recieved my new ID.
or why dont you try to call at SSS, baka naman my naging problem din sa system nila, kaya nadedelay. kasi it happened na rin sakin yun before eh, system failure daw.

Question lang mga sis, kung magpapalit ako ng civil status, do I need to go sa Main Office ng SSS,HDMF, BIR & Philhealth?
or pwede na kahit sa mga regional offices lang nila?

^^ Sis, I think yung BIR, dun ka pupunta kung saan ka nagbabayad ng tax. Like me, sa Pasay ako nagwowork, sa BIR pasay ako pupunta.Yung SSS, Philhealth and PAG IBIG pwede na sa malapit na branch sayo.

Ngayon palang din ako nag aasikaso ng civil status ko, nung November 2011 pa ako kinasal. Dito muna ako sa office namin nagpapalit ng last name, tapos sunod ko na yung iba pag may time. Need ko agad ma change ang status ko at dependent ko sa BIR para may tax refund ako next year.

Yun sa case ko kasi nung December pa ako nagresign then I got married ng Feb tapos this August mag start na ako ng work sa new company, ang advise sa akin ako daw dapat ang mag asikaso nang change of status ko kasi nga I got married nung hindi pa ko nagsisimula magwork sa company nila

really? baka katulad ng office amin yan walang liason officer kaya ikaw pinapalakad sayo. pero sinc magtstart ka na this august, bigay mo copy ng marriage cert mo para ang ID na issue sayo married name na at least may isa ka ng ID na married name ang nakalagay.

Nako nagworry naman ako sis.. Nakapagpasa na ko ng mat1 2mos ago kase 2mos preggy na ko pero ikakasal palang ako this Nov. magkakaproblem ba ko sa maternity benefits nun sis? Baby will be due by feb. not sure kung available na ang MC by then.

Pati ba yung voter's ID ipapapalit din? Kaloka! Oo nga pala, nung bumoto ako di pa ko kasal. From what I've heard available na ang mga IDs sa city hall. XD nakakatamad pumunta

Ako mag-4 yrs nang married but ang IDs ko lang with my married name are my driver's license and company ID which I both got after I got married. Updated naman na status ko sa SSS, philhealth and pag-ibig but not my IDs. By Monday magpagawa nako ng SSS ID, sana pwede na sa branch near us, hassle pa kasi pagpunta sa main. Yun voter's ID ko ang si ko pa na-update, san ba pwede papalit nun?

mga sis pa help naman po..kasi nagpa change status na ako sa bir/sss/philhealth pero yung signature ko di ko binago eh..yung old signature parin nalagay ko which is my maiden name is readble, wala ba magiging problem dun? nasanay na kasi ako dun..now ko lang naisip na di ko napalitan.. kukuha na kasi sana ako id..di kaya sila magtataka lalo na now magpapalit din ako ng atm ko nid ko kasi palitan surname ko dun  di ba magtatanong bank kung bakit yun parin signature ko? need some advices.tnx

I have the same question.. I actually am not planning to change my signature.. May issueba yun pag ganun?
