tonette, pang office na shoes ba? ang mga local brands nila dito like D&G parang okay naman yun siguro kasi dami naman buy lagi. for me, im into C&K lang kasi tama lang for me ang price ang matibay talaga.

Our flat contract is due at the end of July.

Kinausap na namin ang Owner and payag siya na wag na dumaan ng Agent kaya lang daw nakalagay sa contract namin na if ever we are going to renew e dapat sabihan ang current agent.

Is there a way around it? How do we bypass the agent.

Bumaba ba rentahan? He's still charging us $2k for a 2-bedroom condo in Pasir Ris/Tampines.

KARLA, di bumaba ang rentahan or if it did, im not aware. by passing the agent, i think if both you and the owner agreed naman, you can opt to create a new contract between both of you na lang signed ng both parties para sure talaga. i wanted that way sana as well kaya lang ayaw ng owner. sayang din ang agent's fee.

btw, mura ang rent nyo ha. parang gusto ko na din yan. 300 lang diff condo pa.

^what kind of work do have in mind? my friends are in the advertising companies in Singapore.  what's your field of work? work experiences maybe? dami hiring sa singapore. most of my friends went there as tourists and found work agad. maybe depende sa career or work experience din.

^hotel industry? in demand yang field na yan. make use of that experience. use that as your edge in entering foreign countries (like US, UK or Canada). then pagnakapasok ka na saka ka maghanap ng gusto mo na job. that's what my friend did. she accepted a not-so-good position in singapore then once she got in, after a few months, she looked for a good and high-paying job and she got it. it's a matter of planning, hardwork and positivity.

thanks sa mga reply sis hapee and pia (tama ba? hehe) actually walang dress code sa office kaya kahit slippers ata pwede pero ayaw ko naman ng tipong nasa bahay ako ang dating so i think i will stick with the flat sandals and ballet shoes. with the sandals i know sold na ako sa charles and keith. yung ballet shoes lang talaga o yung mga tipong rubi shoes kaso feeling ko di nag tatagal ang rubi eh. tyaka medyo surplus ang dating nung store sa akin hehe

tonette, yung ITTI and OTTO shoes na nabili ko na red flats 80 plus ata.. yung isa na leather was 90 plus.. super favorite ko ito ngayon.. flats sya.. meron kasi cushion kaya sarap ilakad.. range would be around 80-120.. buy na!!! gogogo

my kumare is a pharmacist in Changi Gen pero 10 years na rin yata sya working there. She used to work in KL din as pharma. The other year her cousin in law went here to apply, pharma din she stayed for almost 3 mos sa SG pero di nakakuha ng work.

pwede mo pa rin naman itry mag apply dito. i think for medical line of works tumatanggap sila ng walk in application. pwede ka din mag apply online. pag wala pa din try mo na lang ang mga agency jan sa pinas. back side lang kasi ng ganito is malaki yata ibabawas sayo.

nag-shopping ako sa mustafa ng chocolates and toiletries for pasalubong. uwi kasi ako this saturday pero balik rin ng tuesday. my gash, $60 lang pero ang dami-dami kong nabili na chocolates! sobrang mura talaga sa mustafa! ang downside lang eh, jampacked pag weekends. dapat talaga weekday o kaya gabi/madaling araw magpunta dun since 24 hours naman.
