1. i do a high protein, low carb diet, but have cheats on weekends. :)

2. i eat any food that naturally occurs in nature -- meaning meat and green leafy vegetables for the most part.

3. i avoid processed food, because if it comes from a factory, has an expiration date of a few years, and the manufacturers need a snazzy ad campaign to convince you to eat it, you shouldn't be eating it in the first place. i also steer clear of refined carbohydrates especially sugar and refined flour, because this spikes insulin and hinders your body from burning fat for fuel.

4. i eat 5-6 times a day. skipping meals slows down your metabolism and makes you fat(ter).

5. i was sick of eating lettuce and hardboiled eggs and not losing any fat.

6. i saw a difference in a matter of weeks, but i'm continually on the path to self-improvement. :)

7. i still love chocolates. :D but i have them on my cheat meals on weekends, so i don't feel tempted to break my diet during the week.

8. i eat about a kilo of meat per day. :D so i'd peg my daily consumption at about P200.

9. personally, i'd avoid bread, even wheat bread. i'd go for fresh food, which you can buy at the market.

10. i love my diet! ;D i'm losing fat, but have a loooot of energy and don't get tired easily, unlike when i was on a rabbit-type diet. :) i do get cravings sometimes, but they're not intense, and can wait for my cheat day. :)

^ Good luck. :)

1. What kind of diet that you are doing?
- I try to get a balanced mix of carbs, protein, and fat at each meal.

2. What do you usually eat for diet?
- I pretty much eat whatever I like and whatever my mom cooks at home, but I don't overeat.
- I choose good carbs (vegetables, fruit, whole-grain) whenever possible.

3. What are the foods that you are avoiding to eat and why?
- I limit (but not ban outright) my intake of refined white flour and sugar. That's just bad stuff.
- I also ban all sugary drinks. I was at my chubbiest when I was glugging down iced tea and venti Frappuccinos with abandon.
- I also do not like processed or boxed snack food (Pop Tarts, Chips Ahoy, etc.), junk food, or "cheap" chocolates (Nestlé, Hershey's, M&M's, etc.). I used to eat a lot of them, and they were pretty much the cause of my weight gain. Also avoiding high fructose corn syrup and trans fats.
- Anything with artificial sweeteners. I do not want to eat anything "artificial".
- Mayonnaise and other mayonnaise-based dressings. I think it's gross now.

4. How many times do you eat in one day? 6 meals? or do you skip meals so that you will be able to attain your goal?
- I eat three square meals in one day, and I may snack once or twice if I'm hungry in the middle of the morning or the afternoon. I never snack after dinner (unless I'm out at a party or something).
- Like caeca said, I don't skip meals because it slows down your metabolism and makes you gain more weight than before.

5. What made you decide to do the diet?
- I wanted to have a healthy lifestyle. I wanted to lose weight, and still enjoy eating what I like.

6. Were you able to accomplish your goal? How long it was accomplished?
- Heck yes! I started in 2006, and I'm still eating this way. (Although I do let loose when I'm on vacation abroad.) It all came gradually, though, especially once I started learning nutrition facts.

7. Do you feel any temptation to other foods that may affect your diet? And why?
- Of course, because I love food. Whether I give in to temptation or not, I deal with it on a case to case basis. I also allow myself the weekends and special occasions to have a bit of desserts, pizza, alcohol, chips, and other food that I like but wouldn't consume on a regular basis. Naturally, I have to eat those in moderation too. Just because it's a "cheat day" doesn't mean I'll go all out.

8.  How much do you spend for the diet? I mean do you really budget the food that you are going to eat?
- I guess the biggest luxuries that I buy for myself are whole-grain bread from French Baker/Lartizan, steel-cut oats, high-end chocolate, real maple syrup, and Larabars. Except for the bread, I have to buy them from the US. I still live with my folks, so I don't really spend for most of my food.

9. Do you have any suggestions to avoid spending too much money just for the diet? Meaning can you give us tips to make tipid in terms of diet? Like for example instead of buying wheat bread at expensive bakery you can suggest any substitute on it.
- Oops. I may be the worst person to be asked about that, because my definition of "tipid" is asking relatives in the US to buy them for me. :P I think you have to pay for quality sometimes.

