^If you start your policy this 2011, yung 5th year mo would be 2016.

5th year to the 14th year = You'll get 10% of the maturity value for 10 years yun bale. Kaya kung 30,000 yung 10%, you'll get 30,000 for 10 years.

Then at the end of the 15th year, maturity na, you'll get the maturity value. Kung 300k yun, 300k ang makukuha mo.

Kaya doble, 600k ang total benefits.

Yes maganda nga, you have the option daw eh. I think upto July na lang ang plan na ito.
Sabi ko nga sa agent ko bakit, siguro mamahalan na nila and lesser benefits. You want I can give you my agents number para maquote ka niya sis.
Loyal ako sa agent ko she is has been servicing me since my eldest up to now.

Here's what PhilamLife gave me for the Educ Plan of my 3 year old daughter:

Plan 20: Annual Premium: 24,681 (for 9 years)
Plus Annual Investment:   15,000

Age 16: 60,000
       17: 69,000
       18: 78,000
       19: 87,000

Age 20 ( @8% depending on the performance of the Investment)    :     94,316
Age 23: (@8% depending on the performance of the Investment)    :    100,000
Age 28: (@8% depending on the performance of the Investment)    :    100,000

The plan also has what they call emergency fund/Loanable Amount
Child's Insurance Coverage (Until Age of 25)
Payor's Accident Coverage
Term Insurance Rider
Accidental Death Benefit
Payor's Death or Total & Permanent Diss: Premiums are waived

Ok na din ba sya or can anyone here have some comparison with Generali or Manulife?

Thanks

For me, NO. Grabe yung nangyari sakin, wala akong nakuha sa college plan ko. So ayoko mangyari yun sa daughter ko. Nakakadala talaga. Nag open nalang ako ng bank account para lang sa education ng daughter ko. Instead na educ plan, ipunin ko nalang yung pera sa bank para ayan lang alam kong hindi mawawala yan unless ako mismo makelam or gumastos.

at first t'was CAP and now Prudential...who's next? Don't risk your money further, it's no longer practical.

^savings? kakainin ng inflation ang pera mo sa bank...

tha pre need companies also will have to deal with this. the problem here is pag savings mo, you have a control of your money. with pre need companies, your bound to their contract. kung lugi sila, lugi ka na rin. hay grabe, who would have thought that Prudential will have this problem. kawawa yung tita ko who has education plans for her kids here.

Did anyone consider buying fully paid educ plans from a policyholder?

^^^ i guess for as long as you fully understand the plan and the risks and benefits, thats perfectly ok :) ako kasi i never entertained the idea based on recent news about educ plan plus meron din ako nito ang super konti talaga nag nakukuha ko nung nagaaral ako. So right now, i dont entertain thoughts about educ plan. Id rather invest in VUL, Mf or business.
