^lower your bodyfat % level

there is no such thing as spot training. Your body loses fat as a whole.
Enroll in a gym and do a complete body workout with a good diet.

3 lb dumbells will do nothing

^ agreed. :)

but if you want to work out your arms, instead of using 3 lb db's, i'd suggest doing pushups instead. it's a lot more challenging, and you have to recruit your arms, abs, and back muscles when doing it. :)

^ only one way to do it is by building up your pecs or chest muscles to render the illusion of having a fuller bosom. You could try chest presses, or better yet planks and its variations. I prefer the latter coz it also gets your arms, shoulders and best of all, the abs worked up.

I use 10lbs kettle bells.
and 5lbs / 10 lbs dumbells.
I do crossfit and circuit training too!
I adore hardcore workouts.
I adore girls who can manage to do deadlifts!

i for one lift--and heavy at that.

It gives such a nice feeling to be in the weight area and see that you can lift just as much as some guys.

just an addition, girls fall into the "trap" of just doing cardio, but doing cardio doesn't change your body shape.

if your body's shaped like a pear, you can do cardio and lose weight, but you'll only turn into a smaller pear.

Lifting weights builds lean muscle and reshapes your body to make it look awesome. Also, muscle burns more calories and fat even at rest.

Thanks for sharing, I agree. One time, a girl advised me not to do ab exercise kasi daw magiging muscle yung fat ko sa tiyan and mas magiging malaki.

Well lalaki naman talaga yung tiyan but not because fat became muscle but because the muscle inside might be pushing up the fat over it.

Hi sisses.. glad I found this thread.

Anyway, I have a question that has been bugging me for the past week.
I have been weight training (thru 30 day shred and Ripped in 30) since January. I do it consistently 5-7 times a week with proper diet.

I noticed last Friday thru my bf's camera na parang lumaki yung arms ko!! Ayoko ng ganun! I want my skinny arms back! I am 5'3 at 115 lbs

My arms became firmer pero parang lumaki sya? Since last week, I stayed away from carbs as much as possible. Will this help?

Somebody enlighten me pls..

^yes lessen carbs and lessen your calories.

You want to have a good muscle:fat ratio to achieve the "toned" look.

To get your skinny arms burn the arm fat so it only shows the muscle.
