sana nga sis. 1 week lang naman yung RT ko, with IL from my relatives and enough show money (1700 sgd). papalbc ko  na lang [textspeak!] documents ko kasi minsan daw nagchecheck ang IO ng laman ng checkin baggage. to be sure lang. hayyy

dun sa kabilang forum na chinecheck ko, may mga lalaki din daw na na A to A.. iniisip ko baka naman dahil pabalik balik na sila tapos matagal [textspeak!] RT kaya nahohold. kasi ako first time ko sa SG tapos may tatak na din naman passport ko from HK na nagstay lang ako dun ng 5 days..

dasal dasal na lang tayo mga sis, yung mga magririsk na pupunta ng SG this year.. :-(

hmmm....so pag pupunta po jan for job hunting ilang weeks iallot para sa return tiket? kc for me, balak ko mag job hunt ng 1 month at least, ok lang b un? ano po b usually ang itatanong sa airport ?

^^sa pinoysg yan noh? those guys naman kasi, magstastay sa sg ng 2-3mos, tapos babalik in a month or less, e talagang mapaghihinalaan ka nga talaga diba. walang mapapala kung masyado mo iistress sarili mo i don't think na mahaharang ka ikaw narin nagsabi first time mo sa sg.

Di ko lang alam san dapat mag start para makakuha ng job sa SG.  I am now starting to apply online and there are companies na nag rereply sa application kaya lang ang gusto nila nandyan na sa SG... kelan ba ang best time to job  hunt in SG... Me and my husband wants to go in SG by January, is it a good timing?? hope for an answer from our SG sisses.. TIA

yes sis Graycee, sa pinoysg ko nga siya nabasa. yun nga iniisip ko e, kasi karamihan talaga, pabalik balik na. i'm confident naman na makakalusot ako sa IO ng pinas at sg pero minsan talaga u feel down when you get to read some of those posts. pananalig lang talaga kay Bro ang kailangan. :-)

rerelocate ka na ng sg anytime soon diba sis? trust me, sg gov't is not that different from pinas. magaling lang magtago ang gov't nila dito as what most locals here are saying. IMO, everything is jsut a facade. the government tries to make singapore so modern & cosmopolitan when in reality eh major backlog parin ang utak ng mga tao dito --- and that includes the gov't na rin. uso rin ang palakasan and such dito just like pinas bottomline is, it happens everywhere. sa pinas kasi garapalan lang and di sila marunong magtago

Mga sis, malayong-malayo ba ang itsura ng mga condo vs flat vs houses? Gusto ko kasi sana mag-isa ako with my own kitchen and bathroom, pero everyone I know there is against that idea kasi mamumulubi daw ako if I take on all the expenses alone. Hehe.

^sister, sa gusto mong yan baka more than half ng sweldo mo nasa lodging na hindi pa kasama ang utilities sige malaki sweldo mo since IT ka, but then you also have to consider the factors kung san ka makakatipid talaga.

ang downside lang ng HDB is manipis yung walls so yung ingay ng kapitbahay rinig mo. kami from condo nag hdb kami. yun lang ang napansin kong difference. although kasi yung room na nirerent namin, nasa dulo cya so mas makapal ang wall and hindi kasi kami sandwiched, but yung ingay naman morning ko lang naririnig.

btw, yung inenumerate ko na downside ng sg, isama mo narin pala ibang countries dyan like UAE hindi lang talaga marunong magtago ang gov't natin.

^ Haha, ayun nga e, wala na daw ako ipon kung wala ako ka-share sa lahat. Hanap na lang ako ng solo room in a flat siguro, para at least I can still have my privacy pero mababawasan util bills ko. Thanks thanks!

^you mean 1br sis na flat? hmmm, parang wala pa akong nakikitang ganyan dito. mostly it's 2+1br, 3br, 3+1br. OR kung gusto mo ng ganyan na setup mukhang kailangan mo pa dumaan sa agent which will require you to pay an agent fee (half ng monthly mo if ever). to give you an idea sis, ang master's bedroom dito (with your own toilet) will cost you around 1,5k, meron ako before nakita 850sgd, hdb cya. mura na yung ganitong rate kasi mostly nakikita ko around 1k - 1.5k. ang common room dito (no cr) is 500-700.

btw, another thing pala pag sa condo, may amenities (pool, gym etc.). ok condo if habol mo amenities. but if d ka naman talaga gumagamit ng mga amenities then hdb is okay. hth.

ang dami din pala pumapasok sa USS after hours. 7pm onwards, $2 lang ang entrance pero Hollywood strip ka lang pwede.. pero effect na yun if picture picture lang naman.. punta kami dun the other day.. ok naman..

i saw this sa website, $5 yata sya. friday & saturday, 7-10pm. if you have a day-pass/annual pass, free ka na.

this one's ok na for me. hindi kase kame mahilig sa theme parks (signs of aging, y'know! hehe)

^^ Whoa, ang laki din pala ng agent's fee ha. Hmm, actually, I'd be OK with sharing the flat naman, as long as I have my own room. ^ganun naman talaga sis ang setup. yung room lang irerent mo, solo mo naman yun. but others kasi they look for kashare para d mabigat sa bulsa. best option is maghanap ka ng master's kung gusto mo ng malaking room na may sariling toilet. hay speaking of which, mukhang kailangan namin lumipat ni h2b after 6mos looks like were going to need a bigger room to accomodate our baby...