10. How does diet affect your body? Do you feel any cravings?
- I have enough energy, I'm always "regular", and I also don't get bad acne like I used to! I'm happy with how my body looks right now. As my signature says, I went from L to XS this way.
- I still think my diet can be improved...I have a major sweet tooth. But for now, I'm pretty comfortable with my routine, and it's working well for me as it is.

1. What kind of diet that you are doing?
No rice, softdrinks diet

2. What do you usually eat for diet?
all and a bit of everything

3. What are the foods that you are avoiding to eat and why?
Rice, fats, oily foods and softdrinks

4. How many times do you eat in one day? 6 meals? or do you skip meals so that you will be able to attain your goal?
twice to thrice daily

5. What made you decide to do the diet?
I saw my picture in our Annual Dinner Party for 2009, and it is not so ME! 128LBS

6. Were you able to accomplish your goal? How long it was accomplished?
No rice and softdrinks for 1 year... from 128lbs now 105lbs. (very long)

7. Do you feel any temptation to other foods that may affect to your diet? And why?
Never tempted to eat rice and drink softdrinks at all!

A very cheap diet, as what I've learned. Have an affordable diet, in this way you can maintain it all the way.

9. Do you have any suggestions to avoid spending too much money just for the diet? Meaning can you give us tips to make tipid in terms of diet? Like for example instead of buying wheat bread at expensive bakery you can suggest any substitute on it.
No cause I eat regular bread and still my diet is effective but very long process.

10. How does diet affect to your body? Do you feel any cravings?
Nada. It's in my system. I love to discipline my self, I eat everything(except rice) but with certain limitations.

1. What kind of diet that you are doing?
- No name for it. I just try to eat healthy foods along with my meals, and I cut out as much fat from my food as I can.

2. What do you usually eat for diet?
- Anything, just removing the fat. I also make sure I get veggies with every meal.

3. What are the foods that you are avoiding to eat and why?
- I avoid soft drinks, but I confess, I do drink once in a while. I also don't drink Iced tea since its more fattening than soft drinks. I go for water or juice when I eat out.

4. How many times do you eat in one day? 6 meals? or do you skip meals so that you will be able to attain your goal?
- Skipping meals isn't good. Depraving yourself of nutrition is the worst kind of diet. I eat when I'm hungry but avoid fatty foods.

5. What made you decide to do the diet?
- I attended an eating healthy seminar and they gave a lot of tips on how to properly diet. I've watched what I eat since then.

6. Were you able to accomplish your goal? How long it was accomplished?
- I didn't set a weight goal. I don't want to limit myself to a certain weight, I just want to keep on going until I'm healthy.

7. Do you feel any temptation to other foods that may affect to your diet? And why?
All the time. I ate ice cream when I got fever last month.

8.  How much do you spend for the diet? I mean do you really budget the food that you are going to eat?
No, I don't budget, but I buy fruits for desert, and canned juice for when I crave for soft drinks.

9. Do you have any suggestions to avoid spending too much money just for the diet? Meaning can you give us tips to make tipid in terms of diet? Like for example instead of buying wheat bread at expensive bakery you can suggest any substitute on it.
Wheat bread is good, but you don't need to eat double-fiber. In fact, normal wheat bread is healthier than double-fiber. It's also healthier than Gardenia's low-fat bread. Buy fruits, they're healthy and filling. Bananas are cheap too, but I prefer mangoes.

10. How does diet affect to your body? Do you feel any cravings?
Not much when I wasn't exercising. I took up biking a few months back and saw myself getting thinner without changing my diet. You can't lose weight on diet alone.

Hope these help.

1. What kind of diet that you are doing?
"trying to eat healthy" diet

2. What do you usually eat for diet?
fish, veggies (yung nakapacked na frozen sa S & R), salad, fruits (papaya, mango, apple), oatmeal, wheat biscuits, sometimes wheat bread or brown rice, sometimes chicken breast when i am tired of fish

3. What are the foods that you are avoiding to eat and why?
i dont eat chichiria, sweets, processed food. i generally avoid pork, beef, white rice because i feel bloated and my skin looks better when i avoid these.  pero i indulge on weekends and when i want to eat something new to break the monotony in the middle of the week basta wag lang masyado madami.

