sis xtine, ang husband ko sa SAP nagwowork... pero IT sya sa SAP.. sya nag mamanage ng PBX and IP phones ng SAP Asia.. malaki talaga super ang salary ng mga SAP consultants.. some even get around 10k.. pero for you na 7k tapos single ka, sobra sobra na yan girl! kahit pa gumimik ka twice a week, keri yan.. since sabi mo naman mag hawker ka at mag flat sharing ka, eh di mas lalo effect yan.. let's say ganito monthly..

Rent - 700 (common room na wala ka ka-share)
PUB/Internet/Cable - 100
Mobile - 300 (malaki na ito.. assume ko lang na mahilig ka tumawag)
Transpo - 200 (MRT, taxi, at bus)
Groceries - 250 (toiletries at mga abubot)
Massage - 100
Mani/Pedi - 60
Haircare - 200
Facial - 100
Clothes - 300
Shoes - 300
Bags - 1,000
Ticket to pinas at the end of the month - 300 (walang promo ito)
Expenses every uwi mo ng pinas - 1,000
Remit to pinas - 1,000

Total = 5,900 (sure na may savings ka na 1k every month pa din)

eto lahat ay over over over na sa gastos para sa akin kasi single ka.. i wish i had this kind of budget when i was single.. LOL..

pero payong kapatid, sana makapag tipid ka.. sayang naman if maubos lang money mo sa puro luho.. once a while is ok siguro.. like what I said, the above list is at maximum na.. since you're young, sana matutunan mo mag invest sa mga funds or stocks.. para maaga ka mag retire.. hehe..

^Thanks so much Sis Alexme and Sis Yapeegurl for the inputs.  Malaking tulong ang breakdown of expenses.  I do have savings here sa Pinas and I'm not that maluho in terms of splurge.  I only buy when I have extra money.  I am also a fan of commuting kaya carry na carry ang pag bubus at pag SMRT.      Many thanks talaga.  I do hope makagusap pa kami so that I can bargain na they pay initially for the airfare and the rent for 1st week kasi pwede daw dyan.    Super thanks mga sis for answering my query.

sis xtine, napapa dollar sign ang mga mata ko sa salary mo. sobrang-sobrang-sobra na talaga ang 7k for a single person like you. at kung kasing tipid ka lang ng asawa ko... makakapagpatayo ka ng mansion sa pilipinas sarap naman!

pia, yun bang sinasabi mo na "some even get around 10k" eh kasama si hubby mo dun? LOL

parang gusto ko tuloy aralin ang SAP hmp... kaso baka lalong makadagdag sa stress ko yan.

^^ sis, may relocation din sana dapat.   am sure meron kahit papano.

kasi may start up costs ka aside fr the airfare.  like scouting for places to rent, deposit para sa rental mo, commission para sa agent, tapos kung ano ano pang mga ibang necessities na hindi mo iisipin dalhin dito fr Pinas.

@cecilydee Are you also into SAP?  I do suggest getting more experience kasi a lot of friends are asking me how the h*ll did I get an offer while wala nag reply sa mga applications nila sa SG.  My close friends are not into IT kasi kaya its really hard to get a job if not related to Info tech. 

Sis xtine, I was using SAP as an HR software after grad. kaya lang 5 months lang yun. the company sucks kaya I left then I pursued graphics na hehe. I dont know kung pwede pa bang i pursue yung experience ko sa SAP sa SG. Good luck girl!! ang saya ng sahod mo heheh

Flight ko na bukas mga sis. how much pala ang diamond peeling sa SG if anyone of you have tried na? salamat.

re:SAP, ang ok na experience is kung SAP consultant talaga like you can do modules yun ang mabenta sa IT

sis xtine, more than enough na talaga sa single ang salary mo so enjoy your package, and true yun sabi ni jen you should ask for a relocation package kasi mahirap magstartup dito.

@sis blooming.  Oo, ask ko talaga relocation.  Mahirap na baka magbakasakali. Mas maganda kung ang company ang maghahanap ng lugar ha ha ha Demanding.

