matagal nakong single  kaya medyo naboboring nako. naghahanap ulit ng bagong hobby na pwede pagkaabalahan habang naghahanap din ng right guy. medyo half-empty at gusto ko pa madagdagan ng inspirasyon.

^ sis, alam mo, ako, masakit man, nag-iisip nako na tatanda mag-isa.  kung mameet ko sya, super happy siguro ako. pero as of this point in my life, I have surrendered to the fact na hindi ko na ma-m-meet ang love of my life. Kaya enjoy nalang munako in meeting people and dating. That way, wala munang serious heartaches, masaya pa as I get to get to know different people, engage in different activities, puno scheds ko (at di ko maiisip ang kalungkutan).

i will pursue happiness na din... mag thank thank you na din ako if dadating pa...if dadating pa ah...ayaw ko na din umasa

sis, in any situation, I am psyching myself to always be alone. ako kasi may anak nako.  pero it does not mean umaasa ako na kasama ko sila sa pagtanda ko. kasi they might want to pursue their dreams and I do not want to bog them down because I am old and they have to take care of me.

kaya learn to stand on your own. ganun talaga ang buhay. kung may kasama (sana we pray), that's the best scenario. pero kung walang kasama, dapat tuloy parin ang ikot ng mundo.  ;)

marami nrin akong napagdaanan sa love. i just live my life that how i wanted it to be, living my life to the fullest and as if its my last. masaya maging single lalo na pag yung mga friends ko naloloka sa lovelife nila dhil my problema sila. "iwas stress" and on the other side. nkakamiss din kasi despite of the arguments, happy moment is still the best.

As of this writing I have been single for a year and 8 months now. It has been a major adjustment (not to mention a major heartbreak courtesy of my most recent ex) coming from an almost 4-year mature BF/GF relationship. Mature in a sense that we were both young professionals at the start of our time together with promising and high paying careers ahead of us both, we were able to go places without having to lie from our parents plus the plan of settling down supposedly this 2012.

I am now 26 years old and happily single. I was able to see through all the tears and the quicksand of emotions because I have my family and friends as my support system. Those people whom I unconsciously set aside when I was very much committed. I had more of a "ME" time. Love of self is indeed important, not because one is pompous or self-centered. It is more of making yourself whole again after being left with your heart torn to pieces (for those who came from a breakup) or to at least make yourself full of love and ready to love (esp for those who are, if I may say; NBSB). Personally speaking, I tried to rediscover myself: started writing again, watched theatrical plays again, (as cliche as made by that old song Bluer than Blue) caught up on my bestsellers and renewed my family ties! I never thought there are a lot of things I missed doing as ME and not part and parcel of a partnership. Go out, party and date all you want since you're single, that's fine! Just know when to draw the line - that has always been my mantra while being an active member of the dating market. :)

Don't take me wrong though, there is still that part of me that is waiting for the time that my heart is ready to fall in love again and undoubtedly enter a relationship. This time for keeps (should He allow). I have never given up on love though as they say - once bitten twice shy. I am so looking forward to that day that I will cross the threshold of being Ms. Single to Mrs. Committed - especially that I am the only one in our family who is very much single. LOL

Hope this helps answer your question, sis likraxhos. :)

I handle it one day at a time. I'm always thankful that I have great sets of friends from which I draw happiness from. My family and extended family is one support system that I'm also thankful to have. There may be times when I regress and all that nega stuff but with proper mindset and enough faith and positivity, I do get over it.

I am at a point where I am slowly coming to terms with my single life. Although I am still optimistic in finding that one man who'd be right for me, I still am not discounting the possibility that he might not "find me" (probably he was stupid to ask directions or something! LOL! ) so enjoying my life and living it to the fullest is all I can do. It's not right to rush and question God why I'm still solo because He might still be trying to teach me a lesson. I've been really stubborn with the choices I've made with men so that's what I really am being careful about now.

Besides, there are women out there na gustong kumalas sa karelasyon nila pero 'di nila magawa or miserable sa buhay dahil sa partners nila and all that so with all those presented, should I not be thankful that I'm free as a bird and with less stress in life - of course I am so thankful!  ;)

dont let other people pressure you mga sisters! Wala namang kailangang talunang bandwagon na pag single ka, di ka IN. Some people have boyfriends pero, kunsumida naman. Let other people stress about your lovelife, not you:)Just be busy being beautiful while waiting for the right one!:)

I feel you, sis. It's not that we are making being single sound not as bad as it is. We most likely just got the hang of it if not totally moved on. I've been there too, one "bittersweet" day at a time. Baby steps towards forgetting. You can make it too! I know because I am a hopeless romantic as well. Smile, sayang ang beauty!  ;) :) :-*

I can't believe I'm posting at this thread. An I single? NO! Am I single? NO! Am I single..... ummm... errr... YES! A few months ago, my partner since high school broke up with me. I was in a denial since I thought things can still be fixed. Suddenly, I just woke up one day realizing that, I am single!  :'(

Paano nga ba maging single? I never was one since age 16 and I'm already in my thirteeyish! Back read muna ako, it seems I have to jot down a lot of advices from you.  ???

Dont worry sis.  Di ka nag iisa.  Maaga din ako nagkabf, slightly earlier than you.  Then got married at the right age and had kids. Pero little did I know that the marriage started with the wrong foot, kahit matagal mag bf.  I was in denial for over a decade, but gaya mo, nagising din ako and finally decided to separate from my ex.

Tama ka, backread. At internet. Thanks to the internet age, dami kong natututunan.  Experimental stage din ako now since I only started dating this year.  Do your research, and believe me, hindi sya kasing hirap ng calculus.  ;D  Nakakatuwa lang discovering things about yourself, and getting to know others

.

oo nga sis sakura_bloom and girltalker2, ang hirap, but i have no choice but to accept it. hindi ko naman pwedeng pilitin na mahalin ako ng isang tao, right? anyway, i should start enjoying my single life.
