@sis feline, di pa din ako nakakapunta sa intercon until now.  lagi ako sa gale branch which is near my work sa ortigas. yung sa waltermart malapit naman sa house namin tho ayaw ko mag-gym pag weekend kasi reserved yun in spending time w/ my baby tska pahinga.

@sis anetski, ano yung lipo6? saan avail and how much?
saan ba located yung gym mo?  gayahin ko yung routine mo  ha. (pini-print ko na ngayon hehe) kapain ko na lang which equipment yung ginagamit mo coz di ko sure which is applicable dun sa corresponding equipment na meron sa golds (nautilus nitro yung brand)

---

just sharing lang, in case sa golds galleria kayo stay away from that girl trainer ka may kulay ang buhok na kamukha ni mahal (yung midget). i forgot her name (ann yata or something) kasi hindi nya talaga ako inasikaso aside from making me wait several times.  siguro ganun her attitude coz our session was just 'free', yun bang 3 free session na covered yung introduction, measurement tsaka program pag new member ka.

im 30 poundsaway fr my ideal weight  (currently 154 target is 125)  tapos eto yung program na binigay nya:

cardio:
-20 mins threadmill
-20 mins elliptical

i forgot the corresponding weights na pero 15reps x 3 sets of the ff:

lower body:
-hip abduction / adduction
-leg press

core:
-abdominal
-lower back
-rotary torso

upperbody:
-overhead press
-rear delt/pec fly

actually, yan yung mga equipment na itinuro nya sa akin gamitin nung 2nd session namin coz those equipments were vacant at that time.  btw, yung yung same session namin na pinaghintay ako ng suuuuuper tagal coz may inaasikaso siyang ibang client na may health condition daw kaya di nya maiwan...e haller, kaya nga may 'schedule' diba.  so ayun, twice ni-resched yung next session namin (dahil may inaasikaso siyang iba ulit on our set schedule) ... then ayun ang sabi gagawan nya daw ako ng magandang program ready for my next visit pero nung finally natuloy kami nawala yung record ko.  she had to re-do my program ng rush (as in wala pang 3 mins sinulat) and hala, yung sinulat nya is yung kung ano lang yung naituro nya sa akin gamitin the previous session.

talagang im really on the look out for a more sensible program than the one given to me by that lousy trainer.  keep those tips coming kasi di ko din talaga afford maghire ng trainer (im sure meron namang ibang maayos na trainer dun)

i work in an engineering firm in alabang. pero hubby is a part owner of golds (sa group that has intercon/galleria/wilson/alabang/timog and soon to be the fort) so concerned kami sa mga feedback na ganyan.

i will talk to the fitness manager and see how this can be rectified. pm me na lang your name sis para magawan ng paraan.

sayang if sabay sana tayo i could work out with you.

sis wkt,
IMHO, Lipo 6 is way much better than Hydroxycut and Xenadrine. I took Hydro before, nyay! mega-palpitate ako.

LOL

@sis wkt,
bumisita ako sa Galeria branch.
ang SOP dun eh pag hindi contented ang member sa naging assessment and program, just talk to the fitness manager (hanapin mo si Boyet, sabihin mo ikaw yung friend ni Rissa na nabanggit nya nung Sabado) and for sure may confidentiality naman yun sis. :D

@sis airborne09,
usually naman naka uhm.. hehe "off season" halos lahat pag december.. nung start of the year nga, nag hahanap ako ng motivation.. :D

@sis caeca,
yup yup! kelan kaya tayo meet?

@sis wkt,
sensya at hindi ako maka post ng PM dito sa office (naka block) pero pumapasok sa email ko. if you want, you could pm me your email add at dun tayo mag usap. pero basically, they would redo the assessment pag hindi satisfied (at valid naman -- yung iba kasi, magpapa set ng appointment, then hindi sumisipot on time etc.. pa redo mo na lang sis).

@ sis feline13, i sent you a pm na.  salamat ha.

me naman, i dont really bother checking out the boys sa golds gym ... ganun yata pag married na? hahaha ... altho sometimes pag anjan tlaga sa harap ko i cant help but notice na may guys nga na maganda talaga ang katawan, like the other day andun si kiko rustia (tama ba?).  maganda katawan nya and may tattoo pa and he doesnt look 'yucky' despite the dreds and the sweat.

oftentimes yung girls ang mas sinisilip ko (tomboy ako kunwari hahaha) ... i mean, yung iba kasi maganda na yung katawan then nag-gym pa din so nakakatuwa.  makes me wonder kung ilang months/years pa before maging ganun ako.  or minsan naman, yung iba feeling ko nagpapa-cute lang nyahahaha :P

am i being weird to notice that some people sa gym eh tipong uupo sa equipment (na may upuan), magtetext ng matagal or most of the time they'd simply stare out into blank space.  wala lang, they just sit there. iniisp ko nga baka nagbe-break lang, just catching their breath, pero parang angtagal naman yata haha.  ako kasi dire-direcho, break in between reps eh mahaba na ang 30secs then kung tapos na lipat na sa ibang equipment.

wala lang, just some stuff i notice sa gym while working out :)

sis, did you notice if the people taking extra-long breaks are in good shape? ;D there are some programs that require you to take 3-5 mins breaks, though. :)

enough break na yung lakad at sip ng water sa drinking fountain -- then back to the set :D

yung iba, malamang, gusto lang mapag isa at mag isip isip in between sets. hehe... different folks for different strokes.
korek din na inspirational yung mga girls na super fit.. aliw panuorin mag work out.. and yung eye candy na guys.. well, swerte na lang kung hindi sila vain :D

--- > Good thing we have this thread.. continue posting na lang mga sisses. we'll support each other sa mga goals natin. slowly but surely wins the race.

Hi Girls. Let me share mine. Im working oversease and I started going to gym 2 weeks ago. Im 70kgs and need to reach at least 55-60 kgs> Im doing cardio and weight lifting ko is 3 times in a week and cardio na after. I spend 1.5 to 2 hours sa gym 6 times a week and after 10 days I lost 2 inches in my waist. My trainor said normal lang daw if hindi nagchange ang weight ko but Im lucky coz nagreduce ako ng 2 inches. In food, lunch lang ako may rice coz I really need carbo coz Im working. For breakfast I eat brown bread and coffee. For my dinner skimmed milk, bread and fruits. Hope in 3 mos Ill reach my target weight.

^^ true, the long breaks are usually for maximal strength workouts. i totally prefer that kind of workout over the ones with about 15-20 sec in between sets. :D

^ wow, 1.5-2 hours a day/6x a week is intense. don't worry too much about your target weight since you're lifting (and we all know how muscle is heavier than fat), focus mainly on inches lost, and how your body looks. :) enjoy your fitness quest!

we began our bikini body sessions in eclipse last night, and it went pretty well! we've got 4 ladies (most of whom i think are from GT), and they began learning squats and deadlifts last night. i'm feeling really optimistic about them reaching their fitness goals, basta consistent lang. my challenge now is to find time for my own workout, haha! ;D

Just started lifting again. Sarap ng feeling! I really have more energy than I did before. Mga 3x a week ako, schedule permitting. So far nakamiss lang ako last week nung trinangkaso kami lahat sa office. But I was back last monday and again yesterday.
