I have this idea kasi pag gruesome. Di pumasok dun sa criteria ko yung Hunger Games. Which made me think, ganun ba ko ka-gory na tao? haha

Ang daming may nagbabasa nito last year sa school. na curious ako, bumili ako dalawa agad, The Hunger Games and Catching Fire. Kasi excited ako.

Natapos ko agad yung The Hunger Games, maganda, nakaka suspense, at medyo umaandar imagination ko. Ang dali pa basahin.

pero yung Catching Fire, halos mag kakalahating taon na, diko pa rin matapos. Parang ayaw ko na nga tapusin, hindi na ganon ka suspense. Akala ko ako lang may problema nito. marami din pala nakaka feel na hindi matapos tapos basahin ito.

yung first book for me is talagang exciting. hindi ko inaasahan na ganun magiging reaction ko. yung tipong kahit nasa labas ng bahay at hindi nagbabasa, iniisip ko pa din siya! lol.

but pagdating sa second book, yun medyo may mga boring moments na but i never thought of not finishing it. siguro kasi may pagka realistic din siya. i mean may mga scenes kasi na depressed yung mga characters at traumatized kaya nag focus lang dun at mabagal ang story. but that's one thing i like about this trilogy, pagdating sa character building, e "built na built" talaga! lol

i am on the fence with the casting choices ng movie. but i am still hoping for the best. I mean josh Hucherson (tama ba spelling) is actually a good actor and I love him in the kids are allright.... so sana maging ok ang movie.

I've read the trilogy and finished it a few months ago. Nothing really special for me pero ok lang kasi the message it conveyed was good. I don't think it was gruesome or gory. Medyo dismal lang yung situation . Medyo boring narin yung 3 rd part pero read on lang para matapos niyo rin kasi ok lang naman yung ending.

As for the movie, I thought Katniss will be played by Kaya Scodelario, girl-crush ko pa naman siya, ang ganda kasi niya and ang astig niya sa Skins.

^My friend told me that too. Yung 1st book lang nagustuhan niya. Yung 2nd and 3rd daw medyo nawala na yung ganda.

Magaling din umarte si Jennifer Lawrence pero she looks too old for the part. I was imagining a younger girl na medyo thin and small.
