It was a bittersweet ending.  I'm glad she killed Pres. Coin, imagine starting another Hunger Games?! Good to know that Peeta stayed with her and she's absolutely right, what she needed is Peeta's peace and loving nature, she's enough of a fireball as it is. it's just too bad that soooo many died including Prim who just wants to be a doctor

i just finished reading the whole series for a day. walang tulugan. hehe. but it was all worth the pagod. hahaha. i guess i have to buy the book though, e-book lang kasi for the second and third book.

I liked the first and second books but was sorely disappointed with the third book. I could understand the points she wanted to get across but the writing was sort of sloppy and disjointed na. I was thinking, ano to? Sobrang hindi na ba nya na-maintain ang momentum? Or was she busy na working with the script/screenwriters, if ever man tuloy ang movie? Masyado na kasing convenient yung ibang parts ng third book.

I am now in the 2nd book and konti na lang matatapos ko na.  Ok naman siya, parang Lord of the Flies na mas exciting, tipong you feel for the characters esp. Katniss.

i just finished book 1. i'm having difficulties looking for the paperback of catching fire, even if i tried to order in fullybookedonline, out of stock din sila. kainis, nabibitin ako e.

sa ebook format ko lang nabasa itong trilogy na ito. i don't generally like series pero exception itong Hunger Games. Fave ko na siya, hehe. Nung natapos ko yung 3rd book, i have this gnawing feeling. I like the fact na si ___ ang nakatuluyan niya but nalungkot lang talaga ako dahil namatay yung ibang favorite characters ko.

^ I agree with all the other sisses here, 3rd book was a disappointment to me...compared to the first two ha...i am thinking about trying the Underland Chronicles but it doesn't seem interesting enough...

Mga sisses, can't wait for the Hunger Games movie. $60 Million daw ang budget at si Gary Ross ang director, pero wala pang cast.

wala na, ewan pero nabore na ko sa Mockingjay, andon pa lang ako sa chapter 3   sad naman ako!  kasi parang Lord of the Flies na ang ikot ng story.  Pero, try ko pa rin tapusin, sayang naman...

OMG meron pa lang thread na about sa hunger games series. I so love this series! and im excited na rin sa movie nto. I think if the producers will do it right, it will surpass the popularity of twilight (na napaka absurd ng story).

Me, im not disappointed with the last book. for me syempre pinakamaganda pa din yung first book. para sakin naging realistic lang yung third book since they are in war. and i like the fact that the characters are made with realistic experiences and emotions. like post traumatic stress after torture or the war. talagang feel na feel ko kung pano sila nahirapan mag move on from the aftermath of the games and the real war itself. lalo na nung halos mabaliw so peeta. ayoko kasi nung mga story na after a very stressful event, biglang happy ending na agad. napaka unrealistic kasi nun. sa tunay na buhay kasi dba, when horrible things happen..nattraumatize tayo..which actually happened to the characters of the hunger games series. kaya hats off ako kay suzanne collins..for letting her characters come alive by letting us feel their emotions.
