Hi sis! uy taga-better ako but di ko napansin ever yung Mang Ambong's san side ito sis? Nanay ko kasi loyal sa Barriato's BBQ sa Dona Soledad though I know meron pang isang barbeque place Andang's.  Iba pa ba yung Mang Ambong's sa bagong Barriato's (na kamag-anak din daw nung orig na Barriato's)?

beside BDO (corner france)... sila yung "original" yung name before 'cause i think mang ambong used to work for barriatos. i don't know the real story behind it pero 17 years na kami dito and sila yung nakapwesto doon sa may "barriatos" na sign now... so technically magkatapat sila, and mas madami talagang customers si mang ambong! we even ordered 50 sticks from him last christmas tapos kami lang nag-grill sa batangas

My all time fave would be Aling Nene's bbq, the one near Pablo Ocampo (formerly Vito Cruz). Masarap yung timpla nung bbq, matamis at maanghang, hindi matigas yung meat kahit kainan kinabukasan, and it goes well with their suka mix. Plus, the taba pala, sinful pero the best. I've tried Ineng's and Heavens and the ones in the restos and on the streets, but Aling Nene still tops my list.

Sa ado's panciteria sa pasig may bbq din and nabasa ko dati 1 post ng GTer na may delivery sila.
@u8mypink, sis bago pa sumikat si ineng's at si amber's institusyon na sa bbq ang aling nene's masarap at may choice ka if regular or yung walang taba. Pero nagustuhan ko ineng's nung bago pa sila sa market2x.

^ i remember gano kahaba pila sa Ineng's nung bago palang. Until now, gusto ko pa rin Ineng's We bought a pack of cooked bbq from SM Weekend Market last Friday. Okay talaga, mura pa.

Ate at Hawaiian BBQ in Tagaytay last weekend.  Sarap ng baby back ribs!  Melts in your mouth talaga.

masarap yung bbq sa slex.. petron at caltex station yata meron silang kiosk..di ko lang maalala yung name kung floring or florencio or florendo.. hehe.. super malaman at malasa. medyo pricey lang. nasa 50 or 60 pesos yata per stick pero sulit naman dahil sa laki..

Aling Nene also has delivery service pero I don't know until where they deliver. Tama si Sis stormy, institusyon na talaga ang Aling Nene. Meron na din sila direct competition, yung Aling Neng Neng's. Pero don't buy there kasi they claim sila yung orig pero hindi naman.

^Alam ko yung story nung Aling Nene at Aling Neng Nengs kasi nagrent ako sa condo dati na owner ng both. Pero, ang orig talaga yung Aling Nene. Ako nga din nag crave ng bbq ever since I stumbled upon this thread. Sarap pa naman ng taba ng Aling Nene.