4. How many times do you eat in one day? 6 meals? or do you skip meals so that you will be able to attain your goal?
i eat whenever i am hungry basta di naman madami. i get grumpy when i am hungry.

5. What made you decide to do the diet?
to maintain weight because when i cross over a certain weight di ako makahinga.  it's good for my skin.

6. Were you able to accomplish your goal? How long it was accomplished?
yes. i am just trying to maintain my weight now but the biggest weight loss i had was 8 lbs in a month.

7. Do you feel any temptation to other foods that may affect to your diet? And why?
yes pag nagsasawa na ko sa kinakain ko once in a while and i give in basta wag naman sobra.  i can have cake as long as it's not the whole cake.

8.  How much do you spend for the diet? I mean do you really budget the food that you are going to eat?
di naman siguro lalampas ng 1,000 a week

9. Do you have any suggestions to avoid spending too much money just for the diet? Meaning can you give us tips to make tipid in terms of diet? Like for example instead of buying wheat bread at expensive bakery you can suggest any substitute on it.
cook at home tapos mag baon na lang

10. How does diet affect to your body? Do you feel any cravings?
i feel good. i dont feel bloated except sometimes for a few days when i have my period.  my skin looks better.  sometimes i have cravings pag nagsasawa na ko sa healthy eating.

1.What kind of diet that you are doing?
Oatmeal + banana + ulam/soup + crackers diet
2. What do you usually eat for diet?
oatmeal for all major meals, or if we are having soup, just soup. Crackers and banana for merienda
3. What are the foods that you are avoiding to eat and why?
i avoid rice( talagang nakakataba and it will make/encourage you to eat more, atleast for me), coffee-free na ako for 2 weeks (yey!), sweets. Basically, if i am craving sweets or chips, i eat some lang para di naman super deprived ang feeling ko.
4. How many times do you eat in one day? 6 meals? or do you skip meals so that you will be able to attain your goal?
i eat 2-5x a day
5. What made you decide to do the diet?
when i weighed myself and nagulat ako sa tinaba ko. Plus my jeans are nagpuputukan already
6. Were you able to accomplish your goal? How long it was accomplished?
in 2 weeks the jeans that were really tight are loose already.
7. Do you feel any temptation to other foods that may affect to your diet? And why?
yes, like when i see people drinking coffee, eating rice.. Ugh! so what i do, i leave the dining area nalang muna. kaka-inggit.
8.  How much do you spend for the diet? I mean do you really budget the food that you are going to eat?
Oatmeal, milk, banana and crackers are mura lang naman. mas mura pa nga than my regular meals
9. Do you have any suggestions to avoid spending too much money just for the diet? Meaning can you give us tips to make tipid in terms of diet? Like for example instead of buying wheat bread at expensive bakery you can suggest any substitute on it.
Im not so sure, i dont really look at the price much, kasi, i figure out, if its for my health, sulit din naman.
10. How does diet affect to your body? Do you feel any cravings?
sometimes, but i always think " Mind over body"

1. Trying to eat healthy diet :D

2. Anything on the table. I just limit my rice intake to half a cup per meal.

3. Chocolates, basta anything sweet. May history kami ng diabetes sa family eh.

4. Breakfast, morning Snack, Lunch, afternoon Snack, Dinner, night snack...
Sometimes I go straight to lunch kapag inuumaga ako sa paggawa ng project. I eat mashed potatoes (home-cooked) or oatmeal while doing my projects.

5. I want to be healthy.

6. I'm still doing it.. so I guess.. Yes

7. Yes I always do. I love chocolates!

8. I'm not sure... Ask my mom :) The potatoes are 40php, oatmeal 100php, bought them at the supermarket.

9. Research... Research... Sometimes eating healthier is more expensive but it's all worth it. I mean, would you rather skimp on the healthy food and spend your money treating heart disease or diabetes due to obesity instead? I don't think so..

10. Whenever I snack on fruits I feel energized and lighter. Cravings are always present but my will is greater. Well, most of the time.. hehe
