mga sis, question po. a friend of mine is offered 1,800 sg dollar for basic salary sa sg. ok na ba yun? kasi sabi nila mataas daw ang cost of living sa sg. pwede na ba sa kanya yung 1800? how much ba usually ang mga house sa sg? how much ang rent? thanks.

^thats's already the basic salary here for s-pass holders. mas mababa pa nga yung iba but they managed to survive naman, kanya kanyang diskarte lang talaga

how much naman daw po ang rent ng house sa sg? kasi my friend is having a doubt pa rin daw dahil baka wala na sya maipadala sa manila dahil sa mahal ng mga gastusin dyan sa sg.

im flying to singapore on aug 5,ill be meeting up with hubby and we will stay there from august 5 to 11,ill be flying with jetstar,i think thats the cheapest airline to go there from manila,just wondering here what to expect when i get there esp. at the immigration,like how much is the visa and do they i ask you if you have money to cover all the days you will stay,and what clothes can i wear and cannot wear..TIA!

sis for me kung single ka and wala obligations sa pinas like credit card bills and loans, ok ang 1.8k as a stepping stone. Meron iba ganyan din salary kasi husband Nila Malaki salary dito. Depends din sis sa lifestyle. On the average 300 rent na meron ka kashare sa common room. Internet/electricity/water/gas 70. Mobile expense 100. Transpo 150 (bus & mrt). Food 300. Groceries/toiletries 80. Meron ka pa 800 matitira.

The higher salary you get, the more expenses you gain din. Hehe. Andyan yung may insurance bills, housing loan, educational plan, investment, etc.

sis yapeegirl, is your quotation ba good for a month expenses na? kasi a friend of mine is doubtful kung kakagatin nya yun offer sa kanya na 1800sgd kasi magpapadala pa daw sya dito sa pinas baka sa sobrang taas ng cost of living daw sa sg eh wala na matira sa sweldo nya at hindi na sya makapag-padala dito sa pinas.

mga sis, i just read in pinoysg na mas lalong naghihigpit ang IO ngaun jan sa SG. madami daw nahohold, sa airport pa lang d na pinapapapasok. nakakalungkot naman kung totoo un. advisable daw na 5 days na lang [textspeak!] ipabook na tiket. hayyy..

^sa babae po sila naghihigpit. i think i posted it either here or sa singapore thread sa foreign land section na it was because of the 3 murder cases last march-april na involved 3 pinays and ang pagiging rampant ng prostitution dito.

never pa naman ako naharang sa immigration considering na ang ticket ko mga 20 days or so. and kung hindi ka naman kaduda duda tignan bakit sila manghaharang in the first place? and this place earns from tourists... what's the point of them na manghaharang sila and maghihigpit sila eh di parang useless lang rin ang pagiging part nila ng ASEAN kung ganun lang, eh di magpa impose nalang sila visa system before entering their country diba

yung ibang IO nag ask ng company ID tsaka if mukha ka namang kagalang galang hinde ka nila haharangin..