@sis cecilydee. You can try applying as SAP junior consultant there in SG.  I do hope they have openings for junior consultant.   Sayang din if you won't learn SAP HR.  I also started in SAP after grad.  Swerte lang, I didn't know that it would soon be a good career.

@ sis shufee, Oo nga eh! Buti nalang I asked around.  Ayoko rin kasi grab agad ang isang opportunity dahil sa SG ang work.  Baka in the long run, lugi pala tapos nag resign na ako sa dati work. Medyo marami rin ako nababasa sa forums like pex and GT na marami rin ang naloloko sa SG lalo na if indians ang employer.  I just dunno if its true.  Pero meron din ako naririnig na hindi maganda maghandle ng employees ang chinese.  I do hope the company I will be transferring to will provide a good working relationship with its employees.

Hi mga sis I am here in Sg na at umuulan? lol tanong ko lang mga sis, is it necessary for the Philippine Immigration to ask about your relationship status? nagkaroon ako ng hassle moment sa PH *traumatic* pero sa SG immigration, ang smooth smooth ng process ko, di man lang ako tinanong kung ano gagawin ko. bait nung Malaysian. buti nalang din may nakilala ako sa plane na Pinay and she made me strong din after that hassle hay.

How much kaya magtaxi from airport to get there and how long ang byahe?

Sis cecilydee, traumatic din yung experience ko sa pinas na immigration. Nakakainis yung mga immigration officers esp dun sa NAIA 3. Ang daming hinihingi na ipafax daw chuva. Mabuti sana kung may business center and/or wireless internet dun sa airport eh wala naman. Sabi pa ng mga friends ko baka gustong magpabayad. Wala namang problem dito sa SG. Nabibwisit talaga ako kapag dumadaan ako sa immigration sa pinas.

safe na safe naman sis kahit anong oras.. pag 12am to 6am meron midnight charge ang taxi.. plus 50% of the meter fare.. tapos Mon-Fri naman from 7am to 9am peak hour din.. so from changi to fullerton baka mga 20sgd plus.. around 20-30mins byahe..

yang CebuPac terminal na yan, laging nagmamagaling kasi masyado yung mga IO dyan.  Once ko natry magfly ng CebuPac, naku, nakakainis talaga.  Kaya Jetstar nalang lagi kami.

i think naman its not the airline its mostly yun IO parang swertihan lang meron mga makakapal na nanghihingi lang lagay kaya nanghaharass eh haay kaloka sila.

@blooming and @ pink sises, Sa Clark airport ito. DMIA. tinanong ako kung ano freelancer (re:embarkation ko), edi inanswer ko in english. then inask invitation ko to visit (from my brother in sg) sabi sakin di daw niya pwede tatakan kasi di daw addressed to philippine embassy ang invitation ko sort of like that. in short ayaw ako paalisin at that time. dumahilan ako at sabi ko, "then how is that?" sabi, "di ka ba nakikinig? di ka makaka alis ngyon?" sabi ko, "my sis in law is pregnant" aba. biglang sabi, ok for now tatatakan ko to pero sa susunod, hindi na. DUH? ang bilis naman niya mapapayag. halatang nang ttrip. and then hindi pa tapos ang kalbaryo. May isang IO na naman ang humingi ng passport ko, ANG TANONG AGAD: may boyfriend ka? sabi ko, "di ko pa sinasagot" pero sa totoo wala hehe para lang matigil siya. Ang showbiz showbiz niya magtanong pati kung foreigner ba daw or pinoy. Hanggang sa nagconclude siya na, "sa internet mo nakilala yan" Ay grabe! Before that incident, Yung dalawang yun, nakita ko na sila labas pasok while my mom and lola are waiting for the check in to open. Akala ko kase piloto sila kaya parang deadma lang ako. Eh kasi naman kung maka uniform. Then nung naka pila na ako sa PH immigration, grabe tinitigan talaga ako nung lalake. Parang alam ko na merong pagttripan ako nito. sayang di ko nakuha ang pangalan nila. Naka off ang pagiging feminist ko at that time! grrrr



on the other note, sino nasa telok blangah? dito kasi ako at hindi ko alam kung saan pwede magpa money change. kaloka ayaw ko lumabas natatakot ako lol 2 days na ako sa bahay hehe.
