good for you! i googled the company, bago pa nga lang sya and for sure it'll expand fast.. im sure you know that sin is a huge trading  hub.. actually dyan nga based hq namin in asia and i'm eyeing for a transfer really bad!! haha..  if you don't mind me asking - how's the pay sis? tax free kasi where i'm at right now and i'm getting a pretty good sum na rin though at times parang di rin worth it esp when i'm totally stressed out..

Hi sis, same here, i am interested to relocate in SG or HK for work, now am currently here  in Qatar and I really don't like here, it just happened that our office transferred here, we came from Bahrain (which is open country), now am trying my luck in SG or HK para mas malapit sa atin. 

How's the cost of living in SG? Onga pala am in SAP Enduser and EA. Kung may opening sa inyo in relation to my field kindly send me pm.

^do check jobsdb.com.sg or monster.com.sg for job openings. cost of living definitely mas mataas dito compared to middle east (nanggaling ako ng dxb fyi), di rin uso dito ang housing/transpo to and from work. to give you an idea minimum wage dito is $1800sgd, rent normally is atleast $500-$700 (depends if condo or hdb, can cost you about $1,5k for the master's if you want to have your own toilet), food is around $5-$10 depends kung san ka kakain. transpo naman is mga 71cents cheapest pag malapitan lang via bus.

oh so there's a possibility na matagal pa bago magrelease ang singtel ng iphone 4. huhu... sana bago mag mid august meron na

hi there smm_0411! we're in the same region - abu dhabi ako.. been there last month for a short vaca w/ bf and sort of checked out the place na rin.. i guess parang gcc rin lang yata e.. dunno abt qatar but here mahal din from esp accom rental.. food is cheap there though thanks to hawker centers i think.. though i was surprised to know na mas mura LV dito! tssk.. i discovered late.. sayang! haha..

^hi sis, i heard that cost of living in Abu Dhabi and Qatar are almost the same... In bahrain, mura ang lahat, i.e. house & food at sake open country almost the same as Dubai unlike Qatar, di ko mafeel dito talaga  ... I want to relocate somewhere near sa Philippines... I hope that I can get an offer soon....

^depends on the field and experience. usually ang labanan dito job experience. own room yung price na binigay ko. pag sharing, mga nasa $250 ang pinakamurang nakita ko with PUB(utilities) na. or minsan hati hati pa sa PUB. what you can do is if you have friends na here, hanap kayo ng sariling unit nyo for your peace of mind na rin, yun ang gagawin kasi namin so far pero it'll take atleast 1mo to process everything from contracts and so, kaya mukhang sept pa kami makakalipat somewhere else kahit na ayoko na dito sa tinitirhan ko. tiis tiis muna

girl.moto sorry OT pero kasi ang tagal ko na naghahanap ng middle eastern food dito na authentic but to no avail (weird kasi eto stopover papunta sa middle east diba  ) pabato naman ng boneless chicken kebab platter from automatic cafe from abu dhabi

^^thanks sis, i'll check singtel website... Magkano dapat na demands sa salary para magkaroon ng decent life dyan, what i mean is may ipon at mabibili ang gusto at the same time.  I am also planning to bring my family there once I have my residency...

i heard mejo strict nga raw dyan.. dito kasi ok lang din like dubai.. rent is killing me  though kasi i'm alone in my room having my own toilet.. all the other expenses are ok na rin lang so all in all it's still good..

anyway, it remains that we wanna go there lalo na si smm_0411 but i guess i have to save up for the meantime while im here at mukhang wala akong maiitabi jan..

^^depends kasi kung anong specialization mo sa IT sis. kung SAS developer ka, minimum here is 4k. but i think basic salary ng mostly IT people here is 2,5k. for me ha, wala sa sweldo yun, nasa spending habits and diskarte kung paano magipon. kasi auntie ko basic lang sweldo (1,8k) pero napapaaral naman nya 3 boys nya. now andito na yung mga bata. nagpapadala pa sa pinas yan ha...

yes as long as your working pass is under e-pass. you can get them a dependent visa. that's what my aunt did kanya kanyang diskarte lang sis. dami ways para makatipid dito. yung iba they get a common room instead of getting a whole room for themselves, as for the food, may mga hawker food naman na $3.50 lang then baon ka lang ng tubic etc etc.
