For those sissies who went here, baka you can suggest van for rent/hire. Since marami naman kame, thinking of hiring na a vehicle for us to save travel time at baka mas makamura! TIA

Just got back from Cagayan and Isabela trip together with sis Layla & Flowercondahon

Day 1 - Callao Cave & Pinacanauan River (w/bat watching). Cave is amazing. Able to see up to 5 chambers lang since we have to leave early to catch the bats. Our guide was Nino, hahaha! Nakulitan ata sa amin. But he is very informative and strict sa rules and a good photographer. Love the lake, very serene and peaceful. Ang daming bats! Amazing.

Day 2 - Palaui Island/Cape Engano. Daytour for this place. 4hrs travel from Tuguegarao to Sta. Ana - San Vicente Port. The older brother of Kuya Edwin was our guide/boatman. Sobrang ganda ng Palaui! We have the whole islands for our self.

Day 3 - Tumauni Church, Isabela. A very quick trip to Isabela to visit this church since I have to go back to Manila on the same day. Very nice church. Love its color and cylindrical bell tower.

^si kuya edward ba iyong boatman/tourguide nio? siya kasi dati iyong sa amin, kapatid ni kuya edwin. ang ganda ng palaui island ano?!!! bonus pa iyong solong solo ang island! gusto ko ding bumalik dito at itry ang snorkeling.

pag nagbabakasyon kami sa tumauini noong bata pa kami, sa tumauini church kami nagsisimba. nakakatuwa naman na sinasadya talaga siyang bisitahin.

^ Yep sis. Siya rin. Si Kuya Edward. Bitin nga din kame. We were not able to do island hopping. Sana in the future makabalik pa din. Place is really amazing. Sana place will be kept/maintain as is. Perfect.

I find Tumauni Church beautiful. Medyo nainis lang kame kasi during the time of our visit, meron kaming nakasabay na mga bikers. w/activity, Bike for Mary at Green Earth Movement.. They had their stop over at the church at dun sila kumain. Meron mga bikers na basta na lang iniwan yung mga basura at pinagkainan nila sa gilid at harap ng church. Hay!!

^Ugh, madami akong kakilala from Isabela na sumama diyan... For that binalikan ko nga ang FB account and they were stopping in the churches in Isabela to Tuguegarao. Haay, naku, Bike for Mother Earth my ass when as simple as throwing garbage in proper places e di naman magawa.

^ Korek sis. I find it so hypocrite.   Anyway, beautiful talaga ang church, sadly di kinaya ng oras namin yung San Pablo. Mukhang maganda rin at very old.

Cagayan and Isabela trip is perhaps the most memorable and unique trip for me. I met 2 GT sisses, Helga and Flowercondahon and traveled with them. It's really great meeting like-minded people! Together, we explored Callao Cave, Pinacanauan river, Palaui Island and Cape Engaño.

During the last two days, I met 3 locals who were very hospitable. They drove and toured us around Cagayan and Isabela, while sharing interesting stories/trivia about their hometown/culture. Really enriching!

We tasted Pancit Batil Patong at AM-PM in Tuguegarao and Pancit Cabagan at Josie's in Cabagan, Isabela, which were delish. Had dinner at Tita Isabel's Grill and Seafood Restaurant in Tuguegarao, also highly recommended. Last dinner at Jaksilog also in Tugue!

We saw five ancient churches, Tuguegarao Cathedral, Iguig Church (& Calvary Hills), Poor Clare Monastery of Iguig, St. Matthias Cathedral of Tumauini and St. Paul Cathedral Ruins of San Pablo (Isabela).

We also went to Ilagan Sanctuary in Ilagan, Isabela, where you'll find a mini zoo, four caves and a zipline facility. According to the locals, their zipline, which just opened last May, is currently the fastest in the country, up to 80/kph.

sisses, ok lang ba na itravel si baby 13 months old via bus from manila to cagayan? ang mahal kasi ng airfare 10k kaming 3.

^usually kasi sis gabi kami bumabyahe para tulog lang kmi sa byahe.. mahal mahal ng airfare.

^ Get the most comfortable bus available - yung sa Victory na mga bagong buses are very comfy.
May nakikita naman akong mga bumabyahe na may kasamang baby. minsan, maingay kasi umiiyak. minsan tahimik.

Prepare well.  and take a weekday night trip, if possible para mas mabilis ang byahe compared sa weekend (fri-sun) night trips.

Isa pa, how is baby during other travels? manageable naman sana.

she is behave naman sa lahat ng trip nya. ang prob lang namin nagsusuka sya lalo na after na ng byahe. parang matanda na eh hehehhe nahihilo siguro.

plan nga namin na mag super deluxe na lang kmi. since un ang may diretso sa gonzaga, buguey kasi ang punta namin. apr 12 ng gabi ang alis sana namin.
